Analysis of Economic Data Using Statistical Methods

The teoretical part of the thesis focuses on timeline and also on economic issues of mainly ratio indicators and their interpratation. The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate selected economic indicators of the company, using timeline analysis and regressive analysis. The analysis is related to value prediction of selected economic indicators which I predicted for the next two years (2014 and 2015). Based on the detected values I proposed measures for successful future development of the company. I have processed the data using Gretl and Microsoft Excel programs.

This bachelor's thesis analyses the situation in a selected company by using economic indicators and statistical methods. The thesis is divided into three main parts, the theoretical part, the analytical part and the suggestions part. The theoretical part describes the essential theoretical backgrounds of time series and selected economic indicators. The analytical part is focused on application of these theoretical knowledge and on performing calculations in given time periods. In the suggestions part, some proposals are mentioned, which could help the company to improve current situation in its future. Further the program is introduced, which is the outcome of this thesis as well.

Bankruptcy Prediction Modelling in the Agriculture Business

This master’s thesis is focused on problematic within the prediction of bankruptcy of companies operating in the field of agriculture in Czech republic. First part consists of introduction to companies that do business in field of agriculture and it describes bankruptcy models that are used in academicals sphere. Other part of thesis is divided into two sub-parts. First part is dedicated to an application of data into models of bankruptcy and their evaluation. Second part is focused on improvement of the best model and its main goal is to maximize the precision of the bankruptcy.

Time requirements of construction of a building object

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Time requirements of building construction. The aim of this work is to analyze the time consuming construction of the building. The work is focused on reinforced concrete bridge frame structures. The first part describes the technology of construction and structural types of bridges. The second part of the thesis deals with the determination of the construction time indicators. The individual indicators are related to the area and volume of the bridge structure, and the pace of construction of the individual parts of the bridge is analyzed.

Cost Optimization in the Construction Company

This thesis focuses on the explanation and description of selected methods used to optimize the costs involved in the construction industry. The main objective of the work is to directly apply one chosen method at a given construction company and by use of this process recommend changes ultimately leading to cost optimization. Company data, based on defined indices, was compared with the data from public institutions. The merit of the indices were individually evaluated resulting in recommended proposals for future development.
