Sex classification using external and internal morphology of frontal bone: application in forensic science and bioarcheology

This master's work was focused on the assessment of sexual dimorphism of external and internal morphology of frontal bone. Sexual diagnosis based on external surface of frontal bones and volume and surface of frontal sinuses was carried out using geometric morphometrics methods. Our approach used anonimized CT scans of 103 skulls from recent Czech population, from which 3D models of frontal bones and frontal sinuses were created. At first the analysis was aimed at studying form and shape of external surface of frontal bone. Our methodology is based on the work of Musilová et al. (2016) that estimates sex using exocranial surface of the entire skull. We analyzed variability and tested differences in males and females frontal bones. The main target of this work was sex classification. The highest success rate acquired 86,41 % with the first 20 main components of form. The following part of this study was focused on sex estimation using the methodology developed by Bulut et al. (2016), which was applied in Turkish population. This method classified Czech males and females with accuracy 70,87 %. This Diploma thesis aims to identify the Barriers to entry for those who have decided for entrepreneurial activity in the market for Drugs. The main aim of this work is to decide whether it is appropriate to Enter the market or not. In the Theoretical part of the work thoroughly describes the different business strategies, especially PEST analysis, analysis of the industry environment and analysis of competitive forces in the industry according to Porter. In the practical part of the thesis analyzes applied to the pharmaceutical industry and identifies the barriers to entry for new businesses that market. The thesis also includes the formation of the new pharmacy and all requirements related to it. In the final part of the thesis formulated recommendations which should serve prospective operators to decide whether to enter the industry or not.

The Master thesis named "Model situations and ornamental counterpoint in The Well Tempered Clavier, book 1, by J. S. Bach" deals with the musical language of composers, specially one like J. S. Bach. The first chapters shows historical facts about when the work was written, explains facts about the instrument and tuning. The second chapter explains the method of analysis, which is based on German musical theorists. Thethird chapter explains, what model situations are and their importance for a musician. In the fourth chapter I speak about ornaments in general and which importance they have for a musician, who is specialized on Baroque music. the fifth chapter deals with the prelude and his history, the sixth chapter deals with the fugue, and explains the process of composing. In the seventh chapter I analýze a fex compositions from the Well Tempered Clavier, book 1, to show different kinds of preludes and fugues in detail.

The historical development of cadences with a view to the baroque keyboard repertoir

My Bachelor thesis The historical development of cadences with a view to the baroque keyboard repertoir deals with the terminology of cadences. It defines the word "cadence", puts into contrast different kinds of cadences, which are elaborated in a historical context.
The first chapter is about the history of cadence closes from the Gregorian chant to the cadences defined by J.-Ph.Rameau, standard types as we know them these days. The second chapter explains different types of ornamental cadences. After an overview I concentrate on the cadence in baroque keyboard music, especially as it occurs in the work of C.Ph.Em.Bach.

The analysis of shopping conditions and consumer behaviour in a particular city

This thesis deals with shopping conditions in the city of Louny and analysis of shopping behaviour of consumers buying grocery in retail stores located in Louny. In theoretical part of the thesis there is described retail network, business facilities of the city and different types of retail units. Further, the thesis deals with factors influencing shopping behaviour of consumers and summarizes current trends in consumer's behaviour in the Czech Republic. Practical part of thesis focuses on describing retail units in Louny and interpreting results of research concerning behaviour of consumers in Louny. Finally, the data from research are compared with the Czech trends of shopping behaviour.
