This thesis describes process of valuation of selected company. Steps in the valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, financial plan, the discount rate and the application of valuation methods are specified. In the thesis are applied to revenue and cost valuation method, and finally made their synthesis.

The objective of the thesis is to estimate the value of 2K Czech, s.r.o., as of 31th December 2011. The thesis is structured into two parts. The theoretical part describes applied methods and valuation approach. Application includes strategic and financial analysis, prognosis of value drivers, financial plan and final valuation using discounted cash-flow method and market comparison method.

The subject of my diploma thesis was analysis of marketing methods usage in managing the chosen town - Římov. After study of literature, I explained the main statements connected with marketing. With help of local councilor, I prepered characteristic of the town, acces current situation and recommend some suggestion and hints.
The development and future of the European Monetary Union

Diploma thesis, European Monetary Union, its Development and the Future, deals with the reasons, which ultimately led to the foundation of the later European Union and afterwards the European Monetary Union. The journey, which leads up to the present where we are now, lasted for several decades. The experience with the two World Wars on the European territory was the sufficient reason why the European countries embarked on this common journey. In the first part this thesis offers the insight into the past. In short, the most important historical milestones on this road, leading towards the European, respectively the European Monetary Union, are suggested here. The second part of this thesis focuses on current problems of the European Monetary Union. The individual European macroeconomic indicators are compared with the results obtained overseas, particularly in the U.S.A. and Japan. Ultimately, it appears that the EU in comparison especially with the U.S.A. is lagging behind in some indicators. Another part of the thesis is dedicated to the optimum currency area. Is therefore the European Monetary Union the optimum currency area? A few indicators give again the answer to this question. The resulting values of the indicators show that the European Monetary Union is not the optimum currency area today. The reasons can be found particularly in the political than the economic area. Therefore, there is lots of work waiting for the European politicians, officials, but also ordinary citizens, and it will be only up to them, which way the European Union sets out.
Stock Exchanges in the Czech Republic and in Some of Other EU Member Countries

The bachelor thesis titled The Stock Exchange Market in the Czech Republic and Selected EU Member States deals with the establishment and development of the capital market in the Czech Republic, Hungary and the United Kingdom. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the development of stock exchange indicators in 2006 and a few more years in the past. The theoretical part, explaining the basic concepts, is followed by the presentation of the main stock exchange index for the stock market and bond market respectively, on each of the stock exchanges separately. Subsequently, all the indexes were mutually compared. Efficiency, liquidity and the risk level were examined on all the individual markets separately. The comparison of all the indicators and outcomes resulted in a clear conclusion that the London Stock Exchange is the most developed among the currently compared ones, belonging to the group of the world{\crq}s major stock exchanges. Both stock exchanges from the Central European region should, in theoretical terms, have similar results. However, the reality is different. As regards the volumes of trades, in this case, a larger volume in 2006 was traded on the Prague Stock Exchange. However, if we look at the results of the other indicators, the Budapest Stock Exchange achieved better figures in almost all the other cases.
Propagation strategy in chosen company

The subject of my bachelor thesis was propagation strategy in the company HCS Bohemia. Atfirst I analysed present state of promotion used by firm. Then I charakterised the company and I made some suggestions how to improve current propagation. I recommend some improvements in each of promotion elements: advertising, personal selling, sales promotion and public relations.
Evaluation of marketing strategy of Ferrari

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate marketing strategy of the Ferrari carmaker with consideration of the marketing specifics of luxury goods. The main tool used in the thesis is the situational analysis. The results are summarized in SWOT analysis, out of which the final evaluation is drawn.
