Integration, Visualization, and Mining from Data of World Countries
Dušek, Vladimír ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis explores the utilization of open data about countries around the world, particularly data in the areas of progress and quality of life. The goal was to design and implement a web application to present this data and further use the data for data mining. The integration and processing of data from open data sources were accomplished using the Apache Airflow platform. The Python framework FastAPI was used to create the API and the JavaScript library ReactJS was used to implement the web application. In the application, the indicators are categorized. Each of them can be displayed for different groups of countries, for different time periods, and in several visualizations. From the domain of data mining, clustering of countries based on a group of indicators and prediction of future development of selected indicators using regression analysis was performed. The final application is available at jakjsmenatom.cz.
Monitoring Pedestrian by Drone
Dušek, Vladimír ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is focused on monitoring people in a video footage captured by drone. People are detected by trained model of detector RetinaNet. A feature vector is extracted for each detected person using color histograms. Identification of people is realized by comparing their feature vectors with respect to their distance in the frame. In the end the trajectories of all people are visualized in a panorama image. Accuracy of the trained RetinaNet detector on difficult validation data is 58.6 %. Error rate is partially reduced by the way of algorithm design for trajectory visualisation. It's not necessary to successfully detect person on every frame for correct visualization of its trajectories. At the same time, static objects which are detected as person but are not moving are not consider as people and are not visualized at all. There is a lot of algorithms dealing with people detection however only a few approaches are focused on detection people from an aerial footage.
Employee representation in the elected bodies of a public limited company - a comparative perspective
Dušek, Vladimír ; Tomášek, Petr (advisor) ; Hurychová, Klára (referee)
This thesis analyses the legal regulation of employee representation in elected bodies of public limited companies in the Germany and in the Czech Republic and then compares them. The first part of this thesis briefly describes the historical development of the legal regulation of codetermination in the Czech Republic and then analyses to which companies the regulation of codetermination applies, how many members of the elected bodies of the company are elected by employees, how the election process of members of the elected bodies of the company elected by employees is regulated, how it is possible to deviate from the provisions that regulate codetermination and what special rights the members elected by employees have in the elected bodies of the company. In the second part of this thesis, the historical development of the legal regulation of codetermination in Germany is briefly described and then it is analysed how the described issue is regulated in German law. The third part of this thesis compares the differences in the way the above mentioned issues are regulated by the Czech and German legislation, finding that the German legislation on codetermination is contained in several laws and therefore contains several different conditions that companies must meet in order to be subject to the...
