Diplomová práce se zabývá interním auditem finanční situace firmy Skynet, a. s., jedné z předních telekomunikačních společností se zaměřením na přenos a bezpečnost dat. K analýze finanční stability bylo použito rozvahy a výkazu zisku a ztrát. Vypracovaná analýza má za cíl poskytnout rozbor jednotlivých finančních ukazatelů jako obraz hospodaření a inspiraci pro podnikový management. Analýza by měla poukázat na finanční kondici firmy, případně identifikovat nedostatky vyplývající z finančních výkazů. Dále zda je třeba přijmout určitá opatření vedoucí k efektivnímu vývoji v budoucnu. Byla užita horizontální a vertikální analýza absolutních ukazatelů, analýza poměrových ukazatelů, ekonomická přidaná hodnota, predikce trendu vývoje a mezipodnikové srovnání.

Business plan

The goal of my work is to process the business plan, to create a fair picture of the hotel complex and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the project. Quality processing of the founding project is one of the key factors for the successful establishing of the business. While processing of the results I have to take into account the continuity of the business plan, realistic and meaningful ability to put values. Future revenues will be calculated on the basis of an estimate sales, utilization and average prices. The meaningful point for me is mainly market research. In its business plan I decided on the basis of certain input information (that are included in the marketing plan). The aim of course is to return my financial funds as soon as possible, which means I will be mainly interested in the period of return on capital wich put into the business. The work project will apply for a fictitious hotel "t-terrace" which is located on the island of Phuket (Thailand). That work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The guesthouse will be build by me, in 1.07.2009.

This diploma work deals with Continuous audit of financial statements. The goal of this work is to describe chosen methods and procedures of this kind of audit. The first part of the text belongs to the description of laws and rules accordind to financial accounting and financial audit. Procedures and methods used in financial audit are described in the second part of the text. I was able to gain such a knowledge of these procedures and methods while working as an assistant of financial auditor in Cyech Republic. This work should be useful for anyone who is thinking about becoming a financial auditor, or an assistant.

Planning and reporting of a company in controlled environment

The work focuses on planning and reporting of a company in controlled environment. First of all it describes planning, its rules, kinds, purposes and methods. The next chapter deals with the structure and contents of reporting, it introduces its rules, methods and kinds and it also mentions sources of information. In the next part regulation, and price regulation especially, is defined as well as ways state influences economics. The work further sets a list of some crucial, especially reporting, duties of firms that are common for controlled and non-controlled branches. Further on it contains a list of mainly reporting duties of firms in controlled branches. The efficiency of those duties is consequently assessed from the view of costs of firms connected with information duties. The findings from the theoretical part are used in the practical part that sums up methods for making plans and reports in firms of controlled branches, it assesses the used system, its efficiency and quality and it suggests possibilities for improving present state.

How to set up business (analysis of business plan)

This paper is focused on a rookie entrepreneur who is starting a middle size business in the express package delivery business. The theoretical asks questions that a young businessman should give some thought. In particular it is a guideline how to assemble a successful business plan that attracts the creditors and other interested parties. It tells him how present his ideas in the right way and what should be avoided in the starting faze of a business. In the practical part the author tests working hypothesis, puts together the founding budget, expected profit and loss statement in the first year of the business and also the expected value of cash flow. The main hypothesis is the viability of the undertaking in market conditions. This hypothesis is being reinforced by the calculations in the estimated financial plan as well as the marketing research that concludes that for this kind of business there is still enough space left. But it has to be a cheap and quality business. The values of the return on assets and return on equity are examined in the reference to the risk-free interest rate and thanks to that we can identify how big the risk-bonus is for the investor. In conclusion of the paper gives the author a solution how to even improve the ROA and ROE, the net profit and cash flow. Thanks to that the risk-bonus of the undertaking is even higher.
