Detection of infill defects in 3D printed structures using the DIC method
Doležal, Tomáš ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Ščerba, Bořek (advisor)
Additive manufacturing offers wide range of advantages. However various internal defects are likely to be formed during the manufacturing process which negatively affect mechanical properties. Detection of those defects is critical to ensure that the manufactured component stays reliable and maintains its dependability throughout its whole life. The potential of the digital image correlation (DIC) method for detect detection in components manufactured using additive technologies has not yet been investigated in the literature. In this master thesis a novel non-destructive defectoscopic method for the internal defect detection in 3D printed structures is presented, based on the evaluation of the strain field obtained by the DIC method. The method was experimentally evaluated on samples with artificial internal defects fabricated by FDM technology. The samples containing defects were successfully visually detected. A convolutional neural network was then used for the defect detection and achieved a classification accuracy of 94,5 %. This methodology has a potential to provide cheap and fast detection of internal defects formed in additive manufactured components in the future although future research is still required.
Liability for defects of work
Doležal, Tomáš ; Plíva, Stanislav (advisor) ; Štenglová, Ivanka (referee)
1 Abstract The presented thesis deals with liability for defects in work in business obligations. It analyzes the effective legislation which is primarily contained in the Commercial Code and points out some problems arising from the interpretation of the law. It further summarizes the numerous and relatively constant judicature of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic and legal opinions of several commercional lawyers. The author of the thesis tries to assess the conclusions of the judicature and legal doctrine. In some cases, he presents his own suggestions to solve the shortcomings of the current legislation. These proposals are based on his own legal reasoning. During the creation of the Commercial Code, the legislature had been inspired by the Economic Code and the International Trade Code, the immediate predecessors of the Commercial Code, and by United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For this reason the legislation contained in these sources of law is mentioned particularly when the legislation departs from the current legislation of the Commercial Code. The future development of the legislation is also presumed. The thesis deals with the draft of the new Civil Code and focuses on the draft's solutions of several selected issues (issue of performance of...

Result: The result of this bachelor work is to get a survey about all work activities and distribution this activities according to the importance for the responsibilities of the work of the fire man at the airbase in the Army of the Czech Republic. I would also like to identify which activity is the most important during the work shift. Quality of water and water touring on selected West Bohemia rivers
Šimice, David ; Šafránek, Jiří (advisor) ; Doležal, Tomáš (referee)
3 Abstract Title: Quality of water and water touring on selected West Bohemia rivers Aim: The main aim of the thesis was to find out if there are changes of water quality in the most significant West Bohemia rivers as a result of the changing approach to our environment in the past several years. Furthermore, to consider whether the water quality has changed in relation to finished water management projects and whether this change influenced using rivers for water touring. The observed rivers: Úhlava, Úslava, Radbuza, Mže, Berounka and Střela. Methods: The first part of the thesis, discussing the water quality, analyzes available data collected from written and electronic resources and discussions with experts. The gained material mostly within the last 10 years was organized, compared and summarized. The second part brings the evaluation by canoeists who regularly canoe down these rivers and can visually judge the water quality. This information was interpreted from semi- structured interviews with canoeists. Results: Our presumption that the water quality on the selected West Bohemia rivers is improving was proved, which is one of basic conditions for water touring as well. Keywords: West Bohemia rivers, water touring, water quality, pollution
Czech-Liechtenstein relations and their development after 2000
Doležal, Tomáš ; Kunštát, Miroslav (advisor) ; Handl, Vladimír (referee)
The master thesis concentrates on studying the relations between the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein from 2000 until 2015. The Czech Republic and the monarchy share a long common history, reaching all the way to the Middle Ages. The Liechtensteins constituted autonomous political power in the Czech lands for centuries and this power played a significant role not only on the regional but also on the continental level. Historical development in Czech territory in 20th century interrupted this continuous symbiosis, the Liechtensteins lost all their Czech property in a short period of time and decided to leave Czech land permanently. Due to the confiscation of property by the Czech state, long-lasting litigations between the two states were created. Even the establishment of the democratic Czech Republic did not bring any change. It was only in 2009 when diplomatic communication was re-established, but ownership issues of different properties remain a challenging issue of bilateral relations. The opening part of the thesis summarizes the historical development in 20th century. The second part analyses property disputes between the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein from the historical perspective. The third part concentrates on contemporary political and economic system of Liechtenstein. Specific...
Legal and ethical aspects of the protection of the beginning and end of human life and its dignity
Blažek, Petr ; Gerloch, Aleš (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee) ; Doležal, Tomáš (referee)
The subject of the following dissertation, as the title states, is to explore legal and ethical aspects of the protection of human life and its dignity. Its aim is not merely to attempt to map the present legal situation regarding the protection of human life in the legal system of the Czech Republic, but also to outline some philosophical and anthropological implications which could have considerable influence on the practical consequences of some legal measures, including general aspects of the protection of human life and the legal regulation of two areas of study chosen by the author, namely assisted reproduction and euthanasia. In this sense the following work does not simply describe the various philosophical- anthropological conceptions in a neutral way, but offers to the reader a possible model which, in the view of the author, best corresponds to the degree of protection that human life and dignity can claim in early and terminal phases, taking a neoscholastic and personalistic view of man and his ontological status, in order to try to deduce from this model ethical implications both in a general sense and in relation to the two above-mentioned areas of application. The aim of the work is thus not only to describe the degree of protection of human life de lege lata, but also by making comparisons...
"Greening" Olympic Games?
Uhlířová, Miroslava ; Rynda, Ivan (advisor) ; Doležal, Tomáš (referee)
This diploma thesis discusses the topic of "green olympics" and its aim is to analyze and compare the last five summer olympic games (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016) within the sustainability discursus. The bidding process is being compared with its implementation, which is done for each particular olympics, and so are the national strategies of sustainable development of that particular location. The main objective is to find out if the local sustainability strategies are aligned both with the candidature and with the actual realization of the olympic games, and whether every following olympic games tend towards greater sustainability in comparison with the previous ones. The study is carried out through quantitative content analysis, the studied materials being the Official Reports of the olympic games and the strategic documents on sustainability of corresponding countries. The results show a significant mismatch between the set goals and the actual output (especially in case of Athens; while Sydney and London did considerably better in fulfilling their plans). Neither the plans nor the realizations of sustainability within the olympics were satisfyingly in accordance to the national sustainability strategies, as many topics considered crucial in the...
