President Vaclav Havel's attitude to the division of Czechoslovakia in years 1992/1993
Doležalová, Kateřina ; Šmíd, Marek (advisor) ; Beneš, Zdeněk (referee)
President Vaclav Havel's attitude to the division of Czechoslovakia in years 1992/1993. The Bachelor thesis is focused on the Vaclav Havel's attitude to the main events of the 1990s, especially the division of Czechoslovakia, in the context of the major events from 1989 to 1993. There is the focus on events after November 1989, the commencement of the opposition movement, Civic Forum, thanks to which Vaclav Havel came to the force. Vaclav Havel progressively became a prominent person who was the speaker of the whole society. Afterwards Vaclav Havel was elected president, he made a contribution to the transition to a democratic system of government. There is also described the process of changing the name of the state, which has proven to be one of the most difficult to resolve disputes between Czechs and Slovaks, like that the controversy over the Competence Act and the contract between the Czech and Slovak Republics, which are also analyzed in this work. I also consistently described the parliamentary elections of June 1992, the results of which led to the division of Czechoslovakia and the presidential elections, held in early July 1992, including a large number of comments from newspapers of the time.

Doležalová, Kateřina ; Šnejdrová, Eva (advisor) ; Dittrich, Milan (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical technology Candidate Mgr. Kateřina Doležalová Consultant PharmDr. Eva Šnejdrová, Ph.D. Title of Thesis Release, adhesive and rheological properties of branched oligoesters plasticized with dipentaerythritol The aim of this rigorous thesis was the study of acyclovir and fluconazole release from oligoesters of lactic and glycolic acids, branched usig dipentaerythritol, and their adhesive and rheological characteristics. The theoretical part describes polyesters used in pharmacy and medicine, polylactic acid and plasticizers used in biomedical application. Dynamic viscozity were measured by Brookfield digital viscometer model DV-E. Adhezive properties were measured using material testing machine Zwick/Roel T1-FR050TH.A1K. The maximum force, required to detach the polymer carrier from substrate, was measured for studying this material. Adhezivity of oligoesters plasticized with etylpyruvate was 59,17-84,94 mN/mm2. Liberation was tested at 37řC to the phosphate-citrate medium, concentration of drug in medium was measured by spectrophotometer. There was a decrease of drug liberation from branched oligoesters with increased molar weight. Carrier branched by dipenthaerythritol in concentration of 3 % shown the...
Towards understanding the culture of the Rif Berbers
Doležalová, Kateřina ; Soukup, Václav (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the Moroccan people, known as the Rif Berbers. Berbers were Morocco's first inhabitants, they are spread over the country, from the Rif mountains in the north to the Atlas mountains and the desert in the south. Berbers are still the majority today, accounting for about 60 percent of Morocco's 30 million citizens. But they are treated like a minority by the members of the dominant Arab culture. The interdisciplinary study explores some aspects of the way of life of the Rif Berbers and uniqueness of their culture, which is mostly threatened by poverty. Chapter 10 examines also the cannabis cultivation in the Rif region. Apart from my bibliographical research, I also conducted some additional interviews and observations for my thesis (September 2004 - January 2008).
Courtly dance in Italy's early Renaissance period
Doležalová, Kateřina ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis is focused on courtly dancing in Italy in the early modem period. The work endeavours to survey its role in the fifteenth-century society, where it occured for the first time at the no ble courts. The general layout of the thesis is based on the assumption that dancing was one ofthe essential attributes ofthe nascent courtly society ofthe renaissance. The work consists of two parts: the first part examines the roots that were the foundation ofthe progression ofthe fifteenth-century society towards full-blown renaissance culture. There were two basic kinds of influence: one was the ancient Greek and Roman cultures, where dance was seen as a common part of life. The other was the Bible and its medieval Christian interpretations, which in its extreme aspects considered dancing to be one of the capital sins. Before integrating these antitheses, there was an acute conflict in society, which is clearly demonstrated by the attitude towards dancing in the period in question. The second part of the thesis addresses different roles of dancing in the fifteenth-century society and its ambition as an instrument of official demonstration of political power, noble entertainment and theatrelike spectacle. The reconstruction of life, works and dance theories of the first dancing masters show which functions it...
Dipentaerythritol branched oligoesters as adhesive carriers of drugs
Doležalová, Kateřina ; Šnejdrová, Eva (advisor) ; Dittrich, Milan (referee)
The aim of this work was to study disolution and adhesive characteristics of branched lactic and glycolic acid oligoesters. The theoretical part describes biomaterials and bioadhezion. Dipenthaerythritol branched oligoester carriers were plastified 20% triethylcitrate. Adhezive properties were measured by material testing machine Zwick/Roel T1-FR050TH.A1K. The maximum force (Fmax), required to detach the polymer carrier from substrate, was measured for studying this material. Solution of mucin was used as a substate for adhesion. All studied oligoesters had sufficient adhesive properties. There was not any significant influence of incorporated drug. Acyclovir and fluconazole release from plastified carriers was tested. Liberation was tested at 37řC to the phosphate-citrate medium. Concentration of drug in medium was measured by spectrophotometer. There was an increase of drug liberation caused by decreasing of molar weight Mw. Oligoester 3D shown advantageous properties, it liberated acyclovir for 21 days with zeroth order kinetics
HBO
Doležalová, Kateřina ; Šantavá, Martina (advisor) ; Kruml, Milan (referee)
This thesis deals with the position of the cable television Home Box Office in the contemporary digital world. Work explores the history of television since its inception to the present time. The fundamental subject of investigation are the pillars of programming, that helped HBO create the unique program concept. This concept is called edgy. HBO also focuses on its own production, and edgy concept works especially for the original production, which represents a milestone in the history of HBO (but also in the history of television broadcasting) . Television production is for the first time accepted as artistic work. Thus HBO strengthens its unique position and holds it till now. The second part of this diploma focuses on the current situation of broadcasting. The main mover of today is Internet and so-called on-demand services (video on demand - VOD). The US market offers many more options for watching audiovisual content via VoD then Europe market. Vital service is then Netflix, which represents the fastest-expanding on-demand service. Diploma thesis in the second part deals with on-demand services - the development of these services, and the limitations of the current situation. The thesis also deals with HBO position in relation to the video-on-demand. The cable television offers to its subscribers a complementary service HBO GO, and since 2015 also a stand-alone service called HBO Now, which is for the first time available for non-subscribers of cable television. The final part is therefore devoted to the future outlook of HBO. The author sees a successful future of cable television in combination of linear broadcast, VOD service with a friendly user interface and original production, in which is necessary to keep the edgy concept and follow the pattern of previous years, in which HBO actually offered in comparison to other broadcasters truely different production.
Preservation of photographs and drawings: an inspiration for smaller collections
Cíglerová, Tereza ; Doležalová, Kateřina ; Šíblová, Markéta ; Trnková, Petra
Methodology for care and basic conservation of photographic or drawing collections administered by rather small institutions who are limited in terms of space, budget or human resources. Among the target users belong organisations such as research institutes, private collections of social interest, as well as local museums collecting a whole range of material, but missing an expert in the field of photograph/drawing collection management and conservation. The methodology gives a wide range of information – encompassing basic recommendations for collection rescue, management and conservation treatments as well as information on international standards in the field of photograph and paper conservation.
