Management of Activation and Social Therapeutic Activities in Nursing Homes
HLOUŠKOVÁ, Lenka
The diploma thesis aimed at "Description of the management of the provision of activation and social therapeutic activities in a home for the elderly and the method of their implementation in the context of multidisciplinary care". Subsequently, one main research question was identified: "How is the management of the provision of activation and socio-therapeutic activities in the home for the elderly?" " and one partial: "How are activation and social therapeutic activities implemented in the home for the elderly in the context of multidisciplinary care? ". The answer to the goal, the main and secondary research questions was achieved by means of a qualitative research strategy, where the method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured interview were chosen for data collection. The semi-structured interviews were conducted within the members of a multidisciplinary team (social workers, worker in social services, activation workers, physiotherapists, station nurses) providing activation and social therapeutic activities in a selected home for the elderly. Open coding was used to evaluate the obtained data, when categories were obtained through the obtained codes. The diploma thesis provides a comprehensive view of the issue of managing the provision of activation and social therapeutic activities in a selected home for the elderly in the Czech Republic. The research shows that the selected facility does not have a precisely designed management of activation and social therapeutic activities. In spite of the leading position, the health sector, which takes over the management, predominates here, despite the social service. The management of activation and socio-therapeutic activities is rather unorganized and the connection in the context of multidisciplinary care is not directly ensured. The results of the diploma thesis will be offered to the home for the elderly, in which the research took place and in which it is possible to transform the existing activation and social therapeutic activities with the involvement of management through the obtained results. Subsequently, the obtained results can serve as a possible support in the implementation of the management of activation and socio-therapeutic activities for other facilities providing a home for the elderly.
Opportunities and perspectives of convergence and home care for the elderly
HLOUŠKOVÁ, Lenka
The bachelor's thesis, is focused on the topic of possibilities and perspectives of convergence of home and institutional care for the elderly deals with the identifications of differences between home and institutional care for the elderly and the possibilities of using services that are offered. The theoretical part describes the old age, changes accompanying old age (physical, psychological, social and economic changes), institutional care for the elderly in the context of health and social care and possible adaptation of seniors to institutional care. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with home care for the elderly, which describes self-sufficiency, the needs of seniors and models of home care. The empirical part is focused on research and obtaining answers to establish research questions, which were different for each group of respondents. The research group consisted of six respondents in institutional care aged 64-87 years, for whom the representation of the clients from the DPS of Home Božice p.o. The second research group consisted of six seniors in home care aged 72 to 89 years. The research set was selected using the snowball method. A qualitative research strategy was chosen for the research, and a semi-structured interview was used as a form of data collection. Categories were created during the interviews, that helped with the evaluation of the data and were conducted using open coding. The operationalisation of basic concepts was based on research questions. The research shows that it is necessary to provide seniors and families caring for the elderly in the home environment with timely information about the possibilities they have and which could help them in this challenging situation. For some, the information could ensure a more extended stay in home care or speed up entry to a specific facility, where the senior would be appropriately taken cared for. A greater degree of informants could then be reflected in the possibilities of converging home and institutional care in which I see a possible perspective. The bachelor's thesis will serve as feedback for the Božice p.o Home - Home for the Elderly, where the research was realized with the written consent of the director. The results of the research will be used to identify home and institutional care for the elderly and their possible perspective of convergence.
Work motivation
Hloušková, Lenka ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Zdeněk (referee)
This work focuses on the motivation of a labor activity and on motivation tools which can be used by an enterprise to stimulate its employees. The motivation is a complex inner process affected by a group of individual personal needs and interests and also by a lot of external incentives. Through the work activities, we aim to satisfy specific kind of needs such as need for achievements, need for success, need for self-fulfillment etc. I present the most known theories directly focused on the labor activity motivation, e.g. Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Herzberg's two-factor theory, Alderfer's ERG theory, McClelland's theory, theory of expectation, rightness or target etc. Because at the end, the stimulation target from the enterprise point of view is an increase of the quantity and quality of the employee outputs, I also focus on the demand for the output and the related motivation factors. In the work I describe motivation tools which can be used by an enterprise to stimulate its employees and I also target the conditions of creating and operation of the motivation program. At the end of the work, I address motivation tools of my current employer (under fictional name "AZ") and I attempt to evaluate their effectiveness.
Arbitration clauses in consumer disputes
Hloušková, Lenka ; Pohl, Tomáš (advisor) ; Macková, Alena (referee)
The purpose of my thesis, which is named "Arbitration clauses in consumer disputes", is to confirm or rebut the hypothesis that valid pre-dispute arbitration agreement can be concluded with a consumer, and if the hypothesis is confirmed, what requirements have to be met. The text is composed of five chapters, the introduction, and the conclusion, and each of the chapters deals with different aspects of arbitration clauses in consumers' disputes. Chapter One is introductory and defines the terminology used in the thesis, such as the consumer dispute, the arbitration clause, and the protection of the consumer as the weaker party. Chapter Two concerns the admissibility of an arbitration clause for the settlement of consumer disputes. This chapter is subdivided into three parts. The first part describes the European and the American points of view of pre-dispute arbitration agreements. The second part examines the arbitration clause as an unfair term according to the Council Directive 93/13/EEC of April 5th , 1993 on unfair terms in consumer contracts and with regard to the related case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and its implementation into the Czech legal system. This part describes the personal applicability, non-individual negotiation, non-fulfillment of the requirement of...

European nationalism on the Czech press sites
Valášková, Marie ; Křeček, Jan (advisor) ; Hloušková, Lenka (referee)
My analysis clear up an attitude of Czech media to provide informedness about european nationalism. Research was recognized on French presidential election in 2002. Jean-Marie Le Pen, French right-wing nationalist politican, founder and president of the Front National party, ran and surprisingly proceeded to the secound round of the election. Media were exeminig by means of quantitative content analisis according to paid attention to nationalism, points of view of nationalism and how did they discribe and explain phenomenon of nationalism. Hypothesis, that nationalism is presented in negative way and impendency was acknowledged. Regarding to invocation to defending of democracy, any experts neither affirm nor refutate justification of any rousing human conduct. On the other hand, wide range of nationalism views were presented in particular papers, surprisingly. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
