Úvod Při výběru tématu pro svou bakalářskou práci jsem zvolila název: Fenomén umírání z pohledu pracovníků hospicové péče a pracovníků Léčeben pro dlouhodobě nemocné. Toto téma je pro mě velmi důležité a to hned z několika hledisek. Jedno z nich je, že se s tématem nemocných, starých, umírajících setkávám už od mala, protože celá má rodina pracuje v oblasti péče o druhé. Další impuls pro mě byl naučit se lepší komunikace s klientem a ucelit si přehled o dané problematice. Cílem práce je porovnání péče o umírající a personál mezi dvěma zařízeními. První z nich je hospicové hnutí a druhým oddělení LDN. Dále, jaké jsou požadavky na pečující a péče o ně v těchto zařízeních a v neposlední řadě, vnímání umírání a smrti z jejich pohledu. Nicméně má práce dopadla jinak, než byla zamýšlena a to z důvodu pandemie COVID-19, který uzavřel zařízení vybrané pro mou práci, a zneschopnil provést daný průzkum vedený metodou rozhovoru. Obsah práce se tedy zabývá nejen teorií umírání, smrti, ale i praktickými věci, do kterých počítám např.: potřeby klientů, otázku víry, jak probíhá pastorační péče a financování hospiců. Mnoho zajímavých témat k zamyšlení, ke kterým bych se vůbec nedostala, kdybych nebyla nucena přehodnotit obsah své práce. Má práce pojednává od procesu umírání až po péči o pečující v pomáhajících profesích.... When choosing a topic for my bachelor's thesis, I chose the title: The phenomenon of dying from the perspective of hospice care workers and employees of hospitals for the long-term sick. This topic is very important to me from several points of view. One of them is that I have been dealing with the topic of the sick, the old, the dying since I was a child, because my whole family works in the field of caring for others. Another impetus for me was to learn better communication with the client and consolidate an overview of the issue. The aim of the work is to compare the care of the dying and the staff between the two facilities. The first is the hospice movement and the second is the LDN department. Furthermore, what are the requirements for caregivers and care in these facilities and, last but not least, the perception of dying and death from their perspective. However, my work turned out differently than intended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which closed the facility selected for my work and made it unable to conduct the interview. The content of the thesis deals not only with the theory of dying, death, but also with practical things, which include, for example: the needs of clients, the question of faith, how pastoral care and financing of hospices.
