CSR: Factors of Social Responsibility in Human Resources Management within an organization

4 ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis focuses on the corporate social responsibility from the perspective of the human resources management. The thesis introduces the concept of corporate social responsibility, describes evolution of this concept and summarizes its main characteristics. In the context of current and expected development the thesis emphasizes the connection between the corporate social responsibility and human resources management, considers the role of human resources professionals and line managers in applying responsible practices in HR and suggests possible ways of integrating the corporate social responsibility values in human resources management practice. It also outlines the process of implementing the corporate social responsibility within an organization and ways of evaluating associated benefits. Factors determining educational aspirations in the Czech Republic after 1989

5 Abstract In the bachelor thesis are described factors, which take part in forming of educational aspirations after 1989. Forming factors of educational aspirations are identified in the context of changes, which were in the Czech society during the last 25 years. The opening chapters are focused on historical context of forming educational aspirations. Factors are examined on the three levels: structural, individual and contextual. Forming factors are studied by available researches from the Czech republic and the point of view of their forming is enriched by knowledge from foreign researches. The thesis contains discussion about findings and the search of available studies, which contribute to aknowledgement of forming factors of educational aspirations. Coaching in non-commercial sector

The bachelor's thesis deals with coaching as a method of the development of staff and thereby also of organizations in the Non-Commercial Sector. The thesis focuses on the theoretical knowledge related to coaching, its development and methods, external and internal coaching, the coach's competencies and coaching research Attention is paid to the specificities of the development and motivation of staff working in the Non-Commercial Sector and to the existing treatment of coaching in the Non-Commercial Sector as a topic in scientific literature and other sources. The thesis includes the author's original qualitative research that was performed using semi-structured interviews with five coached staff members from the Non- Commercial Sector, specifically from the social area, from regional authorities and from the education system. The research focuses on the specific forms of the use of coaching in the Non-Commercial Sector, its context, the benefits for the development of staff members and organizations, as well as on the specificities of coaching in the Non-Commercial Sector. Compulsory drug treatment

Background: Compulsory drug treatment could be imposed by court in case the offender commits a crime while he was intoxicated or his acting was otherwise connected to drugs. There must be a real hope, that this kind of treatment could have any positive results as well considering individuality and motivation of the offender. The professionals in the Czech republic are questioning meaning and efficiency of this kind of treatment for drug users. These doubt are based on fact, that persons which are mandated to treatment by court have a very low level of motivation to treatment and try to escape from institution or otherwise break the rules. Objective: aim of this study is to determine what beliefs and attitudes manifested staff of psychiatric hospitals in relation to compulsory drug treatment with consideration of its legal framework and efficiency. Methods: In this study was applied qualitative approach. Data was collected by semi- structured interview, then transcribed and the results were gain by using descriptive method. Economic Aspects of Education at Language Schools in the Czech Republic

The Master´s thesis is focused on financial sources invested in education at language schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part gathers data associated with the topic and is based primarily on the specialized literature. From the characterization of linguistic companies, it is obvious that this type can be described as a non-formal type of education. According to the international classification it belongs to the post-secondary non-tertiary education. Information obtained in the theoretical part will be important for the analytical part of the thesis. The practical section describes mostly language schools, analyses their offer of linguistic classes for public in detail. Both economic and non-economic criteria will be analysed and compared. The conclusion of the thesis presents evaluation of the previous parts. It is clear that the competition in the particular market is strong, and therefore it is necessary for every company to strive for some kind of competitive advantage. Regarding the choice of a suitable linguistic course from the point of view of a student, we suggest several factors that one should consider. Generally, it has been proven that investment in any kind of education is always considered a good investment.
Appraisal of Employee Performance System in Organization

The target of the diploma thesis is to revise appraisal of employee performance system in specific company and to propose effective solutions in case of any discrepancies. In the theoretical part is defined the meaning and added value of employee appraisal system of performance, its connections to other HR processes, system requirements, contents, methods of appraisal, classification of employee performance, implementation or reimplementation the system to a company. This part of diploma thesis also describes theoretical press of appraisals and highlights the common mistakes. The practical part of the diploma thesis characterizes a specific company, analyzes a current company system of employee appraisal. And based on the results of the analysis describes the system in HR policy according to ČSN EN ISO 9001 a ČSN P ISO/TS 16949. This part links the system to other HR systems e.g. bonus system. The results of the author's work are training for evaluators and new modification of the evaluation forms. Outcome of this diploma thesis are also extensive attachments that provides concrete proposals, which were verified in practice.
Effect of cosmetic massage on a selected group of women

This thesis examines the influence of cosmetic massage to a select group of women, the research relates to the impact of regular massage and treatment on hydration and overall skin condition and cosmetic massage influence on the psychological state of the respondents. The theoretical part defines the concept and importance of massage, composition and function of the skin, explains the process of skin aging. The task of the practical part was to confirm the assumptions that regular cosmetic massage has a positive effect on skin condition, increases the level of hydration of the skin and slows aging and delays the formation of wrinkles. Assumptions proved correct. Cosmetic massage acts on the skin's condition and mental well-being of women positively.

Cílem diplomové práce je objasnit systém a principy dotační politiky EU a podrobně rozebrat postupy přípravy a realizace projektů v oblasti rozvoje lidských zdrojů. Práce by měla nastínit možné návody, jak v rozpočtovém období 2000-2006 správně připravit, realizovat a uzavřít úspěšně projekt s tématikou rozvoje lidských zdrojů tak, aby byl schválen k profinancování z evropských strukturálních fondů.
