Client's life at Special Needs Nursing Home and their activation

In my diploma thesis entitled The life of clients of the Home with Special Regime and their activation, I deal with issues related to activation programs for the elderly and their effectiveness. The use of exploratory questions using case studies of clients provides insight into their daily routines and into their leisure time that can be used for activation. The aim of this survey is to seek to expand opportunities to develop current but also future activation. The thesis also looks at the different types of therapies (art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, etc.) that are suitable for use in a Special Needs Home. The thesis also focuses on activation workers who should be provided with motivation to work with clients. Due to the covid crisis, I was forced to focus only on the Home with Special Regime, within the CSOP of Prague 15. The practical part is devoted to a survey to determine the quality of the current activation and to focus on improving future activation programs. The results of the survey show that the clients of the Home are satisfied with the current activation, although there are some reservations from the respondents, which, thanks to the survey and the answers from the survey questions, showed that there is room to start addressing these inequalities.

Research of customer satisfaction in comunity housing services and social services

Key words mental disability, social work services, social care, transformation, basic human needs, case study, interview Abstract The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to compare the types of social residential services, to find out where and under what conditions the basic human needs of clients with mental disabilities are met. In the first chapter, it was crucial to define the concept of mental disability, how mental disability is diagnosed and what basic human needs people with mental disabilities have. It was also important to state which social services clients with mental disabilities use or can use and how is the quality of these services determined. Furthermore, the definition of the care allowance and social benefits of material need and under what conditions the client is entitled to them. In the third and last chapter of the theoretical part, it was necessary to define the concept of transformation of social services and its obstacles. In the fourth chapter it was necessary to determine the importance of the methods used for this thesis. Subsequently, a presentation of the organizations where the survey took place. This was followed by non-structured interviews with two employees of designated social services and a case report of four clients of social services.

Loneliness in the Context of Mental Illness

1 Abstract Published researches show that loneliness negatively affects mental and physical health and occurs across all age groups. However, the area of loneliness has not been sufficiently explored in the Czech context, and there are still not enough studies on a global scale focusing on loneliness in people with mental illness. This work therefore contributes to the opening of this issue from the perspective of social work, which can respond well to the challenges that loneliness brings to the lives of people with mental illness. In the theoretical part I deal with the definition of a group of diagnoses called "serious mental illnesses". A common feature of diagnoses from this group is a serious disruption of normal and social functioning of the individual. Subsequently, I define loneliness, its types and theoretical framework, which provides an insight into the issue. Furthermore, I present the basic researched areas, which are followed by abstracts of studies with focus on loneliness in people with mental illness. The phenomenon of dying from the perspective of hospice care workers and LND workers learers for patients with long term diseases

When choosing a topic for my bachelor's thesis, I chose the title: The phenomenon of dying from the perspective of hospice care workers and employees of hospitals for the long-term sick. This topic is very important to me from several points of view. One of them is that I have been dealing with the topic of the sick, the old, the dying since I was a child, because my whole family works in the field of caring for others. Another impetus for me was to learn better communication with the client and consolidate an overview of the issue. The aim of the work is to compare the care of the dying and the staff between the two facilities. The first is the hospice movement and the second is the LDN department. Furthermore, what are the requirements for caregivers and care in these facilities and, last but not least, the perception of dying and death from their perspective. However, my work turned out differently than intended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which closed the facility selected for my work and made it unable to conduct the interview. Transhumanism and reflexive planning and managing

in English My thesis follows up a potential influence of transhumanism on reflexive planning of people according to a Czech transhumanist community in regard of Person-In-Enviroment theory and postmodern changes in the society. A conceptual part contains chapters about transhumanism, areas that transhumanism focuses on, H+ technologies, potential, community and reflexive planning. In a framework of a qualitative research, my data were gathered using semi-structured interviews on topics reflexivity of an human actor, decision making, work with information, power, existential dimension of life and sorrow and anxiety related to life changes and loses. According to the obtained tata the biggest potential for reflexive planning can be found in examining possibilities of using artificial inteligence, collective consciousness and virtual hedonism, all that with regart to necessity of fight for human rights and democracy and economical breakthrough, wich could result in removal of social inequality.

Illegal work

The thesis called Illegal work deals with illegal employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic, which is in most cases connected with trafficking in human beings for the purpose of forced labor. The first chapter is generally devoted to the definition of the concept of illegal work under Act No. 435/2004 Coll. on Employment and Act No. 262/2006 Coll. Labour Code. The second chapter brings the view of the employee, employer and the state on illegal work. The following third chapter focuses on the sectors in which illegal work occurs most often. The fourth chapter describes the working conditions of employees who are illegally employed and are exploited in every possible way, especially in terms of pay, working conditions or working hours. The fifth chapter contains factors that affect the exploitation of migrant workers and trafficking in human beings for the purpose of forced labor. The sixth chapter is devoted to the control bodies of the state administration, such as the State Labor Inspection Office, the Customs Office, the Labor Office and the Foreign Police. support of independent living as a form of social work field

This diploma thesis was devoted to the topic: Support of independent living as a form of field social work. I focused on the typology of disability, Company DUHA, z.ú. and types of benefits for people with disabilities. I dealt with the differences between independent housing support and sheltered housing and social services for people with disabilities. The main aim of my diploma thesis was to find out, if the clients are satisfied with the service of independent housing support and what are the most benefial aspects of this service. Another goal was to find out how satisfied are the family members of clients using the independent housing support service with this social service. To find out he major goal of the thesis I used the technique of structured interview, which included 8 questions. The thesis is divided into 7 chapters. I consider chapter seven to be the most important, in where I present the results of the survey. It is evident that clients who use the Company DUHA, z.ú and their family members are satisfied with the service.
