The Analysis of the Offer of Travel Agencies in View of the Chosen Destination

The dissertation The Analysis of the Offer of Travel Agencies in View of the Chosen Destination is aimed at the comparison and evaluation of the offer of chosen travel agencies. In particular terms the topic is a comparison of ski tours to Italian Dolomites. The goal was to judge whether an offer of Czech travel agencies tours is sufficient on the Czech market. The first chapter explains basic terms concerning tourism. Then the characteristics of the destination Dolomites and the analysis of particular travel agencies follow. The last chapter offers the comparison of offers from the point of view of several criteria. On the basis of discovered data the introductory hypothesis was confirmed, respectively that the offer of ski tours on the Czech market is sufficient.
Analysis of supply of travel agency Fischer

The thesis is focused on an analysis of supply of travel agency Fischer. The opening part is based on theoretical conception, where the most important basic terms are defined. It includes the definitions of basic terms from the tourism industry including travel agency, tourist, holiday package, the term "supply of tourism" and "supply of travel agency". The main part includes the supply analysis which contains the destinations, forms of transport, food and beverage services and also the specific services supply typical especially for travel agency Fischer. In the last part, the whole supply of the travel agency is evaluated.
Analysis of promotion of travel agency

Bachelor thesis is dedicated to the promotion of the travel agency Fischer. First, the basic terms are specified. The term "tourism" is defined, then the difference between travel agency and travel agent is specified. The term "marketing" is also discussed in the bachelor thesis. The next chapter belongs to the practical part of this thesis. The profile of travel agency Fischer, its development and services offered are described. The last chapter is devoted to the analysis of promotion, all the promotional methods are defined and the last part of this chapter includes the summary and the evaluation.
Natural potential, its conservation and possible uses in tourism in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the natural potential of the Czech Republic, its conservation and possible uses in tourism. Firstly, the animate and inanimate nature is characterised, the conservation of nature and landscape on the state and international level follows. The types of tourism, which primarily use natural surroundings to their realisation, are defined in the next part. The most important of them are described in the separated subchapters. Also the conflict between using the natural potential and conservation of nature is outlined and the restrictions of carrying on various touristic activities, arised from a legislation, are mentioned. The natural potential and its uses is afterward presented from the point of view of tourist regions. In conclusion, the thesis tries to find a compromise between conservation of nature and its uses in tourism and introduces the types of tourism, which respect the principles of sustainable development.
Impact of free tour guide services in Prague (Free Tours) on the tourism.

This bachelor work deals with the impact of free tour guide services in Prague (Free Tours)on tourism. It covers the origins of offering free tour guide services in Prague (Free Tours) and their effects on tourism. Some of these effects include a reduction in the number of tourists, the diffusion of vague and inaccurate information about Prague and Czech Republic, a reduction of tourism-related income for the country, an increase in the unemployment rate and a reduction of quality services in the tourism industry. This thesis was enriched by the opinions of certified professionals, Free Tour guides and the author of this thesis, who is also tour guide and have experienced the Free Tours problems. All these stakeholders made proposals to solve the Free Tours inefficiencies.
Development of tourist attractions and tourism products in the CR using fictional literary characters

This bachelor thesis deals with using fictional literary characters in tourism. The first part defines the supply in tourism and the use of this characters abroad, in the field of literary and film tourism. Another section is devoted to the presentation of attractions and products in the Czech Republic. The last chapter summarizes the findings from the field and describes the project of a new product using a fictional literary character.
Package holiday to Netherlands (outgoing tourism)

The main aim of this project is to create such package holiday to Netherlands which has been ordered by a conrete client. Package holiday to Netherlands in this project is primarily focused on exploring cultural, historical and natural attractions of this country. First part of this thesis is a theoretical section that desribes the process of creation of the holiday package by tour operator. People who take part in this package holiday will visit the capital of Netherlands - Amsterdam, they will admire beauties of Keukenhof, the floral park, they will see a process of production of the traditional pottery, the Delft ware and they will visit the cheese market and open-air museum of wind mills in Zaanse Schans.
Marketing strategy of a selected tour operator

The objective of the thesis "Marketing strategy of a selected tour operator" is to get acquainted with the marketing strategy of MILE tour operator aiming to propose possible improvements based on carried analysis. The first part includes general theories of marketing and its specifics in tourism. The second part is the application of this theory into practice, starting with the basic characteristics of MILE tour operator, followed by analysis of its standing in the tourism market including analysis of external and internal environment, analysis of competitors and own questionnaire research. The next part contains analysis of the tour operator's current marketing strategy. The thesis results in concrete suggestions to improve market targeting, setting goals, selecting a marketing strategy and marketing mix.
Comparison of ski resorts in the Czech republic and France

Goal of the thesis has been deep analysis of winter ski resorts in the Czech republic and France and finding an optimal ski resort for a week holiday. Set of criterias important for average czech skier for selection of a resort was designed accordingly to the results of a survey made on sample of czech population. Supplementary goal is to prove a hypothesis that rather than the size of a resort, the quality and scope of services (not only ski-related) really matters.
Analysis of the perception of incomplete prices of travel packages in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with problems of price quoting of travel packages in the Czech Republic. It refers to the process of packaging in the theoretical part, as well to various ways of pricing together with calculation illustration and catalogues price strategy. Furthermore, it shows the difference between a company's and a customer's price perception and informs about the psychological price effect on the final consumer. The important part of this thesis represents the analysis of the current situation of the price quoting of travel packages in the Czech Republic in comparison with the situation abroad. Chapters are oriented to the analysis of the legislation in the field of packaging and price quoting of travel packages, of the praxis of Czech and foreign travel agencies and of taking action of interested institutions to solve this problem. The whole thesis is supplemented with a detailed analysis of the data extracted from the questionnaire.
