School Injuries in Physical Education Classes at the Primary School

The aim of thesis is to provide a comprehensive picture of the selected areas of frequent school injuries in physical education classes in primary schools not only pedagogical, but also from a health point of view. The theoretical part deals with injuries of younger school age children, school injuries (especially in physical education classes) and their preventive measures, safety at work in physical education classes. It defines the most common types of injuries in physical education classes in primary schools, their prevention and following first aid. The work shows what to do in case of an accident of pupil and how to properly proceed directly at scene of the accident. To avoid legal penalties for teacher, we also mention the right way to report injury, injury record and we deal with book of injuries. Empirically oriented part and its questionnaire survey demonstrates what level of knowledges are reaching selected physical education teachers of elementary schools in the area of legal issues, injury prevention and laic first aid. Analysis of Physical Activities of Children at Primary School in the Selected Region

This work is focused on studying the outside-school physical activities of children visiting the 4th and 5th grades of primary school in Prague 9. It examines the children's relationship to physical activities. Through the survey I presented to ground school children, the work discovers if they do some sport activities, how they spend their free time, how their family influences their physical activities and if they take part in one-time physical activities events. Last but not least the work studies the children's view on the benefits of physical excercises.
Level of movement abilities of children aged from 11 to 15 years

The aim of this thesis is to determinate the level of physical abilities among 11 to 15 years old children. The level of physical ability was tested by using a battery of tests called Unifittest (6-60) which was the most suitable for this kind of testing. Testing itself was held at six schools, three of them were in Prague, the rest were outside of Prague. Testing is aimed to identify a potential change in the level of physical abilities boys and girls with increasing age. I would like to find out if the average results are becoming higher with higher age or if they are becoming lower. This testing also focuses on comparing average results of physical abilities of pupils from Prague and outside of Prague. It also focuses on types and frequency of sports activities which children perform in the framework of recreational and professional sports. I used questionnaire to monitor this. The results of my work show that the average level of physical ability is better among boys then among girls. In a more detailed exploration I found out that in some disciplines that had been tested the level of physical ability increases with age and in some disciplines is different in different age. Preference and Popularity of Individual Sport Activities among Older School - Age and Teenage Children in Kolín

This diploma thesis deals with the topic called "Preferences and Popularity of Individual Sports Branches by Children of Older School and Junior Age in Kolín". In the theoretic part I focused on definition of the main terms which occur in the name of the thesis as preferences, popularity, sports branch, children of older school age and children of junior age. Discovered data were processed on the basis of quantitative method via questionnaire survey and the evaluation was carried out via spreadsheet and statistical methods. The performed survey answered the stated survey questions from which emerged that children of older school age are more interested in performance sport. The most often performance sports done are football and dancing by both groups of the respondents. Further, girls would not change performance sport for their favourite one. Junior age children would like to do their favourite sport at performance level. Popularity of physical education does not vary by children doing sport for leisure or performance. Abstract The present research work deals with the influence of education to active leisure of adolescents accommodated in the school facility. It is mapping their leisure time physical activity and their relation to sport. First part focuses on specific characteristic of secondary school students in the field of developmental psychology. The following chapter is devoted to terminological concept of leisure time, physical activities, sport and its differentiation and also lifestyle. Second part maps with quantitative method of the survey the current state of leisure time physical activities of accommodated students of secondary school, secondary vocational school and grammar school . After that I chose the method of structured interviews with educators of individual educational groups. In conclusion of this work are stated the recommendations for theory and practice resulting from the facts of empirical investigation. Relations of air traffic control employees to sport and healthy life-style

The work consists of theoretical and research sections. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter explains the concept of health and healthy lifestyle, its structure and meaning. The second chapter deals with the psychological characteristic profile of the air traffic controller. The research part is focused on the evaluation of the attitude of air traffic controllers towards sport, healthy lifestyle and their use of the employer's organization's offer of benefits. It monitors the implementation of healthy lifestyle and sports activities. Combat Sports in the Physical Education at Middle Schools of Selected Region

The aim of the thesis is to analyze a current situation concerning combat sports education on the middle schools in Jinřichohradecký region. Theoretical part includes a brief description of the development of combat sports in the world as well as in the Czech Republic, characteristics and taxonomy of techniques, the importance of techniques and problems connected with education. In addition there is a list of combat exercises focused on pushing, pulling, wrestling and combat games. The research was based on the survey by (Reguli, Ďurech, Vít, 2007). There is a statistical data based on survey filled by pedagogues and students. The results indicated a significant popularity of combat exercises among schoolchildren however teachers often omit them.
