Analysis of the organizational culture of a manufacturing company

The Master's Thesis is aimed to analyse the organizational culture of a manufacturing company in order to provide sufficient materials for the following decision making of the executive director of the company in terms of its future course. Each method was used while taking into consideration to cover both qualitative and quantitative research approach due to multidimensional character of the studied phenomena. The current state of the topic is included in the thesis. The combination of Denison Organizational Culture Survey and group interview based on Edgar H. Schein was newly applied during the research which may contribute to practitioners considering a similar analysis in their organizations. Main research findings and recommendations are discussed in the end of the thesis.

The work of Josef Váchal in art education at the elementary school

The thesis deals with the art of the modern Czech painter and graphic artist Josef Váchal and follows up its use in creative activities at primary school. The theoretical part is devoted to a detailed analysis of Váchal artistic development and brief psychological study of his personality. It also reflects the creation of other artists, whose artistic expression tends to be close to Váchal works. In fine the thesis follows the possibilities of use of artistic work in art education at the elementary school. The practical part introduce the art education project, inspired by works of Josef Váchal, and documents its complex realization at the elementrary school in Borové Lady with the final reflection.

The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is concerned with the theory of motivation and employee benefits. The practical part describes particular employee benefits in company HOCHTIEF CZ and includes analysis of employee's satisfaction with an offer of employee benefits.

Modern Woman in the Industrialization Period

This thesis deals with an analysis of chosen books written by a famous German writer Thedor Fontane. Particularly, there are three main books I have chosen for my analysis ? Desire, Torment, Effie Briest and L?Adultera. There is a theoretical part at the beginning of my thesis. I have focused on dealing with specialized foundation. This represents later a basic part for a following analysis in the second, practical part. The second part, the analysis of books, includes general information about the book, brief content of a book and attributes of main characters. It is followed by comparison of historical reality with reality shown in the book. At the end of the whole thesis, there is the third part ? comparison of all three novels, generally as well as from the point of view of the main characters and the historical fidelity of books.

The Influence of Coaching on Leadership of Teams

The first part is dedicated to organization of available information about coaching to the clear structure. It defines that technique and its styles. It also describes its main instruments (function of questions, active listening, feedback, relationship between coach and coachee) and models (particularly The GROW). Furthermore, it covers also explanation of the notion leadership role and development of teams. The second part is focused on analysis of current state of the local committee AIESEC Praha. It serves as the base for proposal of solution. In the last part, there are presented concrete possibilities of the coaching implementation in the committee. The final suggestion takes into consideration its reality and future plans. For that reason, the recommendation of using basic coaching principles prevails over its direct introduction as effective style of leadership.

Teoreticko-metodologická část diplomové práce obsahuje popis jednotlivých metod finanční analýza a její postupy výpočtu. Aplikační část zachycuje charakteristiku prádelny a čistírny Vodňany. Na základě dostupných dat byl proveden rozbor vhodnosti jednotlivých metod finanční analýzy pro tuto firmu. Provedení finanční analýza firmy Prádelny a čistírny Vodňany a to analýzy horizontální, vertikální a poměrové. Následně pak závěrečné zhodnocení získaných výsledků z provedených analýz a vyvození závěru a doporučení pro firmu do budoucnosti.
