Marketing Activities for Entry into the new Location

This thesis analyzes the current situation of the market in the South Moravian region in the field of purchase and processing of metal scrap. The first part is focused on the necessary theoretical background. The second part presents a TSR Czech Republic, Ltd. and the analysis of general and professional environment with the emphasis on competition. The result of the work activities are suggestions for getting new customers and the establishment of a new market, where the company last year built a new strategic scrap yard.

Human paraoxonase (PON1) L55M allelic polymorphism and hemodialysis

Allelický polymorfismus lidské paroxonasy a hemodialýza Renata Dvořáková ABSTRAKT Nemocní léčení hemodialýzou (HD) mají vysoké riziko koronárního onemocnění. Lidská paraoxonasa (PON1, EC 3.1.8.1) je enzym asociovaný s lipoproteinem o vysoké hustotě (HDL), který chrání lipoprotein LDL před oxidací a rovněž chrání před aterosklerózou. Na vzniku CHD se může účastnit polymorfismus PON1 L55M. Cíl práce: Zmapovat distribuci allelického polymorfismu PON1 L55M v Chorvatsku a určit vztah mezi polymorfismem PON1 L55M a hemodialytickou léčbou . Metody: Do studie byli zahrnuti jedinci HD-pacienti (N=51, M/F= 28/23, věk= 60±12 let) a kontrolní jedinci (dárci krve) (N=95, M/F=48/47, věk 49±17 let) z oblasti Slavonski Brod. Polymorfismus PON1 L55M byl zjišťován metodami PCR a metodou sledování délky fragmentů polymorfismu (RFLP). Výsledky: Distribuce polymorfismu genotypů PON1 L55M u pacientů s hemolýzou se lišila od kontrol (12%MM, 48% LM a 40% LL). Frekvence polymorfismu allel pro PON1 L55M se lišila v 5% u hemodialyzovaných (69% L allela, 31% M allela) a kontrol (64% L, 36% M). L allela je nejčastější jak u skupiny HD, tak u kontrol. Závěr: Přibližně 55,5 polymorfických jedinců s PON1 L55M a 44,5 jedinců bez polymorfismu PON1 L55M. L allela je nejčastější u polymorfismu PON1 L55M u obou porovnávaných skupin. Frekvence...

Golf coach's competencies

Title: The Competency Profile of the Golf Coach Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of an ideal golf coach with focus on adult recreational players. It was based on the identification of the most important competencies from two perspectives, namely coaches and their clients. Methods: The thesis combines qualitative and quantitative methods. According to the expert literature studies, previous researches and interviews with the professional golf coaches was created a list of four competency groups needed for quality work of golf coach. Coaches and players evaluated the importance of individual competencies by eletronic questioning. For clarity, the individual competencies are divided into four groups, specifically to character traits and features, abilitites and skills, education and knowledge, other professional attributes. Results: In the thesis is created the competency profile of the ideal golf coach focusing on adult recreational players, which includes 20 competencies from all competency groups: character traits and features, abilities and skills, education and knowledge, other professional attributes. The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders.

The theses titled "The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders"is divided into two main parts - the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of individual disorders, epidemiology and the factors with influence on the emergence of disorders. Next the symptoms and effects of eating disorders in children and adolescents are described as is the treatment and the field of prevention. The practical part is then focused on the research of awareness of students of the problematics of eating disorders, with evaluation of the questionnaire survey. Besides the level of awareness of students, the subject of the research were the most common sources of information on the matter and the influence of the location of schools in the Czech Republic on the awareness. The results of the practical part showed that the grammar school students have highest level of awareness and are followed by the secondary vocational school students and the primary school students in Prague. The worst informed group consisted of the primary school students in the Central Bohemian Region. Hodnocení vodních toků ve vztahu k rozvoji rekreace v regionu

The subject of this thesis is the evaluation of the selected sites watercourse in relation to the development of recreation in the region. The literature search focused on the evaluation of watercourses, their adaptations and their surroundings. This issue is addressed in terms of flood protection, as well as in terms of ecology, revitalization, recreation, urban and economic. The practical part is focused on a characterization and assessment of a particular model territory, i.e. the selected revitalized section of the watercourse in the Czech Republic. Evaluation is based on the chosen method and on the basis of the methods of public preferences. The result is a proposal for measures leading to maintain or to increase the recreational potential of the selected watercourse.

Burnout syndrome among selected workers in helping professions from the ranks of members of the armed forces, workers in health and education

This bachelor thesis with the topic "The Burnout syndrome among selected workers in helping professions from the ranks of members of the armed forces, workers in health and education" is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is concerned especially with the characteristics of the concept of burnout, its symptoms, manifestations and possibilities of preventing it. There is also an outline of the various helping professions that are included in the research. The latter part focuses on examination of the burnout syndrome among selected workers by the evaluation of the questionnaire survey. The research focused on several issues. Subject to examination were next to the subjective feelings of the workers and their awareness of the issue, also direct experiences with the syndrome and its prevention. The survey results showed that subjectively the most satisfied group in the current occupation are educators. The least satisfied are the nurses. I also found out that 97 % of respondents were not satisfied with the financial and social evaluation. The results also show that 44 % of the interviewed is satisfied with the working environment. This thesis is focused on the verification of an intervation programme which was applied by mentally handicap children within the time of five months. In theoretical part of this thesis I paid attention to the problems which disabled children have. I sketched the basis of the personality integration, on which condition it gives benefits. I mentioned educational systems focused on the physical education and the importace of physical activity connected with it. The purpose of the applied programm was to discover whether there would be an improvement at motoric and social ratios. To prove the positive effect of doing these exercises, I tested the group again after a year. The results are statistically relevant and the course had a positive effect on individuals.\\
