The thesis titled "Integration of Visually Handicapped People in the Labour Market - the project "How to Succeed in the Labour Market" deals with the issue of jobs for people with visual disabilities in the open labour market. The main aim of the thesis is to identify the barriers which visually handicapped people have to face that affect their employment, and subsequently assess the effectiveness of the project "How to succeed in the labour market." This thesis firstly discusses the theory of employment of people with visual disabilities. Apart from the definition of "person with visual impairment" as such the thesis discusses the importance of job as one of the tools to meet self-realization needs and also possibilities of support when the job is lost. The Importance of Social Firm in Social Integration of Persons with Mental Diseases

The dissertation look into the question what social firm has a impact on the social integration of people with mental diseases. It is divided into theoretical part, profiles of surveyed organizations and practical part. In theoretical parts are offered definitions of the various authors about social integration, social firms, persons with mental illness. Definition of approaching the issue. There are also published theories, which were subsequently verified in the empirical work. Brief profiles of organizations includes two social firms and one sheltered workshop. In empirical part was a qualitative research aimed at answering research questions. They were directed to full the objectives of the work. The main method in this case were semi-structured interviews. Work leads to knowledge, some of which support the theoretical ssumptions about the importance of social integration firm. However, some theoretical knowledge about the importance of social integration, were not confirmed by the results of empirical research. Ethics in Selected Spheres of Economy and their Impact upon Social Field This thesis deals with the importance of ethics in economy. Its goal is to reflect and critically evaluate economic principles. It focuses on chosen aspects of economic thinking and its effect on society. The theoretical part is also completed with specific examples of negative sociocultural phenomenon. The study is analysis of Czech and foreign literature relevant for given theme. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with solutions of ethical and philosophical-anthropological nature. The second chapter contains key concepts of economic thinking. Specific factors that have a negative social impact are named in this part. The third chapter defined space for interdisciplinary approach and delimited role of main regulators of society. The last chapter describes the social state as an institution trying to unite social and economic goals. It further describes the development of the social state and introduces its current problems caused by economic influences. Base on conclusions of axiology researches there are discussed changes of value in the Czech public towards social measures. Civil Participation at Public Affairs and Its Impact on Development of Community. Case Study of the Litoměřice Region

This thesis deals with the topic of civic participation in society and how participation this society develops and influences. The theoretical part is concerned with explaining the concepts, history and general knowledge that are related to participation. The grip and exploration of the region is described in the work from European, republic, district and consequently the regional context. The thesis is focused on the region Litoměřice, which is described in aspect of participation in detail. In the practical part of the thesis is the Litoměřice region studied by questionnaire survey. There are questions set and answered. With these issues is expressed effort to find out whether the value of gender, age and education tend to influence the participation rate among residents in the Litoměřice region. The detected data are processed and evaluated as a basis for presenting the conclusions.

Homelesses with regress to the social services

This thesis concerns repeated returns of homeless people to social services. The theoretical part focuses on the description and the problem areas of homeless people, cultural-historical development of homelessness in Czech lands - defines the term of social services and discusses the model of work with the target group in Poland. At the end of the theoretical part a Center for homeless people the Bohuslav Bures social services center (BBSSC) Salvation Army is presented, in this way methods of work with the target group are demonstrated, the way of keeping documentation is described and the analysis of the shelter home relevant to the theme of the work are publicized. The research carried out in the practical part looks for factors which have caused the return of the former users of social services. For the purposes of the work the phenomenon of returning is studied in persons, who in the period of 2007 - April 2012 used a shelter home in BBSSC in Salvation Army, left for commercial housing and after their departure they come back to BBSSC within one year as candidates for a social service. Social economy and its potential for inclusion of disadvantaged groups in the labour market

Social economy is an economic activity with social and economic objectives, which can lead to the development of society and offer a new direction for the welfare state. It combines the principles of prosperity, sustainable development, social inclusion and equal opportunities with entrepreneurship and charitable activities for the benefit of needy and disadvantaged persons. This thesis focuses on the concept of social economy in the Czech Republic and abroad and highlights the social entrepreneurship as an opportunity to address social exclusion and unemployment of disadvantaged members of the society. The thesis deals with social entrepreneurship and its potential for integration of marginalized social groups to the labour market. Social economy and its subjects - social enterprises - participate in the market not only to obtain profit but also in order to fulfill socially beneficial objectives. The topic of social economy and supporting its subjects is currently topical in the whole European Union. It presents an alternative way of fulfilling the needs of the society which flexibly complements the instruments of public redistribution as well as private sector. Also in the Czech Republic social economy is a real phenomenon which has recently attracted many practical as well as theoretical activities. The thesis focuses on social firms as one of the types of social enterprises that create jobs for persons that are somehow disadvantaged on the labour market with the objective of their social and economic integration. In the practical part the thesis presents results of a qualitative research aimed on the impacts of the employment in the social firm "Modrý domeček" in Řevnice of a family member with a health disadvantage on his/her family. The research was conducted with members of the disadvantaged employees' families.

Assistance in financial management and use of financial counselling services in the asylum house for mothers with children

The theme of my thesis is Assistance in financial management and use of financial counselling services at the asylum houses for mothers with children. The aim of this study is to determine whether it is possible to help mothers at asylum houses with financial management. Financial literacy and the skill to manage their money of these users is very low and it is later on transmitted to their children. Social workers at asylum houses try to help and to encourage their clients in various areas of their lives. Money is not the area every client allows you to intervene in. In my work I consider the views of particular participants on issues of financial management and through using various tools to cooperate with users to improve their financial management skills and at the end of my work I review how the cooperation worked out and succeeded.
