Design of electric control small dispersed sources on the basis PLC
Morávek, Jan ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the basic theoretical knowledge on the problems of controlling the small hydro power plants. Briefly lists the basic requirements for the control system and provides an overview of the available automation systems. The main part of the thesis describes the requirements for the control system and its specific design based on the Unitronics PLC.
Mathematical modeling of a wind turbine
Osička, Aleš ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to acquaint the readers with basic classification of wind turbine configuration by used electric generator, with speed and power control used in power plants and with mathematical model of wind and parts of power plant. Procedure of making model in applications Mathematica and MathModelica is described in the other part of this paper. There were made models of power plants with squirrel cage asynchronous generator, one with pitch control, the other with stall control. In the last part of the thesis comparison of model behavior of both models with the same input conditions was made.
Design of protection against lightning and data distributions photovoltaic plant
Manduch, Viliam ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problems associated with the lightning. It deals with the stablishment, descriptions and analyzes of risk the living organisms and objects are facing. The work focuses on the description and implementation of protection against these adverse effects. Its objective is to devise a system for lightning protection for chosen PV power plant to meet the requirements of standard of EN 62305. The work is also the analysis of shadow effects in the collecting system for PV power systems.
The Economic Effectiveness of Wind Power Project
Vániš, Jiří ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
The following text is devoted to wind power stations. It shows basic distribution of wind engine according to the principle of their function and suitability of their use for power generation. It shows the parameters that must satisfy the suitable sites for building wind power stations and it shows wind maps of the Czech Republic. There are described some of the most frequently installed machines in the Czech Republic. Next chapters describe the economics running part of wind power stations; analyze the basic cost-sharing, mention methods of tax depreciation of tangible assets, the redemption value of electrical energy from renewable sources. There are chosen some of the most used methods for assessment the economic efficiency of wind power stations. There are common methods of static and dynamic in terms of time value of money, the possibilities and limitations of their use. This information is a basis for designing and implementing a program to calculate the economic efficiency of wind power station. The goal is to create a computer program based on your input values and calculation methods to calculate the economic indicators and economic effectiveness of project wind power station in terms of total investment coasts and on equity capital projects. Based on evaluation of data it will be ready to determine whether the investment in to the construction of wind power station can provide the required funding.
Accumulation of Energy from Renewable Energy Sources
Heller, Ondřej ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The objective of the first part of master’s thesis is mapping the potential of various types of renewable sources in Europe and Czech Republic, especially solar energy, wind energy, water energy and biomass. There are described principals and ways of energy generation from these sources, brief overview of current technologies, and also their advantages and limitations. An important part is electric supply continuity from renewable sources, there are large differences and the resulting to restrictions on construction and connecting the units to the power system. In this work there are mentioned some impacts on network and rates of change of supply, some sources are also evaluated in terms of maximum power, that can be connected to the power system in our country. The conclusion of the first part is dedicated to energy storage technologies, which are suitable and usable for renewable sources, there are described their principals, properties, status of development and types of aplications, in which these technologies are used. This chapter also focusses on the price level of each technology. The second part of the thesis deals with 1 MWp on-grid photovoltaic power plant design. This design includes also the redox flow batteries accumulation, the first variant calculates on 24-hour steady energy supply, the second optimalized variant calculates on daily energy supply. There are the accumulation system costs estimated and also the payback period for the both variants. Additionally there is also determined minimum penalization for cost-effective operation. The last part is dedicated to changes of impact on the local grid and changes of system impacts, after the accumulation system is installed.
RES utilization in CR with a view to utilization biogas and waste gases
Dvořák, Jan ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
In this paper was described the topic of the Renewable Resources of Energy utilization in Czech Republic. The summary follows RRE utilization generally. There are described the most often used methods and ways of RRE utilization in our country here.
Optimizing installation of cogeneration units in family house
Novotný, Jan ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The work deals with usage of heat energy from cogeneration unit in a family house. It is focused especially on the use for family house's heating and warming of service water. Optimalization is made on existing cogeneration units. In this work we will handle with two types of cogeneration units of different capacities. From the beginning we concern in current situation and the possibilities of regulation. Further we deal with the possible ways of optimalization of winter and summer running and with the costs for these optimalizations.
Model of Bulk Energy Accumulation
Radil, Lukáš ; Barath, Peter (referee) ; Gregor, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this pursuit is to introduce the reader about the questions of the accumulation of the electric energy and to outline possibilities of its design and what instruments is possible to get it. The other purpose is to inscribe possibilities of today´s attachment of dispersive sources to the net from the sight of the ERU, eventually from the sight of the UCTE. This persuit describes the posibility of the accumulation of adequate dimensions from renewable resources, the modern trends in this area and the prediction of future progress. The two most proper types of the energy accumulation are chosen by the following process with regarding to the optimal resolution of the given questions. The general balance will be ana-lysed by the comparison of their basic parameters. The other point of this pursuit is to try to realize a small model of the accumulation through the hydrogen´s cycle, it comes to that we can develop the efficiency and influence by the help of the electrolyzer and the metalhydride reservoir is realized energy of accumulation . In the conclusion of this pursuit is the appreciation of the whole project with the view of partly economical and especially with the view of the prospective usage into the electric grid
Communication strategies in the company
Radil, Lukáš ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Ošmera, Jiří (referee)
Application-oriented work on the theme "Communication strategies in the company" is solving problems with corporate communications solution in companies. It is a reaction to the ever-present poor and nonconceptual marketing communication whether it's a small or large firm. The aim of this work is to provide an overview of communication tools and to show on concrete company, that for the formation of functional integrated commercial communication is not always required expensive advertising agency. The theoretical section summarizes the essence of communication strategy and business planning process with emphasis on the concept of IMC - integrated marketing communications followed by a list of commercial communication tools, including brief description and examples from practice. Detail is given to new trends in marketing and the issue of online marketing and use of social networks. In the practical part, the goal is to propose communication strategy for newly founded agency. First step is a detailed analysis of the position, target audience and competition. Then I establish a communication strategy corresponding with business goals and results of analysis. After that, appropriate communication tools are identified and design of use is outlined. In the end I also establish benchmarks for success assessment, timetable and estimated budget for implementation of the proposed strategy.
