Pollens of Selected Alergenic Plants and Their Didactic Use in Teaching Biology at High Schools
Pýchová, Adéla ; Skýbová, Jana (advisor) ; Říhová, Dagmar (referee)
7 Abstract The thesis is focused on the pollen of selected allergenic plants. Thesis is structured into two parts., pollination and fertilization , development of the pollen grain , its structure and chemical composition. The end of the theoretical part, dedicated to allergies, is divided into subsections dealing with First, teoretical part describes the flower and its morphology, discusses the pollen grain, stamen anatomical structure immunity and allergies, naming and registration of allergens and cross- pollen allergy . The practical part contains an analysis of curriculum for students of secondary schools. An integral part of the work is a survey of teachers in secondary schools, in which method of questioning was used. Based on the results of a questionnaire survey of secondary school teachers, teaching materials have been developed in the form of two worksheets for teaching botany and guidance on laboratory exercises in plant biology.
Selected Arthropods as Human Ectoparasites
Vacková, Karolína ; Hanel, Lubomír (advisor) ; Říhová, Dagmar (referee)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to emphasize how significantly human life can be influenced even by small organisms such as castor bean tick, head louse and bed bug. A listing of possible complications and diseases that we can encounter in everyday life in connection with these representatives is presented in this work. Treatment options are mentioned as well but the work focuses mainly on prevention. The introductory part of the thesis defines parasitism as a very specific life strategy. This phenomenon is seen here from many angles, and the individual types of parasitism are complemented by examples of specific parasitic representatives. The next part of the thesis deals only with selected hematophagous ectoparasites. The physical structure, developmental stages, occurrence of these arthropods and also their effects on the host are described here. The final part of this work focuses on the use of arthropod parasitology in teaching. The chapter includes several exercises that could be used to teach parasitology at primary or secondary school, as well as a test of pupils' hygiene literacy and linking parasitism to other educational subjects. The text was written using many biologically focused articles and other specialized literature. KEYWORDS: arthropods, human ectoparasites, prevention

It captures the specifics of the area and its landscape potential, it also includes an overview of didactic methods of teaching with use for scientific observation. The most important part consists of a catalog of stations suitable for nature walks and excursions, which should facilitate the search of accessible areas. Each catalog station has a thematic focus, its location and accessibility, brief characteristics and key terms are described. The practical part consists of pedagogical research and didactically compiled suggestions of practical activities serving as a guide for activities with pupils. Part of this is documentation of pedagogical practice during which selected catalog themes were tested. The set of documents for implemented excursions is structured in...
