The Study of the Production Process Selected Technologies
Rosecká, Eva ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This work is focusing on the tracking of selected orders in a company which is mainly engaged in piece production of castings. The aim is, based on the tracking of the course of the pre-production and production phases, to analyse the production process bottlenecks. This is carried out by means of the information system used in the company and through daily tracking of the selected orders. The ascertained time data are divided into the time necessary for the production and the lost time. The scheduled and the actual production times, from order receipt up to the shipment of a finished casting, are entered in the Gantt diagram. In conclusion the work deals with the evaluation of the time lost in production and the proposals for making production more effective are offered.
Mechanical and technological properties of duplex steels depending on PREN values
Nejedlý, Zdeněk ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis deals with stainless austenitic-ferritic (duplex) steels and their mechanical and technological properties. The first part focuses on introducing these high-alloy materials. The second part describes the influence of chemical composition on the mechanical properties, technological properties and steel structure. There was also observed the effect of heat treatment and steel melting under reduced pressure.
Metallurgy and properties of heavy steel castings
Kubík, Jiří ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
The work deals with the determination of the chemical composition and morphology of inclusions in experimental casting foundry in operating conditions as ŽĎAS in compliance with the optimum content appropriate deoxidation depending on the conditions of solidification. The introductory part is devoted to theoretical analysis of possible defects in castings. We also describe the experimental casting, sampling sites and their markings. Subsequently evaluated morphology microanalysis inclusions and the effect of inclusions on the mechanical properties and the formation of defects in the casting. The conclusion summarizes the results and proposal for further direction in the production of heavy steel castings.
Influence of chemical composition of steel on structure and properties of stainless steels
Valenta, Pavel ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
The thesis is focused on high-alloy austenitic and austenitic-ferritic (duplex) steel. The theoretical part includes research about high-alloy steels and basic introduction to this issue. In the practical part of the test there were casted refractory austenitic steel 30CH3N17G2L, duplex stainless steel 1.4462, low carbon steel and high carbon steel. On the castings of austenitic steel were made mechanical and technological tests. There were evaluated the effects of different casting temperature and casting wall thickness to the microstructures and macrostructures of steel, tensile strength and charpy impact tests. The technological tests compared technological properties of these steels.
Optimization of heavy steel castings manufacture
Procházka, Zdeněk ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Šenberger, Jaroslav (advisor)
The Master’s thesis was conducted under the project FR-TI1/070 “Optimalization of heavy steel casting manufacture” in cooperation with ŽĎAS a. s. foundry. It evaluates rate of conchoidal fracture in samples extracted from experimental castings. The testing bar for the static tensile test were extracted from thermal axis of casting. The research part describes ways of deoxidating the liquid metal and usage of separate deoxidating chemical parts, followed by summary of research knowledge on conchoidal fractures. In the practical part, the process of sample evaluation is described. The conchoidal fracture, the surface of which was evaluated on the fracture surfaces, influences mechanical qualities of cast steel. Simultaneously, impacts of metallurgical factors on rate of conchoidal fracture were examined
Manufacture and defects of heavy castings
Vymazal, Aleš ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
Objective of diploma thesis is to proceed analysis of actual technology in operational terms for concrete casting of bearing . Constructed by foundry of steel ŽĎAS a.s., Žďár nad Sázavou. After designing changes in technological process accomplish detail evaluation of mechanical properties and chemical homogenity of metal at selected parts of sample casting.
The Feasibility Study of Small Company
Hošek, Martin ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (advisor)
This masters’s thesis deals with a feasibility study of restaurant creation, which should fill a gap in the market. Suggestions for a solution relating to the enterprise and enabling the company to optimally entry to the market are presented, based on theoretical knowledge, empirical facts and analysis.
Evaluation of a Financial Situation in a Firm and Proposals to its Improvement
Čech, Jan ; Čech, Martin (referee) ; Zinecker, Marek (advisor)
Master’s Thesis describes analysis of the financial situation company S&K LABEL, spol. s.r.o. in the period 2004 - 2007 through the chosen methods. It diagnoses strong and weak sides of the company and proposes possible solutions, which will lead to improvement of the financial situation for this company in the future.
Heat treatment of steels
Rosecká, Eva ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Šenberger, Jaroslav (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the questions of heat treatment of steels. The literature search explains the basic methods and principles of heat treatment of steels, the iron-carbon chart of equilibrium structure and the IRA and ARA charts of non-equilibrium structure. At-tention is also paid to the equipment for heat treatment of steels, and the principal mechanical properties that are used in the evaluation of steels are explained in brief. The experimental section contains the comparison of three creep-resisting steels in term of “as cast” condition, heat treated steel using operation procedures and laboratory-processed at up-per temperatures specified by the standard. These steels are mostly used in power industry at high temperatures. Their structure and mechanical properties were monitored at various phases of castings production. In conclusion, statistical evaluations and the comparison of those three materials are worked out within the scope of fifty heats.
Quantification of expenses in case of human death due to traffic accident and finding ways how to prevent them
Slánský, Josef ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Čech, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis examines the issue of acceptability of a particular transportation project. It is objective is to capture the expenses which arise from a traffic accident. on this basis the goal is to express all expenses of the human death and to compare them with the specific transportation project. In addition to this, different means of accident prevention are to be figured out within the support of public safety. The whole thesis is split into four parts. The first part describes the accidents on Czech roads. The second part deals with the specific expression methodology of the human death. The third shows the real transportation project and the last section evaluates if the expenditure on the implementation of particular project exceed the expenses caused by the accident.
