Bi-party political system in Czech lands 1938 - 1939: National Union Party and the National Labour Party

The diploma thesis deals with Czech political system in the second Czechoslovak Republic (1938 - 1939). In this historically short period, liberal democracy has changed into an authoritative democracy. The power of the right-wing parties prevailed in the political system. In the case of Czech countries a bi-party political system, which is unique in Czech history, has been created. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the political party system in the Czech lands in the Second Republic period, and to look at the political parties that formed it. It also deals with the Second Republic in general, with the historical, economic, cultural and social context of that time. In the final part, there are summarized all the conclusions I came to. The sources were mainly archive sources, specialized literature dealing with the subject and political party periodicals but even non-political periodicals from that time. Humanity and democracy againts inhumanity and totalitarianism

The twentieth century brought with it two periods of totalitarian experimentation that together resulted in the death of millions of people: Fascism in the form of German National Sozialism (Nazism) and Communism in the form of Soviet Stalinism. It was a great victory for the human spirit when both these totalitarian periods ended. People did learn a lot from them. Firstly, that human destitution was at the root of both these criminal regimes and in addition human malice together with the hatred of certain groups against others. It was this hatred that led to the criminal conspiracy of their leaders against other individuals who stood in their way. They misused the state as an instrument for the disposal of their opponents and found a "scientific" justification for their crimes. The philosophy of people who viewed progress as nothing more than using reason and who placed this above the other constituents of human life - above emotions, above the spirit of wisdom and the human moral values that make us complete unfettered - was twisted. These criminals against humanity were able to degrade an individual into a number, a race, a class, and suchlike categories. They deprived individuals of their humanity and humiliated them. Rules of conduct of a securities broker with respect to his/her customers

67 English Summary Title: Rules of Conduct of an Investment Firm towards Customers Summary: The purpose of my thesis is to analyse Czech legal regulation of business activities on capital market with focus on rules of conduct of an investment firm towards customers (henceforth only as "rules of conduct"). The reason for my research is that this regulation has been modified recently due to implementation of the EU directive on markets in financial instruments (so called MiFID. Therefore this topic is currently actual in this field of business. At the same time it is interesting to observe this special regulation on the background of general legal regulation especially regulation set up in Czech Commercial Code (but not only in this codex). The thesis is composed of nine chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of rules of conduct structured in chronological order. Chapter One is introductory and defines purpose and methodology of the thesis. In Chapter Two there is an entrance to the subject matter itself from historical and theological points of view. Web application development using .NET 5 and MVC6

The main concern of this thesis is the design and implementation of advanced Web application in ASP.NET 1.0 Core, consisting of a presentation web and administration section. A part of the thesis is also design of a custom architecture for a data source (CRUDQ) suitable for any application, whose implementation is further demonstrated in the developed web application. Selected database system is document database called MongoDB, which is accessed using the author designed architecture approach. Other important aspects of the work includes for example effective interconnection between MVC and MVVM architectures, which is achieved by custom generator of JavaScript data model. The generated data model is used by KnockoutJS framework to ensure the functionality of user interface. The web application is fully functional simple CMS, executable on three most widely used desktop operating systems, using the latest technology tools and design patterns.

Determination of value of the company

The aim of this Master's Thesis is to determine the value of cheese factory Orrero to December 1, 2013 for yet unknown buyer. The first part of the thesis deals with a theoretical basis for company valuation, there are stated reasons for evaluating the company and there is described a valuation procedure, followed by a description of strategic and financial analysis, financial plan and valuation methods. In practical, core part of the thesis I have presented Orrero enterprise and then I have worked out its valuation in accordance with the theoretical part of the work. As a valuation method there was chosen free cash flow to the firm.

Strategic analysis

The goal of this master thesis is execution of a strategy analysis. The subject of this analysis is electro-mobility i.e. products and services related to electric vehicles in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the paper is focused on approaches used for analyses of both external factors and forces affecting particular industry. The former is mainly focused on technology, regulations and incentives. The latter analysis is based on five forces supplemented by the role of complements. Actual status of the technology an analysed product is assessed by SWOT analyses. In the conclusion, final recommendations based on overall findings are stated.

Financial Analysis of ZVVZ-Enven Engineerins, a.s.

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis was the application of financial analysis on company ZVVZ-Enven Engineering in 2008-2012, which should reveal the overall financial health, to show its strengths and weaknesses, and to compare selected indicators of competition in the industry. Methods that have been used are described in the theoretical-methodological part and then applied to the analyzed company in the practical part. These include absolute, differential and ratio indicators, balance sheet rules or economic normals. There were also included pyramidal decomposition of return on equity, economic value added or bankruptcy and credibility models. All figures have been obtained from publicly available documents, primarily from annual reports and financial statements. The conclusion summarizes the results of the analysis on which was concluded the overall evaluation of the company.
