Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit znalosti žáků II. stupně základních škol v oblasti týrání dětí. Šetření bylo provedeno formou dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo na dvou vybraných základních školách. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část práce se zabývá především fyzickým a psychickým týráním dětí. Dále definuje fyzický trest a popisuje hranici mezi fyzickým trestem a fyzickým týráním. Práce se také zabývá rizikovými faktory pro vznik týrání ze strany rodičů, dětí a prostředí. Poskytuje informace o chování obětí týrání a následcích týrání. Uvedeny jsou právní normy vztahující se k týrání dětí a vybrané organizace zabývající se problematikou týraného dítěte. Praktická část se zabývá ověřením znalostí žáků na vybraných základních školách. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření jsou zpracovány ve formě grafů a tabulek. Ze získaných dat je možno vyvodit, že existují značné rozdíly ve znalostech žáků 6. tříd a 9. tříd. Porovnání výsledků šetření u žáků 7. tříd, 8. tříd a 9. tříd ukazuje, že jejich znalosti v oblasti týrání dětí jsou téměř totožné. Analýza výsledků šetření taktéž ukazuje, že ve znalostech dívek a chlapců v oblasti týrání dětí existuje pouze minimální rozdíl. V závěru práce se autorka na základě získaných dat pokusí vyvodit doporučení pro praxi a navrhne... The aim of the thesis is to find out student's knowledges at the second level of primary scools in the field of child maltreatment. Research has been conducted using questionnaire investigation, which received pupils of the two selected primary schools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical part of this dissertation engages in physical child maltreatment and psychic child maltreatment. It also deals with definition of physical punishment and a description of the boundaries between physical punishment and physical maltreatment. The thesis engages in risk factors for the emergence of abuse from the side of the parents, from the side of children and the environment. It deals informations about behavior of the victim of maltreatment and consequences of abuse. One part of the teoretical part describes legal standards concern of child maltreatment and this section also includes a description of selected organizations dealing with the issue of the cruelty to child. The practical part deals with the verification of student's knowledge of selected secondary schools in the field of child maltreatment. The results of the survey are presented in tables and charts.
