Martina Hrdinová Title of bachelor thesis: Laboratory markers in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction The basic laboratory examination in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AIM) is primarily the determination of cardiac troponins. The object of this work was to create an overview of markers used in the diagnosis of AIM and to determine cardiac troponins T and I by highly sensitive methods on two different automatic analyzers cobas e 801 and Alinity i in the laboratory of clinical biochemistry. We used diagnostic kits from two different manufacturers to analyze troponins. Cardiac troponins T and I are determined by highly sensitive chemiluminescence methods, which make it possible to capture the increase in concentrations at an early stage of myocardial disability. I compared and evaluated the measured values of troponins in samples from a selected group of patients, in which men aged between 51-70 years predominated. To summarize the contemporary contraceptive methods. To analyze the problematics of contraceptives from bioethical perspective as thoroughly as possible. Main findings: In the Diploma Thesis, we have studied the problematics of bioethics, bioethical principles and mainly the problematics of contraceptives. We were focused mostly on the ideas behind bioethics, its principles and connections to religious doctrines. Moreover, we summarized the contraceptive methods, its history, development and research of the new methods. We compiled available statistics data about the usage of contraceptives in the Czech Republic and across the world. Next part of the Thesis describes the bioethical aspects of contraceptives usage. We concluded with the focus on the religious perspectives on contraceptives. We discovered that the Catholic church acknowledges only the naturally planned parenthood. Financial Resources of Social Enterprises in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis investigates the sources of finance for Czech social enterprises. It comprises of two parts - the Theoretical Part and the Empirical Part. The Theoretical Part is divided into 5 chapters. In these chapters, I start by defining concepts that relate to social enterprises. Then, I explain theories of the establishment of social enterprises and two traditional approaches to this establishment, a European approach and an American approach. Finally, I focus primarily on funding possibilities for Czech social enterprises. The Empirical Part, consisting of 6 chapters, is a case study of two Czech social enterprises - (1) Ethnocatering, which is established by an unincorporated association InBáze, and (2) Rettigovky, operating under a charitable trust Komuniké. The aim of this diploma thesis is, first, to find out similarities and differences in the sources of finance between the two Czech social enterprises, which are established on the basis of two distinct traditional approaches, and, second, to ascertain which traditional approach is better for Czech conditions and why. Like mother, like daughter? Gender role reproduction of one and a half generation of female Armenian migrants in Czech republic

Diploma thesis is focused on a social status of one and a half generation of female Armenian migrants in Czech republic. It follows processes of a negotiation of their own social position and a creation of their own self-image on basis of gender role reproduction analysis. There are two main influential factors in context with their life in the target country. First one is their family and an Armenian community who is trying to pass Armenian traditions and values to them. The other one is the major society around them. Thesis reveals how individual informants in the bicultural situation perceive traditional gender roles and the possibility of their development or change. Girl's strategies prove to what degree they are following social patterns based on their origins in comparison with the life in the target country. Despite the fact that they know and understand social patterns preserved in Czech society they are accepting and by their behaviour even proving a gender role identification in the context of their family and Armenian community. This identification coresponds with an identification of the common Armenian family because it's girl's key reference group determining all relationships. Hybridization and microevolutionary relationships among Central European Diphasiastrum species

Genus Diphasiastrum Holub is one of the most complicated and biosystematically very little investigated groups within Lycopodiaceae family. There are 6 species recognized in Central European region. Three of them (D. alpinum, D. complanatum, D. tristachyum) are considered basic - parental taxa, and their hybridization probably gave origin to the three adjacent species - intermediates (D. issleri, D. zeilleri, D. oellgaardii). These supposedly hybridogenous taxa often co-ocur with at least one parental species. All the taxa often meet in secondary habitats where they tend to form hybrid swarms (e.g. on ski slopes which represent an ideal biocorridor for meeting the species from alpine zone with the species from lower altitudes). In such places reciprocal crossings between all of the taxa occur, often accompanied by introgression. The degree of hybridization, including the possible introgression, was studied using absolute genome size analyses combined with classical and geometric multivariate morphometrics. Genome size was estimated for 570 plants from 83 localities, mostly from the Czech Republic. Despite the fact that each parental taxa had a specific range of absolute genome sizes, adjacent species formed more or less disconnected continuum. The Czech intermediate schools in Hradec Králové in school years 1938/39-1944/45

The paper deals with the topic of Czech secondary educational institution falling into the scope of school years 1938/39 and 1944/45. It is also concentrated on this level of education In the final period of "the first republic", as well as in the era of"the second republic" and most of all on the period of nazi occupation. The work lS related to specific Czech secondary educational institutions providing general education in Hradec Králové in the time range mentioned above. Events in the town with overlapping into other places throughout Eastern Bohernia and the rest of the country / protectorate are depicted in individual chapters to put the life in school into broad connections which represented contemporary atmosphere. The core of the work is focused on grammar school and another grammar school for girls which are situated in Hradec Králové and became the general grammar school during the school years 1941 - 1942. In these sections the author of this paper describes the events in individual institutions. Moreover, the statistical point of view is presented as well, e.g. the quantity of pupils who attended the school, the change of number of pupils within years, the structure of students according to their religions, places ofbirth, mother tongues (nationalities), and citizenships.

Local people's courts in district of Hradec Králové in years 1961-1969

This thesis deals with the Local People's Courts, a part of judiciary in Czechoslovakia in sixties, focusing on these institutions in the district of Hradec Králové.The Local People's Courts evolved in the process of shaping the judiciary as a public affair, according to the communist ideology, which started after 1948. Therefore, Local Peopl's Courts were intended to combine characteristics of both social organisation and a government authority. The thesis is based on particularities of these institutions and approaches them as a conflict zone of various fields of interest, such as government, trade unions and jurist community. The focus of this thesis was not only to describe these institutions from the points of view of the applicatory legal norm, statutory provisions, instructions of responsible authorities, orders of the communist party and the opinions of lawyers, but also to observe them as a power instrument of a totalitarian regime and a ground for procuring various concerns.
