Measurement of effective deployment format for lines in RAKO III

The bachelor thesis deals with the optimal production batches in the ceramic industry and to some extent the stock solution. In the theoretical part I try to summarize the issues concerning the optimal production batches, then the issue of stock, then the costs and theories of two models for calculating the optimal production batch. The next section deals with the characteristics of the firm. Explaining further production of ceramic tiles. The practical part then all the theoretical knowledge is applied to the particular case of the production of ceramic tiles. For the factory at Lubné Rakovník I was able to determine the optimal production batch sizes for each tile, the sensitivity of the cost of scaling benefits versus optimal production rate and ultimately the optimal length of production cycle.

The thesis deals with operative production management at the company Ekvita s.r.o., which specializes in jobbing production in the mechanical industry. The thesis describes the company from the operational management and operative production control perspective. Emphasis is also laid on the programme equipment of the production management, namely the Herakles programme. The thesis aims to examine its capabilities and to suggest an upgraded application within the company. Particular suggestions can be found in the closing part of the thesis.

ZKL Brno, a.s. is manufacturer of rolling and special bearings. The introductory part contains definitions of purchase, reengineering, centralization or stock mnagement. Then a short company description and a description of the original condition of the purchase follows. The main goal of this thesis is to find mistakes in the management of purchase with the help of commodity analysis, personnel analysis and stock analysis. In the end there is a new directive for purchasing presented.

Energy management in office buildings

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide the reader with the comprehensive overview of the Energy Management. Nowadays, most companies are focusing on costs types of processes. It is important to stop all uneconomical utilization of sources. The energy management is important way of saving funds. The project management know-how and acquired knowledge were used in this bachelor thesis for resolution of problem with wastage of energy (especially electricity) in office buildings. It has been found that it is important to support energy management in the company. In this thesis, it is shown how to implement system of energy management in concrete conditions of company. The proposal was created for project "Unit process of energy management in ČEZ Group". Aims of project are to optimize indirect costs in building administration and to establish process based integrated system of energy management.

Position of second-tier Southeast Asian newly industrializing countries in the ASEAN

Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, which are known as the second-tier Southeast Asian newly industrializing countries (NICs), advanced in industrialization and achieved high growth rates during past 50 years. These countries are also founding members of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). Both the countries and the ASEAN have experienced a lot of changes and this paper tries to identify their current mutual position. First chapter describes the factors which influenced the economic development and industrialization in the second-tier NICs. Second chapter explains the reason of the developing countries to pursue regional integration and then characterize the establishment and development of ASEAN. Third chapter examines the importance and the position of second-tier NICs in the ASEAN from economic and politic perspective.

The bachelor thesis describes the production process and focuses on the system of planning from the point of acceptance of the order to its completion. On the basis of obtained facts it is possible to find weaknesses of system of planning the production and it tries to suggest possible steps to improve the present situation. This thesis draws attention both to the shortcomings of software for planning the production and the lack of creative and experienced workers.

Marketing research is the core business of the STEM/MARK, a. s. The introductory part is about the theoretical basis for analyzing processes of the marketing research company and introduction of the company. The main goals are the analysis of processes with a focus on marketing research workers in CATI studio (especially the definition of their roles in processes), identification of narrow parts of processes, description of the fundamental problems and creating corrective arrangements. Used methods are standardization of work and working time balance. In the final section are presented verifying the functionality of models and standards in practice.
