TITLE: Analysis of the tennis players' membership who were born between 1988-1995 within the junior categories in the West Bohemia region AUTHOR: Jakub Pivec DEPARTMENT: Katedra tělesné výchovy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of my work is to explore the junior tennis players' base in the West Bohemia region. Tennis players including girls born between 1988-1995 are the subject of the research. Figures about the players are analysed regarding the numerosity and their performance as well. On the basis of the analysed data a comparison among selected years of birth, between boys and girls and among years from individual years of birth within the junior age brackets from the total of all years of birth. Acquired results are interpreted and rationalised if possible. Outdoor Sport Courses for the 2nd Grade of Basic Schools in Liberec Region

This thesis describes Outdoor Sports Courses for the 2nd Grade of Basic Schools in Liberec Region. The theoretical part discusses the close topics such as activities and education at elementary schools or summer and winter outdoor sports courses. The goal of the thesis is to obtain information about outdoor sports courses for the 2nd Grade of chosen basic schools in Liberec Region, and to recommend instructions for the optimal course education. Two methods of interrogation were applied: a controlled interview with school principals and questionnaire for students in 9th grade of elementary schools. Based on the above-mentioned interrogation methods, the diversity of sports courses in nature was investigated. In addition, the issue of the course capacity or material issues and staffing at schools were investigated. The research also concentrates on the participation of students in the courses and the reasons of their non-participation as well as students' satisfaction with the selection of available courses. Based on the students' responses, the ranking of the most popular courses was created. The results of the investigation were incorporated into the overall statistics which provide a comprehensive assessment of the course education in chosen basic schools in the Liberec district. This bachelor thesis considers handball, Czech handball and the differences between these sports. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part lists the basic information about handball and Czech handball, states the important historic facts, and describes the rules and the main contrast between these sports. The practical part focuses on the interpretation of the data acquired by a quantitative research which was aimed at the respondent's knowledge about handball and Czech handball. Grappling combat sports is a contemporary topic that is concerned with an extensive issues. This Bachelor thesis has a descriptive function and deals with the origin, developmnet and basic techniques of grappling and combat sports. Virtually there are almost no sources and records of grappling written in czech language. Therefore the thesis deals with this issue from a broader point of view for the purpose of informing the public about this topic. It also describes the history and characteristics as well as the development of other martial arts that grappling is based on and bears some of their common. rules, basic terminology and prevention of possible injuries are included too. The practical part is aimed on training such as examples of training units, special introductory exercises and practice. Finally, these basic techniques and their decription are illustrated by photographs I've taken to better demonstrate the practice. The Bachelor Thesis has 83 pages, photographs included. TITLE: POSTWAR HISTORY OF THE FOOTBALL CLUB SOKOL LIBOČANY AUTHOR: Julius Holák DEPARTMENT: DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRAKT: The first aim of this work is to write a history of the football club Sokol Libočany. In terms of time is the theme of the work focused on the period from 1945, when the football club was founded, until 1998. Using the direct method of successive record chronologically successive periods. Results, reports, and the following trace information using the indirect method to integrate into a broader context and to try to predict the functioning of both the club and the team performance. Diachronic approach to monitor and capture the different seasons, as in itself followed. An overview of these individual matches, supplemented by additional information helps to understand the pitfalls of rural football, and its specific symptoms. Sport games in the physical education at secondary school

Physical activities are an important part of the life. Therefore this bachelor thesis is focused on sport games because they are one of the most popular physical activities. The main aim of this thesis was analysis of utilization of sport games in the Physical Education (P.E.) at secondary schools. The following partial aims were analysis of pupils and teachers attitude to sport games, their motivation, the way of teaching sport games at school, analysis of playing sport games in free time and to find out if schools are involed in a process of finding talented pupils. This thesis was divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on defining the sport games, describing the national education programme, the role of teacher and to describe the P.E. lesson. The following practical part is describing the research, methods and results. The research was based on questionnaire survey at secondary schools in Prague. The questionnaire was completed by 283 pupils and 19 teachers. It was find out that sport games were favourite by pupils and teachers and therefore sport games were played a lot in P.E. The most favourite games according to girls were dodgeball and wandering ball. The most favorite ones according to boys were football and floorball. These games were prefered by...
