A Study of Customer Satisfaction in a Selected Organization

This Bachelor‘s thesis focuses on study of customer satisfaction at C&K, a.s., which sells, services and insures cars, also buys used ones. The questionnaire survey will help to find out the current customers satisfaction level and the proposal for the improvement will be submit.

The topic of the thesis is a technique for transporting food. The first part is devoted to the current requirements for transporting various kinds of foodstaffs, modes of transport, and more specifically devoted to truck transport of food under controlled temperature, which describes the construction of refrigerated bodies. The aim of the diploma thesis was to analysis impact of outside temperature and circumstances on fuel burnup of cooling system and towing truck. I have discovered that transportation of foodstaffs last longer in summer months than in winter months. It results from constant monitoring and recording of temperature and time period, during the way of 2 000km. The outcome of investigation brought interesting finding. Different temperature up to 50 °C increases burnup of cooling device.

The bachelor thesis consists of two parts - a translation of a chosen text (twenty standardised pages) and its commentary. The translated text is about the history of European integration and about the creation and development of the European Union. The commentary of the translation is comprised of a translation analysis of the source text, analysing its grammar, lexis, syntax and stylistics. This part of the thesis also describes the method of translation and comments on various translation problems of this text. The last chapter depicts the typology of translation processes that can be found in the translation.
Court interpreting as a communication process

The aim of this study is to contribute to the existing knowledge about court interpreting in the Czech Republic, focusing on court interpreting as a communication process. The study brings an overview of findings on court interpreting in both the international and Czech context, particularly regarding the definition of court interpreting, its professionalization, institutionalisation, academisation and the fields of research. It subsequently details the specific issues regarding court interpreting in the Czech Republic, i.e. the entities connected with court interpreting, formal conditions of working as a court interpreter, the relevant legislation and ethical codex in the field of court interpreting, the court interpreter's job in practice and a focus on interpreting during criminal trials. Furthermore, the study looks into communicative situations, forms of interpreting, the process of the trial in criminal procedures and the participants in communicative events. The core part of the study includes three case studies conducted on the basis of authentic recordings and the transcription of relevant parts of the interpreted trials in criminal procedures. Strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility in Hilton Worlwide company and its application in local conditions

This bachelor thesis focuses on strategy of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in company Hilton Worldwide. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with concept of corporate social responsibility, with the philosophy of CSR, its history and the present. This part also defines key words related to corporate social responsibility like CSR, stakeholders, corporate philanthropy, sustainable development, business ethics and corporate citizenship. It also focuses on the important role of communication in general and also in CSR. The practical part introduces the concept and strategy of CSR in the company Hilton Worldwide. This part also presents hotels Hilton Prague and Hilton Prague Old Town and their activities within the CSR. SWOT analysis as strategy tool was used to evaluate the concept and communication of CSR in both hotels. The final results of analyses showed problems in internal and external communication. Based on results of SWOT analysis are suggested solutions and recommendations that should improve understanding and perception of CSR concept in both hotels, improve internal communication for employees, and use all modern communication tools and channels for communicating information about CSR activities. These measures will lead to increased loyalty and strengthening the company's competitiveness.
