Real consumption of primary energy of plug-in hybrid and electric cars

The topic of bachelor thesis is to evaluate a consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids depending on the place of the operation and also to compare a particular representative with similar classic cars with combustion engine. Another criterion used for evaluation is the emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer. For the consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids is essential to know how is the electricity produced in the chosen area. With the energy mix of each state, characteristics of given ways of producing electricity and consumptions of selected cars the consumption of primary energy of selected cars and emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer were determined. From the computed data results, that the lowest energy consumption have the electric cars driven in countries with dominant representation of renewable energy sources. Conversely the worst conditions are in the countries with high part of fossil fuels in electricity production. From the comparison of single electric cars and plug-in hybrids with classic cars results that electric cars or plug-in hybrids are at the time of writing this thesis practically in all cases more energy efficient and also produce less emission of carbon dioxide.
Assessment of thermal comfort in buildings

This bachelor thesis summarises knowleges about methods used for assessments of thermal comfort in buldings. In opening part of thesis is thermal comfort introduces as important part of overall satisfaction with indoor environment. There are also described fyziological basics and ways of thermoregulation and individual elements of thermal balance. Next part of thesis is focused on thermal and humidity factors of indoor environment. Some combinations of these factors form thermal comfort. Main part of thesis describes methods of assesments of thermal comfort using PMV and PPD indices. For practical uses there are examples of comfort diagrams, which are based on PMV index, Thermal Comfort Meter and Thermal Manikin. Last part contains description of some instruments for measurement of used physical values.
Inclined belt conveyor for foundry sand

The purpose of the bachelor thesis is the construction design of the belt conveyor for the transport of foundry sand with the transport capacity of 70 tons per hour. The bachelor thesis includes the functional calculation performed according to the norm ČSN ISO 5048. Moreover, the bachelor thesis designs the drive of the conveyor and the strength calculation of the drive shaft and the idler drums.
Research of silage and self loading trailers and autostack automatic bale loaders

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to make a study of agricultural trailers from different agricultural machinery producers focusing on self-loading wagons, silage trailers and pressed straw self-loading conveyers. The first part of the thesis gave a short description of agricultural machinery producers and their products. In the second part of the thesis there were described compared parameters with the calculation of own parameters. These parameters were drawn into graph to make the bachelor thesis clear and individual products were according to mentioned parameters compared. The last part focused on the comparison of agricultural machinery producers with respect to non-numerical criteria such as the position of the producer on the market, guarantee and customer service etc.

With increasing competitive is higher pressure for car producers. It is the reason why car producers are forced make development of cars more efficient and faster. They use simulation and modeling that is why there are present some most widely used types of simulations. I introduce some kinds of programmers which can make these simulations. There are present also several examples how to improve these results of simulations and modeling.
Current situation of research into interaction of tire with surface

Modeling and simulation belong to very important tools used in automotive industry of present days. Simulation forms basis for both – new vehicle development and also improvement of vehicles already in production. A key role of simulation may be seen in the development of vehicle active safety features such as “Anti-Block System” (ABS), “Anti-Slip Regulation” (ASR), “Electronic Stability Program” (ESP) etc. As a common feature, all of the listed systems require accurate simulation of the interaction between the tire and the road surface. Thanks to simulation tools we can model driving situations and behavior of the whole system so that it nearly mimics real behavior of the vehicle on the road. Nevertheless; despite continuously increasing accuracy of the simulation tools, a development process still cannot be completed without real tests and measurements on tires and road surface characteristics.
Model ranges analysis of threshing machine

The scope of this bachelor work is to give the basic information and explain the functionality of particular harvester thresher mechanism and confront their synthesis and product mix from different producers. The agricultural engineering sale is large and that is why the first step of the usage will be the company literature and then professional magazines will be given. This work is mainly made through the use of visual documentation, which afford explanation of existing mechanics principle, their particular structural design and summary of producers. Then there will be mentioned their percent sales representation and the confrontation according to the efficiency classes. The attention will be first of all paid to the best in this field, for example to the companies, which are engaged in picking engineering production for cereals, as are for example companies Claas, Fendt. Case IH or New Holland.
Self-locking mechanism for transport concrete pillar

The thesis is focused on the fastening and transportation of load concrete pillar of given parameters. The goal is to design suitable kinematics of self-locking mechanism to secure the pillar. Handling of design solution contains functional and strength calculation of individual parts of mechanism including its 3D visualization supplemented with drawing documentation.
