Binding of azaphthalocyanine on 5'-end of oligonucleotide - "click" chemistry
Křížová, Iveta ; Kopecký, Kamil (advisor) ; Švec, Jan (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control Student: Iveta Křížová Supervisor: PharmDr. Kamil Kopecký, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Binding of azaphthalocyanine on 5'-end of oligonucleotide - "click" chemistry This diploma thesis is focused on synthesis of pyrazin-2,3-dicarbonitrile derivates that are substituted with alkylamine substituents in location 5 and 6. Then cyclotetramerization of these compounds to the final azaphthalocyanines was realized. Alkylamine substituents were chosen in the way, that bond on 5'-end of oligonucleotide with terminal alkyn modification could be performed according to Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. Azaphtalocyanine with one hydoxyl group was prepared and described. Preparation of intended structure with one azide group was unsuccessful. Azaphtalocyanines are characterized by important photophysical and photochemical properties. Therefor were these compounds characterized with NMR, IR and mass spectra. In section Theory was explained the principle of quenching of fluorescence, practical use of quenching and overview of up to date the most commonly used quencher of fluorescence. There is also comparing of their positive and negative properties and little bit outlining of properties...
Object Detection Using Kinect
Švec, Ján ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the object detection using Kinect. Kinect is a motion sensing input device by Microsoft company for the Xbox 360 video game console. The objective of this work was to evaluate the existing approaches and practices for the detection not only using the image from the camera but also depth map (RGB-D sensor). The work deals in details with RoboEarth tool, its installation, settings, creation of 3D model and the detection. Performance of the RoboEarth tool was in the work investigated experimentally and also evaluated.
Unsupervised Adaptation of Speech Recognizer
Švec, Ján ; Karafiát, Martin (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and test techniques for unsupervised adaptation of speech recognizers on some audio data without any textual transcripts. A training set is prepared at first, and a baseline speech recognition system is trained. This sistem is used to transcribe some unseen data. We will experiment with an adaptation data selection process based on some speech transcript quality measurement. The system is re-trained on this new set than, and the accuracy is evaluated. Then we experiment with the amount of adaptation data.
Household fermentor design
Švec, Jan ; Jecha, David (referee) ; Houdková, Lucie (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a fermentation unit specially adjusted for household operating. Unit processes kitchen and garden biodegradable waste with requirements of low acquisition costs, operating costs and demands of service. Benefits of this unit are production of biogas, which will be utilized in household, and processed of biodegradable waste to nutritious manure. The first part of the work is aimed on description of anaerobic fermentation process and summary of operating conditions. The main part deals with potential of household and garden biodegradable waste for production of biogas and design of fermentation unit. Proposals for biogas utilization and economy of whole project are mentioned.
Chassis of three-wheel electromobile
Švec, Jan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The target of this thesis was to design conception of electric three-wheeler. The first chapter compares city cars and its technical data. The second chapter is focused on conception of vehicle and in the third chapter are described construction groups of vehicle. Next is here solution of stability and front suspension.
Design Laboratory Phase Shifting Transformer
Korejčík, Michal ; Švec, Jan (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with a power flow control in the electric power system. An overview of FACTS devices is introduced; their basic characteristics as well as examples of their application are discussed. A significant part of this thesis investigates phase shifting transformers (PST´s), which seem to be suitable for implementation in the transmission system of the Czech Republic. The PST´s are useful devices that control active power flows on cross-border lines and regulate unwanted and unexpected power flows. Basic types and characteristics of the PST´s are discussed. In chapter 7 is designed laboratory task that should validate the regulatory capabilities of the transformer PST. Designs of models of individual parts of this laboratory task are presented. In the last part of this thesis the regulation effect of the PST is validated in the GLF/AES program.
Utilization of biodegradable waste
Švec, Jan ; Pěček, Jan (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to summarize the current situation of the problem using biodegradable waste. The introductory chapters deal with descriptions of different types of biodegradable waste. The main part describes ways of handling this waste. For various types of waste are listed by their most appropriate treatment and further use. Emphasis is placed on legislation dealing with that waste legislation on the processing equipment.
Vehicle with ecological drive
Švec, Jan ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This work is focused on design of three-wheeler with ecological drive. The first chapter discusses the history of three-wheelers from beginning of their development. The second chapter is a survey of present production and the third chapter is devoted to separate design of vehicle conception.
Human resource management in Bridge Resort Hotel
Ganikhina, Polina ; Chylíková, Hana (advisor) ; Švec, Jan (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is: an analysis of current human resources management situation in Bridge Resort Hotel under current standards of human resources management in Russia, determination of possible strengths and weaknesses and suggesting measures leading to an improvement of current situation and increasing the efficiency of the management. The work is therefore divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes term definitions such as human resource management, theoretical background and basic activities of human resource management. The practical part contains the analysis of quality of human resource management in Bridge Resort Hotel based on description of human resources management in Russia. Consequently there was made an evaluation of current situation using questionnaire survey of company's employees and a set of measures leading to an increasing of management efficiency was proposed.
