Proportion of calcium in selected dairy products
ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis deals with the most important mineral substances that are found in milk and the role of calcium in the human body. It also characterizes the calcium content and its availability in selected dairy products and other foods. The next part deals with the issue of lactose intolerance - definition, manifestations, diagnosis and treatment. The last part is devoted to analytical methods used to determine the calci-um content of milk.
Relations among sunshine, global radiation, cloudiness and day longitude at Hradec Králové
Schovánková, Jana ; Sládek, Ivan (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Tereza (referee)
The work deals relations among sunshine, global radiation, cloudiness and day longitude. The main purpose of this work is to utilize indirect calculation methods for determination of some basic characteristics of global solar radiation from data of the bright sunshine duration, cloudiness and day longitude. The work is based on such methods, which were used by Karel Vaníček and the others from the Solar and ozone observatory in Hradec Králové. Their aim was to apply them in the utilization of solar renewable energy sources. The work solves this topic by other statistical methods and approaches. It was used data from the Solar and ozone observatory CHMI (The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute) in Hradec Králové, which has dealed with problems of the solar radiation for a long time. It was applied a period of complete daily sums of the solar radiation, cloudiness and the sunshine duration from the year 1999 to 2008. The second part of this work is concerned with a definition of the winter period of the bright sunshine duration in the Giant Mountains and compares it with Prague. It was used data from two meteorological stations. The first one is located in the Giant mountains - the Labská Bouda station and the second station in Prague - the Praha - Libuš station to make a comparison between higher...
Acoustic-gravity waves at ionospheric heights generated by meteorological activity in the troposphere
Šindelářová, Tereza
Acoustic-gravity waves at ionospheric heights generated by meteorological activity in the troposphere Tereza Šindelářová The study deals with observations of ionospheric effects of convective storms in the troposphere, particularly with observations of acoustic-gravity waves in the period range 1-30 min. Convective storms are a source of a broad wave spectrum. The waves propagate partly into the upper atmosphere where they contribute to changes of the structure, dynamics, and composition of the atmosphere. The results of observations in the Czech Republic were compared with the results obtained in the 1960s and 1970s in the central part of the USA. Convective storm develop in both regions under different conditions and thus may act different as far as their influence on the upper atmosphere is considered. Acoustic gravity waves generated by severe tropospheric weather do not carry any label which would help to identify them. One of the ways to distinguish acoustic-gravity waves of tropospheric origin is to recognize waves generated by other sources. Here, a method was proposed that could help to find waves generated by fluctuations the geomagnetic field which is one of the most common sources of ionospheric waves. Ionospheric infrasound generated by convective storms was rarely observed in the Czech...

Influence of terrain of the Hrubý Jeseník Mts. on wind directions
Razím, Matyáš ; Křížek, Marek (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Tereza (referee)
The thesis is concerned with a prominent phenomenon of the mountain areas - the anemo- orographic systems which occur as a consequence of the collaboration of prevailing winds and of the large windward valleys, the summit flattened surfaces and the leeward slopes. Their presence has a vast influence of numerous physical-geographical realms, mainly due to the highly uneven spatial snow cover distribution within these systems. The focus of the thesis lies on the highest elevations of the Hrubý Jeseník Mts. which reach or exceed the alpine treeline. In this area, the anemo-orographic systems were already defined earlier but a thorough description and of their presence and activity has not been carried out so far, which is the main aim of the thesis. A detailed and spatially compact mapping and measurement of the flag or banner trees has been performed, as these, thanks to their deformed asymmetric shape, attest to the prevailing or mean wind direction as well as its velocity with a high accuracy. As a secondary and comparative data source the meteorological measurements from the summits of Praděd and Šerák Mounts and a modern and detailed wind model has been used. A verification measurement of snow cover depth at selected locations under presumed strong wind action was executed as well. The acquired...
Foreign television production and its influence on Czech production of criminal series
Šindelářová, Tereza ; Štoll, Martin (advisor) ; Bednařík, Petr (referee)
The work analyses the influences of foreign TV productions on the form of Czech crime series. It focuses on a current production of crime series worldwide and on the most dominant trends coming from different countries, which form the work of Czech authors. It aims to find out points of intersection that connect the crime genre generally, and also elements which are specific for the Czech production within the genre. On the basis of interviews with Czech directors and screenwriters of crime series, an analysis of three selected Czech crime series, Kriminálka Anděl, Policie Modrava and Labyrint, and their comparison with other Czech and foreign crime series, specific influences within the Czech production are derived through the used elements and methods that the authors tend to engage.
