Customs of Muslim Family in the Czech Republic

The thesis "Customs of Muslim family in Czech Republic" is focused on the traditions and customs of Muslim family from the point of view of young Muslims who live in the Czech Republic, concretely in Prague. In the opening chapters islam, its origin and five principles of Islamic religion are introduced. Family, marriage, Muslim traditions, customs, feasts, ceremonies, celebrations and nourishment are emphasised in the following chapters. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, history od Islam and Muslims in Europe and Bohemian countries is mentioned and Muslim congregation and Islamic nadation in Prague are introduced as well. Second part of the thesis consists of empirical research. Methods and aims of the research are defined. Respondents and the analysis of data are described as well. Představa, že pro ekonomiku bude v budoucnu ministr školství důležitější než ministr obchodu se zdá na první pohled absurdní. Moderní hospodářství i sociální procesy jsou nicméně podmíněné globalizací, která klade nebývalé nároky na individuální schopnosti adaptace, komunikace a mobility. To s sebou nese i potřebu celoživotního učení, protože životní úspěch každého jednotlivce na celém světě dnes vyžaduje měnit profesi několikrát za život nebo se vyrovnat s rychlými proměnami kvalifikace, kterou získal během školního vzdělání. Evropská unie na tyto výzvy odpověděla v roce 2000 Lisabonskou strategií s jejími třemi pilíři - ekonomickým, sociálním a životního prostředí. Těmito třemi pilíři se potřeba celoživotního učení promítá v různých souvislostech. Pro pedagogiku je zásadní výzvou získávání klíčových kompetencí, které celoživotní učení v moderní době umožní. V České republice se v souvislosti s otevíráním země světové ekonomice a přistupováním do Evropské unie byla přijala celá řada školských dokumentů, jejichž implementací se má výrazným způsobem posunout schopnost jednotlivců uplatnit se na soudobém trhu práce. Changes to traditional way of life in soběslavsko-veselská Blata

The primary focus of this dissertation is how the traditional way of life in the czech environment and its specific form of Soběslavsko Veselí-Blat changed over time. This work focuses on the traditional livelihood of local people, who made a living through agriculture until the Czech Rural Collectivisation. The work also focuses on the changes in agriculture during specific local development and placing emphasis on 19th and 20th century when there were very substantial changes, not only in the methods of agricultural production and technology, but also in the way of life of local peasants. The livelihood of the local population also played an important role in peat extraction. The different functions were especially modified during the 20th century. Another focus of my work is folk culture and its changes over time, again focusing primarily on the 19th and 20th centuries. Local folk culture was extremely unique compared to the surrounding regions, as it always emphasized the importance of work. The richness and uniqueness of local folk culture is highlighted in their folk costumes, which were commonly used and preserved during the early 20th century. The aim of this work was describe the maintaining of the folk traditions, family and annual customs in the region in history and present too. The way for this work was study of regional historical literature and present life of Wallachian people.
Life of the Vietnamese in the Czech Republic

Tato práce pojednává o Vietnamcích žijících v České republice. Nejprve se zaměřuje na Vietnamskou socialistickou republiku, ze které Vietnamci do Evropy přicházejí. Přibližuje stručné dějiny této země a současnou ekonomickou a politickou situaci, která silně ovlivňuje vietnamskou migraci. Další kapitola pojednává o česko-vietnamských vztazích. Tyto vztahy se rozvíjí především od 50. let 20. století a během své existence prošly mnoha změnami. V současnosti se jedná především o finanční podporu Vietnamu ze strany České republiky. Ve třetí kapitole je možné se dočíst o životě Vietnamců v České republice, o svátcích a zvycích, které Vietnamci dodržují, o jejich mateřském jazyce, náboženské situaci a vztazích v rodině, které jsou charakteristické svou pevností. Následně tato práce přibližuje možnosti vzdělávání Vietnamců jak ve své vlasti, tak zde v České republice a upozorňuje na problémy, kterým musí vietnamské děti, jejich rodiče a učitelé čelit na českých školách. Poslední část této práce je věnována rozhovorům se dvěmi vietnamskými dívkami - Tran Thu Trang a Katrin Nguyen, které vypráví o svém životě v České republice, o vztahu k Vietnamu a své rodině.
Prague Cibulka estate as an example of heritage preservation

Abstrakt- anglicky The Bachelor's thesis The Estate "Cibulka" as an Example of the Monument Care aims to introduce and to describe the monument care mainly in the context of the Estate "Cibulka" as a specific cultural monument which is to be found in Košíře, Prague. After a general introduction to the development of the worldwide cultural heritage the thesis is focused on the Czech lands and local monument care, its changes, external influence and its present state. The cultural monument is the key issue of this thesis therefore its precise definition is mentioned there together with the process of proclaiming an object as a cultural monument and a description of rights and duties of the owner of a cultural monument. In relation to the Estate Cibulka the procedure of its legal protection as a cultural monument is explained. In order to have the full picture the other constituents of the protected monument fund are being listed in this thesis. The following part of the thesis is devoted directly to the Estate Cibulka, its history, its rise and dilapidation. The most important owners of the estate are introduced with a special attention paid to count Thun. Communicating curriculum reform to parents during their childrens first time class entry

This work is theoretical in nature, no empirical research is included. The text summerizes the state of the educational reforms in Czech Republic and the ways in which those are being communicated to parents of children in school age. Definitions of key components of the reform are provided.Emphasis is put on roles played by children entering school and their parents. These roles influence the style of communication between school and parents. The support of parents is critical in achieving success for the proposed changes. Therefore, a central part of this work treats communication flows and their quality. The British case is studied to provide a concrete proposal of the way communication of a school reform has been handled.
Values in life of people who live ecologically

The master thesis deals with life values of ecologically living people. It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In its theoretical part it focuses on terms used in ecology, lifestyle and the description of values linked to the protection of environment. It deals with the concept of sustainable development and describes ecological farming. The practical part of the thesis analyses the qualitative research which was done in the form of semi-structured interviews with ecological farmers. The thesis focuses on values, opinions and sentiments of ecological farmers and whether these have undergone any change during their farming.
