Healthy Lifestyle Principles and Their Use in Teaching Practise

The thesis "A healthy lifestyle and its application in teaching practice" covers the principles of a healthy lifestyle among today̕ s secondary school students and their application in life. The author compares the differences in the healthy lifestyle of secondary school student, how they are interpreted by professionals, and compares them with the results of questionnaire conducted among pupils and their parents in the 2015/2016 school year at SŠ-COPTH (High School - Technical and Vocational Trainning Centre), Poděbradská 12, Prague 9, in the chemist operator and car mechanic fields. The conclusions that the author has come to show to what extent today̕ s secondary school students, whether studying graduation courses or apprenticeships, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and the degree of their motivation to take care of their health. Work on this topic has led the author to reflect on how to continue to reach out to young people to ensure that they maintain a healthy lifestyle. Prevention of burnout syndrom in pedagogical professions

The author explores the issue of burnout syndrome and its prevention in pedagogical professions. The main objective is to find out what precautions are used by pedagogical staff to protect themselves against the development of this syndrome. The presented work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, stress is defined as the main factor and its effect on human health is described. The characteristics of the burnout syndrome, which includes selected etiopathogenetic and protective factors, follow. The practical part of the diploma thesis surveys the percentage of incidence of burnout syndrome in the target group. It also examines the behavior of respondents in the field of burnout prevention. The survey was performed out by using a quantitative research method - a questionnaire. The results proved that in the area of prevention the most important aspect for the teaching staff is social support and affiliate relationships at the workplace. These factors help them to cope with the higher workload that is typical for the so-called helping profession. Student's knowledge of selected secondary schools in the field of child maltreatment

The aim of the thesis is to find out student's knowledges at the second level of primary scools in the field of child maltreatment. Research has been conducted using questionnaire investigation, which received pupils of the two selected primary schools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical part of this dissertation engages in physical child maltreatment and psychic child maltreatment. It also deals with definition of physical punishment and a description of the boundaries between physical punishment and physical maltreatment. The thesis engages in risk factors for the emergence of abuse from the side of the parents, from the side of children and the environment. It deals informations about behavior of the victim of maltreatment and consequences of abuse. One part of the teoretical part describes legal standards concern of child maltreatment and this section also includes a description of selected organizations dealing with the issue of the cruelty to child. The practical part deals with the verification of student's knowledge of selected secondary schools in the field of child maltreatment. The results of the survey are presented in tables and charts. Knowledge of students at the chosen high school about the issue of sexual abused child

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sexually abused child, which generally falls under CAN syndrome. This phenomenon is increasingly affecting society throughout the world, so more attention is needed. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to describing basic concepts of CAN syndrome, defining the concept of sexual abuse, introducing its typical forms, the resulting consequences of abuse and indicating the characteristics of the victim and perpetrator. The theoretical part also deals with diagnostics, folow-up therapy and, of course, prevention. A special part of the theoretical part is the children's crisis center and a line of trust that helps the affected children and fight against it. These chapters also include statistics from the previous year on the Children's Crisis Center website. The main aim of the practical part of the thesis is to find out what is the awareness of the students of the selected secondary school about sexual abuse of the child. Didactic recommendation for teaching HIV/AIDS issue at a primary school

This diploma thesis puts as its goal to define didactical recommendations for teaching HIV/AIDS issue at a primary school and thus provide support for effective teaching about this topic. It presents information about the analyzed issue and by using quantitative anonymous questionnare research among pupils of eighth grade of three chosen primary schools, it determines their knowledge and attitudes towards the HIV/AIDS topic. Based on the results of applied pre-test research it puts forward the proposal of a teaching unit which is then realized in the target group. Then by means of post-test examination, it is verified how effective the designed teaching unit was and how much in contributed to increasing the knowledge of the respondents. Realisation of the teaching unit increased their knowledge by about 37.5% (from the former 54.2% of correct answers to knowledge-based questions to 91.7%) and it can therefore be considered as effective. The main topics of the teaching unit were the diagnostics of HIV positivity, the question of curability of HIV/AIDS, development of the epidemiological situation, difference between the terms HIV and AIDS and the means of transmission of the HIV virus. Education of Future Medic in Sphere of Humanitarian Help

One billion of people lives less than one dollar a day, millions of people are forced to live out of their home, problems of humanitarian aid are very pressing theme. This diploma thesis aims to create a didactit unit for students of medical school, which would deepen their knowledges and influence their attitudes to humanitarian aid. At first at theoretic part the space is focused on complete overview in humanitarian aid, starting on history, current strategy of humanitarian aid, individual participants of aid, over the rules and risk, up to ethic and legal anchoring of aid. In theoretic part is giving a description in brief of three non- governmental non-profitable organization, whose are engaging in humanitarian aid (International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Docktors without Borders known as Medecins Sans Frontieres, which is devoted more space in view of the fact that students'orientation and Czech organization People in Trouble). Eating disorders in a selected group of young women in the Czech Republic

The aim of the bachelor work on Eating Disorders in a selected group of young women in the Czech Republic is to find out the causes of PPP formation, PPP characteristics and possible follow-up care. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part focuses on basic information about PPP, causes of PPP, treatment overview including possible consequences and, of course, prevention of PPP. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, based on interviews with five children, I found out that the similarity of causes of PPP formation was only in two of the five out of five. The most common features of PPP were similar to all respondents who followed very strict diet and exercised demanding physical activity. The second sub-goal was to find out whether girls had to undergo treatment and how they looked. I found out that one girl was curing herself, one girl helped to visit a psychologist, the other was a Auricde healer again, the fourth was to be hospitalized at the HK medical facility, and the invited maid visited a PPP expert and later group therapy.
