Life time of climbing ropes for climbing a rappeling on the artificial wall

Title: Utilization of Modern Methods of Immobilization (casts), at Individuals with an Injury of Locomotive System, in The Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to bring an actual information about proportion of using casts, in comparison with other methods of conservative immobilization, at individuals with an injury of locomotive system, in The Czech Republic. Moreover, the work aims to identify 3 most frequent reasons for using cast and 3 reasons for not using it. Methods: There is a sample of respondents, selected from professionals dealing with a treatment of locomotive system (n = 204). The sample consists of medical doctors working in hospitals (n = 67) as well as doctors working in out-patient ambulatory care segment (n = 137). With respect to doctors specialization, the sample consits of surgeons (n = 141) and orthopaedists (n = 63). Selection of the sample of respondents was randomized. Data were gathered by telephonic questioning (interview). Based on quantitative analysis of the data, both - relative usage of casts and three reasons supporting or limiting its utilization - were identified. Úvod do problematiky Horolezectví je dnes chápáno jako tradiční disciplína spojená s dobrodružstvím, překováváním výzev a v neposlední řadě i s "přátelstvím na laně". Koncem devadesátých let minulého století se definitivně etablovala disciplína, která stála na počátku horolezectví, pak byla odsunuta a v době nedávno minulé je opět správně chápána. Jedná se o sportovní lezení, kde stojí na prvním místě lezecký pohyb, jeho volnost a rozmanitost. Sportovní lezení a horolezectví je sport, pro mnohé spíše životní styl, který člověka pohltí s nevídanou intenzitou. Rozlišnost a rozmanitost dává lezcům prostor pro seberealizaci v dimenzích překonávání několika obtížných lezeckých kroků až po mnohodenní výstupy ve vertikále. Sportovní činnosti jsou v mnohých případech spojeny se soutěžením, není tomu jinak i v horolezectví. Nejdříve se vyhodnocovaly nepřímé soutěže, reprezentované významnými výstupy, ale po určité době se vytvořil systém přímých soutěží, které jsou v současné době reprezentovány systémem regionálních soutěží až po seriál světového poháru. Díky technizaci našeho života se do popředí dostávají disciplíny s nádechem dobrodružství. Možnosti lezeckých aktivit se za posledních deset let v České republice mnohokrát navýšily. FTVS UK Motivace k vybraným sportům v přírodě 2010 ABSTRAKT Name: The motivation to selected outdoor sports. The aim of the work: The aim of the study is motivation to selected outdoor sports and it's components. We will try to divide motivational components meaningfully into categories to comparate the importance for doing outdoor activities for each individual case of sport. We will continue on study, which was made in Germany (2001) and comparate our results. We'll try to interpret potential differences in motivation and it's components between Czech and German part of population in our study. In the end we will focus on what motivates us to outdoor activities. Method: In our work we have chosen the method of questionnaire. Results of work were processed in programs - Excel and SPSS Results: We have found out, that we are able to define an universal tipe of outdoor sportsman. It's an individual, for whom is important outdoor action with friends, during which he relaxes physically and mentally, at the same time he's looking for activities beneficial to our health, during which he improves his performance. Utilization of climbing walls on Basic and Secondary schools

Theme: Utilization of climbing walls on Basic and Secondery schools. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine how many elementary and secondary schools in Prague own climbing wall and how much of these walls of this number are used in physical education lessons. Furthermore, we were wondering, how many schools attend the climbing walls in physical education lessons. Method: The thesis is made up as a field survey with questionare. There were prepared two non- standardized questionares with closed questions. First questionare was made up for schools which own climbing wall and second was made up for schools which attend the climbing wall. First questionare is divided into three sections (general information, technical specifications, education on the wall) and contains 20 questions. Second questionare has only one section, containing 6 questions aimed for the artificial climbing wall, which they attend. Data were processed by the procesor Excel. Results: The thesis gives a comprehensive overview of all elementary and secondary schools in Prague, which own an artificial climbing wall and use it in physical education lessons. Title: Energy performance ski mountaineering Aim: The aim of the thesis is to measure energy expenditure, depending on the slope and constant speed. method: Empirical Research Association for 9 skialpinist mid- level performance. Calculation of the working metabolic or heart rate. VO2. results: The research results confirm the scientific issue, check with magnifying angle of slope at a constant speed and increasing energy expenditure. The second part of the scientific questions confirms multiple increase energy expenditure when compared to the output slope rovinatému terrain. The use climbing games in children

N ame in English: The use of climbing games in children and youth Aim: The main goal was to assemble a collection of climbing games for children and youth assess the suitability of selected climbing games for certain ages (children under the age 6-lllet, children over the age of 12 lSlet). Method: The collection was compiled on the basis of its long experience in climbing games and drawing from French, English and German literature. The appropriateness of including individual Games was investigated by unstructured interviews with six instructors who selected games applied in practice. Results: Proceedings of climbing games includes a total of 57 games. The largest application of climbing games We find in younger children.
