Fantastic motives in prose with children's hero by Iva Procházková

I especially devote myself in my dissertation work, whose title is "The fantastic motives in prose with children's hero by Iva Procházková", to the analysis of prose of Iva Procházková that are intentionally designed for children in which the child finds himself in a position the main hero and there are fantastic themes also occuring there. They are namely the following literary works: Wednesday tastes good, Marco and the magic horse, The Owl's song, Vincent goes to Africa, Eliah and the granny from the egg, Rhubarb, where are you? and Mice belong in heaven. but shouldn't stay too long. I allude to the plot, I interpret their meaning. I focus mainly on fantastic motives that occur in them and I am trying to clarify their function in prose with a child hero. I draw attention to the metaphorical (or symbolic) dimensions. Iva Procházková is ranked among the best authors for children and young people who currently we have. Her literary works were not intentionally designed for children but no one completely processed it. I proceed mainly from publications of Svatava Urbanová and Milena Šubrtová, but I also try on my own viewpoints, particularly on issues relating to the fantastic motives. Respecting development specifications in present kindergarten

This diploma thesis focuses on development specification in pre-school children with emphasis on respecting its needs in present kindergarten environment. The thesis observes development specifications and individual needs of present generation of pre- school children. Main aim lies in observation, searching differences and distinctions in individual needs and specific demonstrations of children. The thesis on one hand looks for potential causation of possible phenomenon and on the other looks for possibilities how to fulfil the needs of all children in the present kindergarten. It tries a deeper insight to the basis of examined events, looks for possible background and connections in present time as well as in historic resources.
Nursery school as public service

The topic of graduation work "Nursery school as public service" is to find out and map how the sence from the framework educational programme "provision ofpre-school education according to the school educational act is a public service" was accepted by experts, pre-school pedagogues/teachers and also by parents whose children attend a nursery school. The theoretical part deals with explanation of terms such as service, public service, education as a public service. It also focuses on historical and current view on nursery school as a facility providing ecuation. In the research part the final work concentrates on analysis and comparison of views on explored formulation at particular groups ofrespondents. Cooperation nursery school with a family from the perspective of parent and teacher to the public

The Diploma thesis deals with the relationship of the family and nursery schools. Monitor legislation as regards schools and families. It deals with socio-historical end economic cooperation motif. Notes the role of the family, child socialization process and the role of teacher. Describes the importance of communication as a mean of socialization process which positively affects the climate of school and nursery classroom. Emphasis on forms of communication between teachers and families in the educational activity. Touches on various philosophical concept of pre-school education within the curriculum, and thus differrent view of family partnerships and institutions.

Problematics of three-year old children adaptation to kindergartens

The diploma thesis refers to a specific question of a kindergarten adaptation of three-year old children. The theoretical part covers the characteristics of a three-year old child from the point of view if his/her development level, necessaries of life, socialization, and psychic stability, and studies the coherence between the above-mentioned characteristics and the child's adaptation to a kindergarten. The practice-oriented part maps the most common problems with adaptation of three-year old children and compares the level of successful adaptation of three-year old children in homogenous and heterogeneous classes. Furthermore, this part studies also the interval of child's adaptation to his/her family, mainly the organizational and relationship changes. In the conclusion, the reasoning about possibilities of further use of this study for kindergarten teachers takes place.
Respect to specifics of child development in the current nursery and basic school

The topic of my thesis was a research in nursery and in first grades of basic school with specific focus on respect paid to development specifics of preschool children (age 5 to 6) and early school age children (age 7 to 8), all taken from the perspective of fulfillment of children's needs. The research was conducted by questionnaire, direct and indirect observations and by interviews. The research focused on the potency of the factors that influence the fulfillment of child's needs, with special attention paid to the personality of teacher, type of environment and conditions in the pre-school facility and in a school itself. Last but not least a set of daily routines and timetable for classes in together with rules on school conduct were considered. An important factor was a direct observation of four pre-selected children in pre-school age and in early school age with different mindsets as far as the level of development and personal school aptitude is concerned.
Searching for New Forms of Cooperation between Parents and Schools

The aim of this diploma work is to investigate opinions and reflections of pre-school pedagogues in the field where reciprocial relationship is being generace.Each chapter describes the possible forms of co-operation between the family and nursery schoul, how this relationship developes. The new educational programmes in nursery schools come from the General Education Programe for Pre-school Education.This programme helps the pre-school institucions to work on the own schoul programmes.
