The Thinking of Friedrich Nietzsche
Lukeš, Petr ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
The thesis discusses the ideas of eternal recurrence and will to power, first separately, as the basic motives of Nietzsche's thinking, and subsequently deals with their internal relation to the fundamental concept of "the Overman" (der Übermensch) in which these two ideas culminate. Within the context of this theme, the thesis not only outlines the very essence of Nietzsche's thought process, but also tries to open the theme of a deeper dialogue between contemporary man and his philosophy. Nietzsche's work undoubtedly leads us to the understanding of our own intellectual space in which we move.
Phenomenology and daseinsanalysis
Zemánková, Markéta ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
Phenomenology has been established by Edmund Husserl, who refused the adoption of methods from naturally oriented sciences to philosophy, which, being the highest of all sciences, paradoxically seemed absolutely unscientific to Husserl. Edmund Husserl served as an inspiration for his most famous disciple, Martin Heidegger, who developed fundamental ontology, and thus provided a brand new and essential view of man and human existence in general. His concept of man gave rise to a psychotherapeutic approach - daseinsanalysis, which has been created mainly by Medard Boss, with contribution from Martin Heidegger himself.
Problem of Woman's Nature
Průšková, Adéla ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Rybák, David (referee)
The main subject of this thesis is feminine nature. The goal is to capture the essence of womanhood in the entirety of the world. There is a difference between the experience of a woman's life and the world around her. We must therefore ask how the world around us is set up, what nature itself entails, how the society views a woman and how a woman views herself. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the nature according to two of the most important thinkers of antiquity: Plato and Aristotle. The second section examines the nature and essence of womanhood as viewed by the French philosopher Simone de Beauvoir. In the final part, we discuss some of the phenomena related to the issue of womanhood nowadays, such as physicality, dignity, human culture and responsibility. The whole work shows that it is essential for us to demand freedom of self-realization which along with the need for cooperation of both genders in establishing basic rules of the world that men and women inhabit together, provides for women to self-realize freely in harmony with their own experience of the world. Keywords woman, nature, physis, freedom, the wholeness of the world, man's world, woman's world, transcendence

To the problem of time
Zlatoš, Michal ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
The thesis "To the problem of time" considers concepts of understanding of the problem of time and temporality on selected authors throughout history. It was revealed in the work that even Aristotle had some notion of temporality, and not only his time counted within movement. However this notion is fragmental thus it required a more complex explanation of his viewpoints. Augustine's switch of perspective brought deeper understanding of human temporality within the connection of the soul to the transcendental God. Further development of this idea made Husserl's analysis of time-consciousness and after him Heidegger, who developed Husserl's concept and founded his own concept on the authenticity based on the consciousness of individual being's irreversible finiteness. Similarly, the concepts of Bergson and Sartre developed the idea of time consciousness, though they differed on some stresses, e.g. the importance of the future. Peirce's position, brought into discussion, showed some similar features despite the different origins to the concept of Husserl's. The cross-section of science and philosophy exposed in Whitehead's concept pointed out the introduction of an observer into the scientific understanding of time and thus denial of the "absolute time" on behalf of dynamicity of the continual...
Heidegger's daseinsanalysis and its importance
Vitvar, Bohumil ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Rybák, David (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the Heidegger's daseinsanalysis. I focus in particular on a description of its roots and basics, that it originates from. Furthemore I refer to its philosophical fundament and its practical application to a psychotherapy, where it helps patients to grasp their lost life balance and orientation. I choose this topic because it is related to my bachelor's thesis, that is named "Sense of life and current human" . The daseinsanalysis also discusses the position of the human in the world and his being and searching of the life's meaning. In the contemporary global world full of disagreements and conflicts and the hectic pace of modern life, more and more people deal with the psychological or neurotic problems, more and more people search for their place in the world. Thanks to their inability to deal with these problems by their own strengths, they subsequently seek the help of psychologists. There the daseinsanalysis comes into play in the form of an individual or a group therapy. I reckon Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger, whose philosophical theories helped to create roots for the development of the daseinsanalysis, among the most influential representatives of the daseinsanalysis's development. Next I would like to mention Ludwig Binswanger, Medard Boss...
Nietzche and the Present Day
Koláček, Václav ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
The first part of this thesis makes the task to illuminate Nietzsche 's basic concepts, as is "The Will of Power", "Superman" and The Eternal Return" to be understood as the most directly substance of his basic filosophic views. This understanding is a necessary assumption for the second part. Its intention is refer the connection of Nietzsche with this age. It opens question for ethos. The author talks about ontologic diference and its connection in relation to a man of today in the third part. The ethos at thinker do not find it finally, and so it forges to fourth part to only possible relevant step forward. Though it is finding etics in source of every man as background from postmodern 's nihilism. The aim of the thesis is to show not only that Niezzsche destroyed ethical values. These values were inculcated by institutions of power for a long time. By this destroying, he created the bridge to finding himself. It is task and postmodern still does not mature to it, but environment has already been ready here.
Polis between Plato's and Aristotle's philosofy
Nikl, Lukáš ; Milko, Pavel (advisor) ; Hogenová, Anna (referee)
In my work I tried to expain the determinations and methods of the main filosophical thoughts of Plato and Aristotle. Both of them lived in hard times of ancient Greece, in different crisis of polis, and that had signifiantly influenced their thinking, their lives, their work. Although the times has changed, between their appearance and the methods of thinking also. Of course we can find a mythical core in both philosophies, but the diference between Platoʼs round embrace of universe with using the combination of methods of thinking of those times on the one side, and the Aristotleʼs scientific methods based in his specific methaphysics, is significant for the changes, which appeared. Both of them tries to reform the political, social, and onthological thinking. But each of them are trying to change different one. Plato the thinking in the centre of polis suffering under the crisis of elites, and Aristotle the polis during the Makedonian invasion. Of course we can not use their models of thinking in contempomparary philosophy as such, but we can find various contemporary themes in which the knowledge of their thinking would be useful.
Phenomenon of free time
Lopour, Milan ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
The thesis "The Phenomenon of Free Time" focuses mainly on grasping free time as a phenomenon by analyzing the related terms in the work of Karl Marx and in the work of Emmanuel Lévinas. The introductory section is therefore devoted to a selection of philosophical questioning about the nature of time. Then I focus on analyzing the works of Karl Marx, especially in the light of the terms work, working hours and free time. In the chapter "Time in Phenomenology", I focus on the difference between the Aristotle's conception of time and the phenomenological conception of time. In this relation, I come mainly from the ideas of Edmund Husserl, Martin Heidegger, Jan Patočka and Emmanuel Lévinas. In the next section, I analyze the work of Emmanuel Lévinas and focus on the terms existence, time, work and other related terms. In the next chapter, I try to capture the tension of onticity and ontology of Marx and Lévinas and thus reach the phenomenon of free time as an ontological problem. I present this conception of the problem of the phenomenon of free time in the conclusion.
