Integration pupils from Muslim families to the educational process of physical education in elementary schools

Title of the thesis: Are children from Muslim families at a disadvantage during Physical Education lessons in primary schools? Keywords: migration, integration, multiculturalism, Muslim children, mainstreaming, inclusive physical education The aim of this research is to identify how children from Muslim families are at a disadvantage during Physical Education lessons in primary schools in the Czech Republic. In order to achieve the goal of this work, I used the quantitative method of collecting data by using an electronic survey available in four languages. The survey was completed by 66 Muslim parents and their children. The results show the problems of integrating pupils from Muslims families into the educational process of physical education in elementary schools in the Czech Republic. There are written recommendations in eleven problematic areas for physical education teachers, heads of PE departments and leaders of schools in order to more easily integrate Muslim pupils into the educational process of physical education in elementary schools in the Czech Republic.
Motivation structure of moving activities for pupils in the 1st and in the 4th classroom, year of studies in town's and village's schools in Ustecky region

The moving activity is an important part of human life, especially nowadays with the life style. The point of the work is to get knowledges of motivation to moving activities of younger children according to children and their parents. Based on this surveys to compare motivation to moving activities of pupils in the 1st and 4th classroom in town's and village's schools in region. I want to get imagination of children doing sport regularly and irregularly and find out what motivate them to move. What motivation do the parents use to support their children in moving activity. Find out if there is a different motivation of parents to pupil in the 1st a 4th classroom in the town and in the village. Analysis of Physical Activities of Children at Primary School in the Selected Region

This work is focused on studying the outside-school physical activities of children visiting the 4th and 5th grades of primary school in Prague 9. It examines the children's relationship to physical activities. Through the survey I presented to ground school children, the work discovers if they do some sport activities, how they spend their free time, how their family influences their physical activities and if they take part in one-time physical activities events. Last but not least the work studies the children's view on the benefits of physical excercises.

1 Abstrakt v angličtině The target of my work is to prove the functionality of the composed programme developing the take-off skills in children of early school age. The work comprises of 24 instruction sheets of work out, which may be used in lessons of physical education. This instruction set compiles of initial warm up, dynamic stretching, muscle and strength building, and finally practise. All work out phases are adjusted to children of early school age. The work out was piloted by the experimental group of 5th graders of one Prague elementary school. The data was collected twice a week for the period of three months. The indicator of the successful performance was the results of motor skill test of long jump with both legs. All the data has been collected by gathering and meassuring of childrens' weight, height, and performance. Each tested child performed the long jump three times and the best performance was selected. For the period of three months the experimental group of children was following the designed work out in order to improve their take-off skills. Contrary, the children in the second peer group followed the regular instruction of their form teacher. Preference and Popularity of Individual Sport Activities among Older School - Age and Teenage Children in Kolín

This diploma thesis deals with the topic called "Preferences and Popularity of Individual Sports Branches by Children of Older School and Junior Age in Kolín". In the theoretic part I focused on definition of the main terms which occur in the name of the thesis as preferences, popularity, sports branch, children of older school age and children of junior age. Discovered data were processed on the basis of quantitative method via questionnaire survey and the evaluation was carried out via spreadsheet and statistical methods. The performed survey answered the stated survey questions from which emerged that children of older school age are more interested in performance sport. The most often performance sports done are football and dancing by both groups of the respondents. Further, girls would not change performance sport for their favourite one. Junior age children would like to do their favourite sport at performance level. Popularity of physical education does not vary by children doing sport for leisure or performance. The thesis is focused on mapping of sport activities and physical education in Uherské Hradiště from its beginnings till present. The theoretical part deals with individual sport lines from historical perspective. Moreover, we concentrated on popular personalities of sport in Uherské Hradiště. Each personality is analyzed on the basis of his or her sporting development and achivements. The reasearch part of the thesis is focused on variety of sports that people do on regular and seasonal basis. Finally, the discussion emphasizes the benefits of this thesis in terms of its unique historical complete overview of sports in Uherské Hradiště. Modern training equipmens for ice hockey

Title of work: Modern training equipmens for ice hockey Goal of work: Using standardized interviews to determine the frequency of use of modern hockey equipment abroad, then through a questionnaire survey, the frequency and the current status of the use of modern hockey equipment for ice hockey players aged 12-13 years in the Czech Republic. According to the findings recommend examples of training exercises that are suitable for the development of skills for players to prepare for the ice and off the ice. Method: Observation, indirect observation, document analysis, questionnaire survey, data analysis, standardized interview. Results: The results of the thesis we have shown that the frequency and condition using modern training aids for ice hockey in the Czech Republic compared to other countries at a low level. Some tools are used by us all. 40% of those surveyed teams in our equipment in use. On this basis, I recommend examples of training exercises with the use of modern equipment for ice hockey, and I brought a few suggestions on how to properly work with modern tools. TITLE: Comparing conditions for teaching athletics at the elementary schools in towns and villages in the Central Bohemian Region ABSTRACT: The aim of this thesis is to compare the teaching of athletics at the upper primary schools in large towns and villages located in the Central Bohemian. Next aim is to determine, through questionnaires, the education of PE teachers, the distribution of teaching athletics in the 10- month cycle, the most frequently taught athletic disciplines in PE classes and school participation in athletic competitions.
