Control unit for CubeSat

Cílem práce je návrh univerzální řídicí jednotky pro CubeSat založené na obvodu FPGA. Taková jednotka doposud nebyla komerčně dostupná a navržená jednotka má tak dobrý potenciál zaplnit příslušné místo na trhu komponent pro CubeSat. Celá jednotka je navržena z komerčně dostupných komponent. Návrh jednotky je proveden tak, aby umožnil její funkci ve vesmírném prostředí. Stav konfigurace FPGA je pravidelně kontrolován a v případě zjištěné chyby dochází automaticky k rekonfiguraci FPGA a návratu jednotky do výchozího stavu. Jednotka obsahuje sadu senzorů, které monitorují její stav a v případě potřeby je možné na základě jejich výstupů provést opatření z hlediska ochrany funkce jednotky. Dvě paměti MRAM umožňují uložení tovární a uživatelské konfigurace FPGA, mezi kterými dochází k automatickému přepnutí na základě korektnosti uživatelské konfigurace.

Funding options for non-profit organization in the Czech Republic

Petr Vrzáček Praha 2010 Abstract The diploma thesis describes not only the possibilities of financing of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic but also the method of financing of foreign non-profit organizations for human rights abroad. Consequently, based on the analysis of data collected during action research, these possibilities are recommended to concrete organization being concerned with the human rights issues in the CZ. The thesis is presented as a methodology for non-profit organizations that would like to get comprehensive overview of their financing possibilities in the CZ. However, this thesis is intended for the aforementioned non-profit organization dealing with the legal and human rights issues in the CZ, and will serve as a basis for consideration of an appropriate method of financing in the future.

The key moments of the Korean war and their reflection in the Czech press

The diploma thesis The Key Moments of the Korea War and Their Reflection in the Czech Press considers the way, how the particular Czech newspaper informed about the Korean War and its key moments. The paper aims on four parts of the war: the invasion of North Korea in June 1950, the coastal landing of UN forces in Incheon in September 1950, the intervention of Chinese people's volunteer army in November 1950 and the signing of the peace ratification in July 1953. All those events were highly important for the development of the conflict and according to that they were covered in the press. The Czechoslovakia was at the time part of the bloc of the countries under the influence of the Soviet Union. The thesis uses method of historical comparative analysis to examine, how the Soviet propaganda influenced the media content and shows the concrete examples of this on deflection of the presented information from historical reality. The paper also compares the rate between the published original articles and articles taken over from news agencies. The importance which those articles about Korean War had among the other news is also compared.

Processor Overclocking

The aim of bachelor's thesis was to describe and explain processor overclocking and its use. Suitable processor was chosen and its operational frequency was increased by increasing value of multiplier and changing frequency of FSB. Multiplier and frequency of FSB were increased by the smallest step, which motherboard allowed, to value when computer was unstable. Processor was tested by stress and performance tests for each frequency. Change of power consumption was also measured. At the end, both methods were compared.

Entrance zone objects of WANEMI, a.s. paper-mill in Zábřeh

The diploma thesis deals with the entrance zone objects nearby a to-be-built energetic-paper mill factory WANEMI, Inc. in Zábřeh. It consists of two objects: a presentation pavilion and an administrative building. My design combines a function of parking and administration into one single object to occupy less land. Garages are intersected by a big open skylight in the middle with some trees planted in - this way people are moving as if in the treetops. The exhibition pavilion is situated in the intersection of main view axes to landscape dominants. Their extension is projected even into the interior where they determine main spaces. Visitor of the building climbs the way up along the important views to finish his way upstairs in the main hall.

Assessment of the Level of Nutrition and its Relationship to Milk Production in Milk Cows

In the ZD Kojčice cooperative farm, a stable in Krasíkovice was studied in 2013 and 2014. The farm's production technology and the quality of the ensiled feed, feeding techniques, composition of the feed portions and selected milk production indicators were examined. The economy of milk production was also assessed. The production of ensilage ensured quality feed that was the basis for the milk cows' feed portions. The results show that the feed portions were well balanced in comparison to the recommended nutritional values for milk cows. The average yield in 2014, unlike 2013, decreased by 146 l to 5 960 l per milk cow per year. The costs per feed day were established at 138,2 Kč. The average costs for one liter of milk were 8,75 Kč/l.

Nutrition of dairy cows in various stages meantime, focusing on assessing the impact of nutrition on milk production and quality

This thesis examines the nutrition of dairy cows at various interim phases, with a focus on assessing the impact of nutrition on milk quality and production. At the Kojčice agricultural cooperative in the village of Krasíkovice, I monitored nutrition and production parameters in Czech pied dairy cows over the course of one year. In the first section of the work, I focused on the technique and feeding of the dairy cows, the feed ration, and assessment of the feed itself. The corn silage which they were fed was rated first class. The clover silage was rated as first, second and even third class. Consultation regarding nutrition, feed analyses and composition of daily feed rations was provided by Mikrop Čebín. I also examined the state of health of the dairy cows and calves in relation to nutrition. The average yield was 6,450 kg of milk per cow per year. I monitored the individual components of the milk and evaluated how these changed over the course of the year. The average protein content was 3.48%, while fat was 4.12%. In another section, I evaluated economic indicators of milk production. The average cost per feed day was 143.51 CZK. The average production cost per liter of milk ranged around 8.51 CZK. The average purchase price per liter of milk was 7.65 CZK.

The origin of Corporate style creation

V této práci se zabývám firemní komunikací. Pro její plánování a rozvoj je třeba udržovat aktuální komunikační a informační strategii. Pro zjednodušení jsem systém firemní komunikace rozdělil na 4 subsystémy: Kultura, informační systém, komerční komunikace a firemní styl, z nichž každým se podrobně zabývám. Společným působením těchto čtyř disciplín vzniká unikátní identita organizace a toto jsou její základní kameny. Jedním ze způsobů, jak docílit silné identity, je budování promyšleného a stabilního firemního stylu. Firemní styl je úžeji vymezen jako vizuální tvář podniku, tzv. Corporate Design. Jeho základními elementy jsou: logotyp, barevnost a typografie. Přestože firmy si mohou být v těchto základních elementech podobné, odlišují se jejich aplikacemi na komunikační aktivity. Každá vizuální identita se stává unikátním otiskem složitého firemního organismu. Účelem aplikací není pouze marketingový úspěch či vizuální dokonalost; ten spočívá v jejich funkčnosti. Proto je při jejich tvorbě nutné respektovat daleko více kritérií.
