Individual ways of work with handicapped young readers

Tématem práce Je charakteristika nejnovějších a nejdúležitějších poznatkú v oblasti práce s handicapovanými dětskými čtenáři ve veřejných lmihovnách. Práce se zaměřuje především na menší lmihovny, tj. na lmihovny sídlící ve městech do 10 000 obyvatel. Jejím cílem je seznámit tyto lmihovny s poznatky, které mohou při práci s těmito dětmi využívat. Práce seznamuje v obecné rovině s věkovými zvláštnostmi dětí předškolního, mladšího školního a středního školního věku. Vymezuje jednotlivé druhy handicapú, přibližuje jejich záldadní charakteristiky a poukazuje na odlišnosti vývoje těchto dětí. Hlavní pozornost je věnována individuálním metodám práce, které lze, s ohledem na daný typ handicapu, při práci s těmito dětmi v knihovnách využívat. Součástí práce je také výběr praktických zkušeností několika větších veřejných knihoven, které lze využít i v menších knihovnách. V závěru práce je poukázáno na problematiku vhodného výběru literatury pro tyto děti. Na nutnost dodržovat určité zásady pro rozvoj čtenářství u těchto dětí, které vyplývající z jednotlivých druhú handicapú.

This thesis deals with the process of europeization and it's influence on the South Moravian region and it's institutions. The scope of this work is to analyze the particular changes, which occurred after Czech republic's admission to European Union and which are coherent with changing programe periods. The first part of thesis deals with determining the term europeanization from technical viewpoint. After that, this information is put into context of a regional unit, i.e. South Moravia, specifically it's activities related to establishing partnerships with other regions, involvement in Bruxelles and also it's organizational structure.

Analysis of Ratings of lifestyle TV shows

The bachelor thesis is based on lifestyle of current population and how media influences it, especially lifestyle TV shows. The first part of the paper defines and explains theorethical terms related to lifestyle, describes an influece of media on lifestyle of population and features selected lifestyle TV programmes screened in Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis is made by an analyse of ratings selected TV shows, which were put together on the basis of datas obtained by Association of TV Organizations. I used indicators of share, rating and projection for a method of the analyse of audience ratings. The partial goal of the practical part, based on made questionnaire survey, was to find, how selected TV shows influence or not influence lifestyle of the respondents.

Distribution of Healing Substances with Pseudoephedrine

The thesis is focused on the distribution of medicinal products containing the active ingredient pseudoephedrine. These medicines are misused because of its active substance to produce an addictive methamphetamine (meth). The aim is to monitor the development restrictions associated with those drugs in the past, concern and characterize the current status of this issue. In the thesis, the theoretical knowledge of economics and drug problems. The practical part deals with the historical development of restrictions and evaluation of the status quo.

Elitism in nursing

The topic ``Elitism in nursing{\crqq} was chosen based on the author´s interest in this issue, which is considered very attractive, and tributary to the present time, when nursing in our country is undergoing a revolutionary change. Nurses gain new competences and become partners of physicians, new legislature related to the profession comes into effect continuously, there is an effort to enhance the prestige of nurses and thereby to increase their status in the eyes of both the medical and general public. As mentioned above, the entire field of nursing, the nursing education system and the nursing profession in our country has been undergoing a fundamental transformation for some time, which places high demands on information, lifelong learning, free access to the latest information on the course of events not only in our country but especially on the international professional scene. Nursing is a field that has multiple layers - from basic nursing care, which is within the competence of nurses, to a specialized nursing and superspecialized care, which requires thanks to advances in nursing science the highest possible level of education. To define the elite of the nursing profession, it is necessary to specify the elite as an exclusive social group. Through this study the author tried to describe the issue of elitism in nursing in a comprehensive form. The objective was to briefly characterize the current situation in terms of the relationship between different groups of nurses and also debate over the question: "What does it take to be a nurse?" Is it the knowledge of an intricate technique or empathic wiping sweat from a patient´s forehead? The new century makes the nurse think about the concept of extended roles in nursing, which should help elevate social status of the profession. A negative feature is that a nurse has been detracted from the kind of work for which she had become a nurse - the nursing care of a patient and the care of basic biological needs of a patient. Due to this aspect, a lot of nurses believe that enhancing the prestige of the nursing profession is not compatible with the term ``menial{\crqq} job relating to nursing. The research outcomes showed that in Czech nursing, there is a status called elitism, and that there are disciplines perceived as exclusive, the relationship between professionalization and elitism was also proved. The research survey noted a big shift in improving communication between nurses and patients compared to the past years, and the author hopes that also a better communication between nurses will contribute to the improvement of relations on both sides, both the exclusive and the so-called common, because a truly elite - exceptional nurse is the one who combines education with a good character.

The analysis results from the empirical findings, the insufficiencies, strengths and weaknesses of the entire process are described later in accordance with the analysis. Furthermore, the suggestions for process improvements are proposed.
