Network Game: Destroy the Submarine
Jašek, Petr ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis describes development of a simple network computer game. This thesis describes basic scheme of computer game development. Also an analysis of various implementation of network is made in this thesis. The output of this work is a computer program written in the C++ language. For implementation of the network the Boost 1.50.0 library was used. Network communication was implemented as client-server architecture with usage of the UDP protocol. For implementation of graphics and sound, the Allegro 5.0.7 library was used.
Passive sensors for detecting instantaneous stress and strain values
Jašek, Petr ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Technical measurements are an indispensable source of information in the technical fields. Due to the computer processing it is necessary an electrical signal as the output of the sensor. The field of measuring techniques of non-electrical quantities comprises a wide range of various sensors. Passive sensors represent an important group, into which resistive, inductive, capacitive, magnetic and ionization sensors are arranged. Basic findings of measurement are presented, and particular kinds of sensors, their functional principles, application examples and evaluation of their properties are described in the thesis.
Písty vznětových motorů osobních vozidel
Jašek, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with a piston group of diesel engines. It mainly focuses on diesel engines. Then a design calculation of the piston for the diesel engine is carried out and the subsequent evaluation of the calculations.
Creation of Logistics Concept in a Business Organization with International Impact
Fojtíčková, Petra ; Ing.Petr Jašek (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the logistics concept in a selected company with a focus on distribution channels in international trade. The theoretical part of the work is focused on clarifying the concepts that are related to the issue. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of distribution with a focus on distribution channels to the individual countries in which it operates. In the last part of the work, based on the obtained and analyzed data, own proposals for solving the identified shortcomings are proposed.

The thesis describes online education essentials. It further deals with analysis, design and implementation of selected application. The system is realized as a web application.
The influence of PVD coating on tool life of cutting inserts during face milling
Jašek, Petr ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is aimed on durability of PVD and CVD coatings for symmetrical face milling. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of cemented carbides, milling technology and the characteristics of the coating methods. The experimental part describes the machine tool, used tools, workpiece material and cutting conditions. The aim of the work was to measure the cutting forces and tool wear during the milling. Based on experiment, it is clear that the PVD coatings with nano-layers achieves to the longer life in comparison with others and generally, that the using of coatings leads to reduction of cutting powers and lifetime was increased.
Protection of owl species living on the territory of the Czech Republic in international, EU and national European law
Jašek, Petr ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Žákovská, Karolina (referee)
Protection of owl species living on the territory of the Czech Republic in international, EU and national European law Abstract There are ten species of owls in the territory of the Czech Republic. The once widespread order of carnivorous birds has faced unprecedented pressures as result of landscape change and civilizational demands in recent decades, as a result of which their European populations are shrinking. For these reasons, a need has risen to protect owls at the level of individual national legal systems, at the level of EU legislation and in the sphere of international conventions. In the first part of this thesis, the biological specifications of owls as well as their ecological and agricultural importance are explained. The thesis also follows the legal mechanisms, the overall level of legal protection of owls and the application of standards for the protection of owls in international law, European Union law and nationals' law, all of which is reserved for the second part of the thesis. The international legal protection of owls is emphasized due to the large fluctuation of bird species across countries and continents. On the other hand, the law of the European Union, on the other hand, brings an unprecedentedly successful model of unification of national legal systems in the joint regulation...

Vliv zatížení vznětového motoru na stálost výkonu
Jašek, Petr
The diploma thesis deals with measurement of performance stability. The theory of internal combustion engines is described in the introduction. It deals with energy conversion, heat balance and combustion engine efficiency. It is shown in details the analysis of the influence of operational parameters on performance stability, in particular combustion air parameters, such as the purity, weight, temperature, pressure and humidity of the intake air. Another part of the thesis is focused on the methodology of measurement on the cylindrical dynamometer, where the preparation and course of measurement is described. The preparation and measurement was implemented on a second generation Škoda Superb with a 1968 cm3 diesel engine with a Common-Rail injection moulding system. First the measurement was done by a dynamic method and then by a static method at full load at different speeds. At each speed level, the measurements were made twice. Firstly, the air conditioning was switched off and secondly the air conditioning was switched on. All possible parameters were read from the on-board car and recorded. Final part of the thesis deals with the processing and evaluation of these measured data during the experiment. Primarily, the air parameters, cooling fluids, are analysed depending on the engine performance.
