Kinesiotherapy and Healthy Nutrition Under Treatment of Overweight and Obesity

Name of the work: Kinesioth~rapy and healthy nutrition w1der treatment ofoverweight and obesity Objectives of the work: Familiarizativn with kinesiotherapy, obesity, healthy nutrition and possibility oftreatment in term ofpsyche and movement The main objektive ofthis work was to map the lifestyle (nutrition and motional habits, alcohol and stress) inhabitants ofChcb's borderland. Method: Read up specialized publicat10ns and other mtormation sources ( internet, lectures, journals) concerning subject matter. After obtaining sufficiency of informations the theoretical part were created. Ihe practical part is set in on the basis of questionnaire survey, where were taking part 103 respondens (57 Czechs and 46 Germans) suttering from overweight and obesity. Eating Disorders and the Potential Risk to Visually Handicapped People

Název : Poruchy příimu potravv a riziko vzniku u osob se zrakovým postižením Eating disorders and the potentional risk to visually handicapped people Cíle práce: Cílem diplomové práce je zaměření pozornosti na problematiku poruch příjmu potravy u české populace, přesněji adolescentní mládeže, a následného zmapování jejího možného rizika vzniku jedním z typů tohoto onemocnění u minoritní skupiny středoškolské mládeže se zrakovým postižením. Metoda: Průzkum byl veden na vybraných pražských středních školách pro žáky se zrakovými vadami. Metoda průzkumného šetření byla provedena formou standardizovaného dotazníku, pomocí standardních škál (psychometrických testů). V první části šetření byl použit standardizovaný dotazník, ve kterém respondenti odpovídali na deset škálovacích otázek Ve druhé části šetření byl opět použit standardizovaný dotazník, který se sestával z dvaceti šesti škálovacích otázek. Součástí obou standardizovaných dotazníků byly přesné instrukce k vyplnění. Výsledky: Z první části průzkumného šetření vyplynulo, že 5,8% žen ze zrakovým postižením na středních školách spadá do kategorie silného rizika vzniku poruch příjmu potravy a u mužů se nenachází jediný dotázaný respondent. Basic physical preparation in rhythmic gymnastics

of disertation Rhythmic gymnastics (RG) is the only Olympia sport of girls and women and it is characterized by precision, fluency and elegance of movement that emphasizes feminine beauty and grace. At present, there is no coherent concept of long-term sports training of talented gymnasts in Czech RG. The outflow of athletes is evident especially during prepubescence. Basic RG preparation aims gradual development of motor abilities, practice of sports (gymnastics) skills and the beginning of specialized techniques based on the principle of comprehensive movement base. This period (in rhythmic gymnastics between 7-9 years of gymnasts) for further performance growth is very substantial, in terms of content and in terms of training forms and influence of trainers (coaches). Defining the content of movement and gymnastic activities determines the path of development athletes and also defines (for caoches) performance criteria in each age category. The aim of disertation was to verify correspondence between published scientific theories and trainers experience of coaching using the Repertory Grid Technique. Kinesiotherapy in the treatment of patients with eating disorders

Title: Kinesiotherapy in the treatment of patients with eating disorders Summary: The aim of our experiment was evaluate the effect of kineziotherapy (psychomotor therapy) on body image in the treatemnet of the patiens with eating disorders in The Department of Psychiatry on General University Hospital in Prague. The study included 10 women divided into two groups according to the psychiatrist`s diagnosis of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. The effectiveness of kinesiotherapy was also evaluated about the type of treatment - inpatient of the department for eating disorders and outpatient of the day care institution for eating disorders. We used a validated questionnaire Body Attitude Test (BAT) which is used for negative evaluation of body size, lack of familiarity with one`s own body and general body dissatisfaction. Then we used Test of silhouette according to Stunkard and Test for the evaluation of sensory stimuli according to Petrie. Due to the small sample size, we supplemented the quantitative part with the qualitative interview with open questions. It allowed us to understand the interaction of individuals with their own body. Systematic Review of Researches Trstiny Movement and Body Techniques in the Treatement of Eating Disorders

Title: Systematic Review of Researches Testing Movement and Body Techniques in the Treatment of Eating Disorders. Goal: The goal of this research is to organize the knowledge of past therapeutic researches and cross- connect this knowledge gained through experiments for the benefit of daily psychotherapeutic work and future researches. Methods: The design of the study follows the design of Systematic Review, which carries the highest evidence in the hierarchy of scientific evidence, and which offers the strongest knowledge for practical use. In this research were included studies testing Movement and Body Techniques on samples of patients with Eating Disorders and which were published in English till the year 2008. Results: This research confirms that for the treatment of eating disorders, therapies using body and movement oriented techniques have been used, tested and published since 1970. By the end of the year 2008 there are 41 published researches in the English language. The evidence-based quality of the researches in this field is very good. In 59% of the studies, the strength of the evidence reaches the third of four levels of scientific evidence. Název: Rizikové chování na základních a středních školách na území Karlovarského kraje Risk behavior in primary and secondary schools in the Karlovy Vary Region Cíle práce: Cílem práce bylo setřídit informace v oblasti rizikového chování a přiblížit je tak případným čtenářům, na jejichž pozadí je potom mohou využít pro snadnější pochopení získaných dat v části výzkumné. Teoretická část by měla definovat pojmosloví a termíny akcentovaných rizikových forem chování identických pro sledované území a měla by směřovat ke zlepšení a doplnění vědomostí nejen výchovných poradců působících na školách, nýbrž by měla doplnit znalosti zaměstnanců organizací, které s touto problematikou pracují Výzkumná část měla být vstupním diagnostickým klíčem sloužícím k zpětné vazbě pro adiktologické odborníky a měla by být i podkladem pro komise zřízené při radách měst a obcí, jakožto i kraje, které jsou dle zákona doporučujícím orgánem pro schvalování toku finančních prostředků. V neposlední řadě si výzkum kladl ambice k využití získaných dat pro krajská Speciální pedagogická centra v rámci primárních prevencí, především ke zlepšení těchto prevencí a také mohl a může být výzkum přínosný pro dlouhodobé sledování prevalencí v republikovém měřítku, přičemž je možné výsledky aplikovat a porovnávat s evropským kontextem....
