Photographic Poster at the Art Education

ANOTATION This thesis examines a discourse of photography and poster, with the aim to join these two phenomena into a single summary theory and create their general characteristics. The work searches for intersections between photography and graphic design/poster and applies them in the theory of poster creation. In the didactic part, the theoretical principles are introduced into teaching art classes at primary schools. The same approach is applied in the artwork itself. Antique inspiration, Czech fine art and school education - Alone in Athens

This thesis intends to assess various inspirations of Czech art of the nineteenth, mainly twentieth century by ancient Greek tradition. Special emphasis is given to following two viewpoints: travelling on the one side and body and physicallity on the other. The first part concerns itself with artists travelling south to discover new impulses for their work, the second one deals with various approaches to body and physicallity inspired by Greek art. The didactic section presents an application of these topics to the elementary school Art Education. The practical part consists of two series of photos describing the subjective view of the present Greek metropolis.

Kočová, K.: Forms of contemporary czech illustration for the youngest readers. /Thesis/ Prague 2011 - Charles University, Faculty of education, department of art education, 86 pages. The thesis deals with contemporary tendencies in illustrations for the youngest readers. It compare the work of contemporary Czech artists, who do illustrations for young children as a 'kitsch'. The thesis analyzes the phenomenon of 'kitsch' and utilizes concrete examples from books or magazines for children. The didactic section focuses on work with illustrations in the first grade of primary school. It explores children's reactions to the artwork of contemporary artists as well as the attitude of teachers to this art. Material, matter and animated film in art education

Experiment with material and matter in animated film. Various methods and techniques are illustrated with work of regarded authors of animated films, who deal with that sort of experiment. A brief history of animated film and experiment with material in art constitutes the base of the theme. The relation of a child and an animated film and a material experiment in game is described in the didactic part. I also pay a deeper attention there to the process of making an animated film, so that i was able to design a didactic project about the title subject. In the applied part i clarify the sources of my inspiration and impulses leading to the realization of my art project.
Minimal art and minimal music

Pavla Šedinová: Minimal art and minimal music Abstract: This thesis focuses on the theoretical description of minimalism in the fine arts and music. It follows the progression of minimisation in art in the first half of the twentieth century, which culminates in minimal art and minimal music, and compares its principles with multiplication in the work of Andy Warhol and Velvet Underground. At the same time the paper discusses the difference between American minimalism and its European and Czech parallels. The aim of this thesis is describing main concepts of minimalism that could be relevant for teaching purposes. The pedagogical part of the thesis focuses on the manner in which the obtained information about the fine arts and music could be utilised in teaching, particularly in Elementary Art Schools. The practical part demonstrates my own approach to minimalist principles.
Contemporary printmaking and art education

Linda Arbanová, PhD. This is a theoretical study investigating the present-day free graphic arts (designs). It describes the main trends, materials and techniques used. The text contains an an- notated selection of several Czech and foreign authors, which illustrates the different mainstreams of contemporary graphic arts. The didactic part of this study contains a research on the topic entitled Relation of Ba- sic-School Students to the Graphic Arts and a suggestion of a didactic approach to Art teaching based on the results of the research. The creative part of the study shows my own works-based on the topic: Time of Natu- re-made with the combined technique of digital print and linocut.

Monitoring is the artistic development of Brandeis, the principles of the Bauhaus and Johannes Ittena didactics. On the basis of preserved relic and historical sources are specified and documented the nature of methodology applied in Terezin. Content are observed with regard to the current didactics of arts and methods can be ispiring. Teaching part is devoted to contemporary educational and social institutions in which teaching practice has been implemented and these pictures were made at the art part of the thesis.
