Utilization of hydrogen cyanide as an absorption media for laser spectroscopy

The main goal of our investigation is the use of hydrogen cyanide (concretely isotope H13C14N) as absorption medium for realisation of etalon of optical frequency. The advantage of HCN over typically used acetylene (isotopes 13C2H2 and 12C2H2) is the better availability and also the wider absorption spectrum in the 1550 nm wavelength band (telecommunication band). The hyperfine transitions in HCN were investigated in the 90‘, but because of technological limitations the measured data are not as precise as the data for C2H2. We aim on use of more developed methods (saturated absorption spectroscopy, optical frequency lock, beat-note against the optical frequency comb) for the measurement of more precise data of absorption lines of HCN. Our other goals will be to obtain the data enough precise to allow the use of them in Mise en pratique.

Comparison of quantification strategies in Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

The aim of the submitted work is a comparison of methods of quantitative analysis used in laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). The principles of LIBS method are explained at first, followed by a research of the most often used methods of quantitative analysis. The next part provides their description enabling a better comprehension and an eventual use of the methods in practice. Finally, the chosen methods are used to process data from the real experiment and the results are compared.

Social trading from the perspective of soft systems methodology

This diploma thesis deals with problems in the field of eToro social trading community. The aim is to analyze and outline solutions to specific problems. To solve selected problems, it is used Soft Systems Methodology by Peter Checkland. In the first part, important concepts are theoretically defined as well as a virtual social trading community is defined as a soft system for the purpose of the thesis. The second part describes the Soft Systems Methodology. In the third practical part, two problems of the eToro community are analyzed. The problems were selected by community members with a questionnaire. For each of these problems is performed single iteration of methodology cycle. The final part evaluates the use of methodology in the field of social trading communities in general and describes the advantages and problems of its application.

Types of civil procedure

This thesis deals with types of civil procedure and it is divided into six parts. The first part generally focuses on civil procedure, definition of its subject and its relation to substantive law. There is also described its development since era of ancient Rome till presence. The second chapter focuses on the most important type of civil procedure, which is civil trial proceedings, that is divided into contentious and non- contentious proceedings. At first there is described contentious procedure aiming on its basic principles, goal, rights and obligations of participants and its procedure. The part devoted to non-contentious procedure contains common and different characteristics with contentious procedure, basic principles, specification of participants, general procedure and description of chosen types of non-contentious procedure. Based on its continuity the third chapter is dedicated to enforcement procedure. The chapter is subdivided to parts focused on writ of execution, general procedure and possible ways of its end. Next chapter's subjects are conciliation procedure, preliminary injunction and securing of evidence. The Czechoslovak legionnaires in the Far East

This thesis deals with the exploits of Czechoslovak army in Russia towards the end of the First World War. In 1918 it was transferred from the theatre of war in European Russia to the Far East via Siberia and from there by the A11ied navies to Europe, according to the A11ies plans to use them to strengthen the war against the Germans on the Western front. It deals in particular with the so called Vladivostok group, the avant-garde of the Czechoslovak army, which, though bound for France, returned to Siberia in order to reinforce the other Czechoslovak units locked in conflict with the Bolsheviks for control of the Trans-Siberian railway. The author of this thesis, who is a sinologist, therefore focuses his attention on the period of transportation along the Chinese Eastern Railway in the second half of 1918. This involves an analysis and clarification of the very complex situation when the Czechoslovak legionnaires were crossing Chinese territory and their controversial employment in the Allied intervention against Soviet Russia, which was manipulated by the Japanese army to further its expansionist aims in the Far East.

The bachelor thesis Software Support of the Financial Analysis of the Company deals with the financial situation of the enterprise using the produced software for calculating the financial analysis. Its theoretical part describes the basic methods of financial analysis, the financial indexes, the background of the language Visual Basic. The second part deals with the programme whose backbone is created by Excel and Microsoft Visual Basic. In the following part of the thesis the financial analysis of a concrete company was carried out, focussing on significant financial characteristics.

The social network will bring together differently oriented artists and will provide them the opportunity to present their art work in digital form. The aim is to create a methodological guide, how to start with creating a family tree and how to create it. In the first part, important concepts are theoretically defined as well as methods for looking up necessary information. The second part describes the procedure for creating a family tree. The final section summarizes how to proceed during the creation of family tree and what to avoid.
