Hrdina, Jan ; Doubek, David (advisor) ; Levínská, Markéta (referee)
This dissertation deal with developmental types of boys in the fourth grade of basic school. It is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part I am dealing with possible reasons of making a relations between boys, focused on social psychology, socio-culture and psychological aspekt. In empirical part, which is based on my own observation of school class, the structure of relations between boys is completely described. The goal of empirical part is to describe boys as individuals and according to their appearances, interests, family relations and games, which boys like to play in school class, divided them into several groups. Games in school class are mentioned in separate paragraph. According to my own observation four groups of boys were established. Each group has typical character and their members have specific interests and own attitude to class. These groups were created because of likings between boys, similar attributes of boys and attitudes of boys to school. These results are elaborated in the conclusion of my dissertation.
Papal indulgence charters in Central Europe under the pontificate of Boniface IX (1389-1404). A comparative study
Hrdina, Jan ; Hledíková, Zdenka (advisor) ; Hlaváček, Ivan (referee) ; Šmahel, František (referee)
The goal of the dissertation i s to understand the agency of the Roman pontificate in Centra! Europe during the Great Schism (1378-1415/17), with a special focus on the papacy of Boniface IX (1389-1404). In order to analyze this question, I used indulgence charters, one of the more typ i cal kind of documents produced by the papal office. Unlike his predecessors as well as immediate successors, Boniface IX issued indulgence charters to ecclesiastical institutions in the Roman obedience in truly mass quantities. My analysis was based on the study of approximately 1,660 individua! cop i es in secretarial registers of the Vatican Archive, Registra Lateranensia, and on approx. 260 extant copies in the archives of recipients. Art of the court of Czech and French sovereigns 1370-1420 - the social and historical background (differences and parallels)
Nussbergerová, Lucie ; Hrdina, Jan (referee) ; Nejedlý, Martin (advisor)
At the turn of 14th and 15th century, France and the Kingdom of Bohemia both faced very similar situation: progressive failure of royal authority against the background of sublimity and artistic prosperity in service of royal and aristocratic representation. Regarding Bohemia, this period is adherent to the reign of Wenceslas IV. (1378-1419), the son of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. His dynasty was related with French kings, during this period it was Charles VI. (1380-1422), called Charles the Mad. The end of the 14th century was a time of insecurity and fear, especially when both of the main powers, secular and spiritual, had been continually weakened. Western Christianity was divided between two, and later even among three popes, residents in Rome, A vignon and Pisa (since 1409). The main task for the kings was to end this situation and to deci de which of these popes was the only one who had been legaly elected. This question was crucial for France and the Holy Roman Empire and it was also the main difficulty in their mutual political relations. Each kingdom also had problems with their own political situation: in France the war with England and subsequent civil war among the members of the royal family. In Bohemia it was the relation with the Holy Roman Empire, because Wenceslas IV. inherited the...
The Kingdom of Bohemia and the dynasty of Luxembourg in the French chronicles of the 14th century
Lošťáková, Kateřina ; Hrdina, Jan (referee) ; Nejedlý, Martin (advisor)
Since the beginning of the fourteenth century the Czech kings and their kingdom started to make significant appearance in the French chronicles. The sudden interest of contemporary historians was sparked mainly by the ascension of the Luxembourgian dynasty to the Czech throne in 1310. The relations that existed for a long time between France and Luxembourg were thus transfered to Bohemia, who se young king John the Blind soon became a French ally in the ongoing conflict with England. To the history of the Warfare, which is traditionally called the Hundred Years War, are devoted also the works of two of the most important late-medieval writers, Jean le Bel of Liege and Jean Froissart of Valenciennes. Modem historians have had for a long time a tendency to dismiss their chronic1es (Froissart' s in particular) as historically inaccurate and thus unreliable sources. But such a refusal implies a serious misunderstanding of both authors' intention, for their main goal was not to precisely narrate the facts but rather to adjust them to better suit their idealised image of social order. Bearing that in mind we can clearly see that the presence of Czech kings in Froissart's and le Bel's chronicles does not generally reflect their real deeds, but rather the symbo1ic part they play to enhance the glory of the French...
Web Application for Managing Notes
Hrdina, Jan ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with design and implementation of a web application for managing tree-structured notes. Its aim is to fulfill the true potential of using computers in this area. It tries to achieve this goal using (1) multiple ways of viewing and editing one data, (2) focusing the data-model primarily on the meaning of stored information instead of appearance and (3) implementing tools for interactive work with text (e.g. attaching multimedia). Apart from the application design itself, the text briefly goes through modern trends in web applications development, it defines the basic concepts in relation to existing tools for managing notes and outlines wide possibilities of further development. The application itself was implemented using technologies such as Polymer, TypeScript or Firebase.

Analysis of the impact of membership in Comecon on Czechoslovak foreign trade in the years 1949-1959
Hrdina, Jan ; Skřivan, Aleš (advisor) ; Stellner, František (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (Comecon) and its effects on the Czechoslovak foreign trade in the years 1949-1959. The work is mainly focused on changes in territorial and commodity structure of Czechoslovak foreign trade on the background of development of the Comecon. Partly also mentions impacts on associated industrial production. During this period, Czechoslovakia underwent the most extensive changes due to rebuilding the economy, which was directly associated with the Comecon and its effects on foreign trade. Through the Comecon, Czechoslovakia was forced to accept the role of supplier of other member states of products of engineering industry. Czechoslovakia thus helped with the industrialization of less developed countries. The work also points to the dominant role of the Soviet Union in Comecon, and how could politicize its activities to promote their political goals. The intention is also to outline the work of foreign trade in the Soviet model from theoretical point of view. The aim is therefore to assess the consequences of membership in the Comecon to Czechoslovak foreign trade and its functioning in the Soviet model based on planning and centralization.
The history of technics in technical subjects education
HRDINA, Jan
In my bachelor thesis I focused on the history and development of the domestic car factory Škoda Auto Mladá Boleslav, which belongs to the most famous Czech manufacturing companies. I compared the current Octavia model with the 1959 model. The aim of this comparison was the familiarization of students with the development of cars and to motivate them to use special books and textbooks. In the practical part I described the realization of an excursion and its assessment. I included a questionnaire which I used to find out the benefits of the excursion for the students. The aim of the thesis is to broaden the knowledge of students of Car mechanic and Autotronic branches and to insert new items into the school educational programme.
