In the theoretical part of the thesis, there will be discussed concepts such as business, businessman, and legal forms of business. Also there will be characterized business plan and its various components. The practical part is based on the theoretical part, where we will describe specific parts of a business plan to create a comprehensive and transparent plan to establish cafe Home.

Bachelor's thesis deals with communication problems that may occur between hotel staff and a guest. Theoretical part is focused on explaining of terms communication, hotel staff and hotel guest and following division into categories. Furthermore, theoretical part includes general rules of proper communication, separately for personal, telephone, written and intercultural communication. Practical part is dedicated to particular crisis situations that may occur in the hotel, their possible proper solution and questionnaire prepared for receptionists.
Financial analysis of gastronomic facility

The main purpose of bachelor thesis named "Financial analysis of gastronomic facility" is to execute the financial analysis of limited company in years 2011--2013. The main focus is on elementary method and analysis of financial ratios. The theoretical part of this thesis contains definition of fundamental terms and financial analysis. Firstly the main part contains overall analysis of the company, secondly the financial ratios will be analysed on the basis of financial statements from three fiscal periods. Afterwards the results of analysis will be interpreted. At the end I am going to suggest improvements which can improve the indexes and these improvements can lead to better financial performance of the limited company. This is the main goal of this bachelor thesis.
Financial analysis of hotel

This Master's thesis presents the external financial analysis of the chosen hotel. The main aim of this thesis is both to determine the current financial situation, and evaluate the dependency of the development from fluctuation in the macroeconomic environment. The first chapter based on professional literature depicts that financial analysis is important business management tool and explains the basic methods of analysis. Practical part specifies the economic situation of the hotel, especially from its relevant market share view. Subsequently the financial analysis (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) and financial gap analysis follows. The core of the thesis is ratio analysis of liquidity indicators, long-term financial balance, profitability and activity. Kralicek quick test and bankruptcy model IN05 provides the summary view on company's financial health. At the conclusion, company's major strengths and weaknesses are highlighted altogether with the future development outline and presentation of proposals solving the identified deficiencies.
The impact of social media and hotel review sites on the quality of services in selected hotel.

The aim of the thesis is to determine influence of social media and hotel review sites on quality of services of Louren Hotel **** in Prague and their major role in the marketing activities of the hotel. The first part deals with these media in general, their benefits, potential risks and advice, how to use them in practice. The second part examines the use of these media in selected hotel. Research of perception of hotel review sites amoung costumers of Hotel Louren is also part of the work. The research was processed on the basis of a questionnaire survey. The aim of the investigation was to determine whether the hotel guests follow reviews and what meaning it has for them. This work shows a position of social media and review sites in the current hotel marketing and their possible impact on the improvement of services in the hotel.
Mobile applications in the hotel industry

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to map the field of mobile applications which are related to the tourism industry, primarily to the hotel industry. The beginning of the work is focused on the current position of mobile technologies and m-Tourism. On the basis of the own research, the categorization of current applications related to the tourism industry was created. Thanks to the research it was possible to set up a summary of characteristics which are included in the mobile applications connected to the hotel industry. The main contribution consists of the use of obtained information for a creation of a project for a mobile application for the chain of Clarion Hotels in the Czech Republic. This project will be used as a base in the real development of this application.
Impacts of EU visa policy on incoming of Czech republic

The main purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the impacts of EU visa policy on incoming of Czech republic. For achieving this main purpose there were also defined sub-goals, which include comparison of the indicators of inbound tourism in Czech republic before and after joining Schengen Area and assessment of economic impact of applied EU visa policy on Czech republic. The diploma thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first three chapters introduce the theoretical overview of basic terms in the international tourism, statistical monitoring of tourism and visa policy. The next part of the thesis is devoted to analyzing the influence of EU visa policy on selected countries whose nationals require visas to EU. The final chapter appraises the results and brings the forecast of the situation without existence of common visa policy.
The influence of congress tourism on hospitality in Prague

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the influence of congress tourism on hospitality in Prague. The work aims to determine how much is the congress tourism important for hotels and if they can survive without it. The partial aims are then evaluation of the current situation of congress tourism in Prague by statistics, further evaluation of the situation and analysis of the selected hotel with an annual interval. Last but not least finding the factors upon which firms base their decisions when selecting event at the hotel. The last chapter deals with proposals to improve the situation in hotels.
Internet reservation systems of a particular lodging facility and their importance

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of internet reservation systems of a particular lodging facility. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the travel market, categorizes internet reservation systems and talks about distribution channel of lodging capacities. The analytical part describes the selected lodging facility and identifies the internet reservation systems that it uses. The portfolio of internet reservation systems is evaluated and it is determined, whether its composition is optimal. In conclusion, several ways to improve the sales and marketing strategies of the lodging facilities and changes in it's portfolio are suggested.
The Usage of Travel Blogs As Data Sources of Tourism Market

The thesis is dealing with usage options of travel blogs as data sources of tourism market. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part (theory) is consisted of 2 chapters. The first chapter talks about marketing and the second chapter comprises an introduction to the theory of information and the blogging. A travel blogger's profile was created via questionnaires in the first chapter of the practical part. Travel blogs, expat blogs, travel vlogs and travel bloggers' profiles on Twitter were analysed in the next chapter of the practical part. Via questionnaires and the results of the analysis made in the previous chapter, the last chapter evaluates the current position of travel blogs as a source of information in organisations in tourism.
