Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí - překladu vybraného textu v rozsahu dvaceti normostran a jeho komentáře. Překladový text pojednává o historii evropské integrace a vzniku a vývoji Evropské unie. Komentář překladu se sestává z překladatelské analýzy originálu, a zabývá se jeho gramatickou, lexikální, syntaktickou a stylistickou rovinou. Součástí komentáře je také metoda překladu a typologie překladatelských problémů daného překladu. Poslední kapitola se věnuje typologii překladatelských postupů, které se v překladu objevují. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts - a translation of a chosen text (twenty standardised pages) and its commentary. The translated text is about the history of European integration and about the creation and development of the European Union. The commentary of the translation is comprised of a translation analysis of the source text, analysing its grammar, lexis, syntax and stylistics. This part of the thesis also describes the method of translation and comments on various translation problems of this text. The last chapter depicts the typology of translation processes that can be found in the translation.
