The block of flats in Milotice nad Bečvou

This bachelor thesis concern project of apartment building in Milotice nad Bečvou. It is an individually standing object on a flat terrain. The object of the apartment building has three over-ground and one underground floor. The object consists of six dwelling units and one gym. On the first over-ground floor there are two flats, on the second over-ground floor there are two flats and on the third over-ground floor there are also two flats. On the underground floor there are one gym. The building is designed of structural system of ceramic blocks and partly permanent formwork. The ceilings are from prefabricated ceramics system and partly reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as a mono-pitched with roof truss. The work includes project documentation for the construction.

This dissertation thesis concern the project of a multifunctional building in Hranice na Moravě. It is an individually standing object on a flat terrain. The building has four over-ground floors. In the first and second floor are administrative spaces. Administrative spa-ces consist of offices and meetings room. In a third and fourth floor are four flats. There is one 3+kk flat (three rooms with kitchenette) and one 2+kk flat (two rooms with kitchenette) on every floor. The double staircase is used to connect the individual floors. The building is designed from a structural system of ceramic fittings. The ceilings are assembled from ceramic fittings with reinforced concrete. This ceiling is also supporting part of single skin flat roof. The thesis contains project documentation for construction.
Anthropometric-Biomechanical Characteristics of Selected Parts of the Human Skeleton Based on Principal Loads and Stiffnesses

Skeleton is a basic supporting system of the human body and a passive substrate for any possible movement, while the shape and mechanical properties of a single bone are given both by the embryological origin and its function. The bone can transfer mechanical load with an optimal amount of energy, and this power flow can be documented by mechanical testing or computational modelling. The author decided on the latter and tried to define the main stiffnesses as one of the most important internal modalities to determine overall bone quality. Stiffness is a widely used biomechanical measure reflecting geometric, topologic and material properties of a given bone. It is defined as a resistance of a bone against deformation in response to an applied force. This thesis aims to study and describe a characteristic bone stiffness of a CT based virtual models using the spectral decomposition of a stiffness matrix. The characteristic stiffness as a brand-new descriptor of bone tissue will be further correlated with the bone density spatial distribution and matched against a set of chosen anthropometric measurements to test its sex-specificity. 3.2. Abstract Soil contamination by heavy metals represents rather serious environmental problem for both human health and an environment itself. One of the perspective technologies dealing with this threat that only recently has been intensely developed is phytoremediation by means of short rotation coppice plantations. As plants used in this technology (mostly poplars and willows) host two major groups of mycorrhizal fungi substantially influencing plant physiology it is important to study plant-mycobiontheavy metals interactions rather than just plant-heavy metals interactions. The present thesis aimed to contribute to the growing knowledge of the field by search for suitable mycobionts of poplar or willow tolerant to heavy metals, by evaluating an activity of the key antioxidative enzyme in selected mycobionts and by looking at physiological responses of plant hosts to their mycobionts in a soil polluted by heavy metals. The first experiment in vitro focused on screening of morphometric criteria of fungi growing on solid growth media amended with mixture of heavy metals. Based on the results, several tolerant ectomycorrhizal strains were chosen for the next inoculation of fast growing trees serving phytoextraction and phytostabilisation strategies.
