Metodika pro práci s přírodovědeckým typovým materiálem

The book deals with basic, really existing elements of nomenclature in natural sciences - types, which represent pillars for scientific names of organisms and minerals. It describes especially the managing of types governed by zoological and botanical codes (ICZN, ICN), both for their living and extinct representatives. The text covers the following aspects of managing types: their distinguishing, terminology, preparation, preventive conservation, packaging, labelling, documentation, publishing, studying, and loaning.

Metodika korektní fotografické reprodukce daguerrotypických obrazů s vlastním zkonstruovaným prototypem reprodukčního zařízení

Obsahem metodiky je praktické použití navrženého reprodukčního zařízení – DaguerroBoxu s příklady korektního užití, aby byl získán co nejvěrnější fotografický obraz z konkrétní daguerrotypie. Postup je podrobně popsán a je demonstrováno jeho využití v běžných podmínkách. Jako optimální řešení se ukázalo fotografování s mobilním osvětlovacím zařízením, které splňuje všechny požadavky (mj. neohrožuje podstatu fotografovaného předmětu a poskytuje kvalitní obrazovou reprodukci), a to za využití současných technologických možností fotografického záznamu. Ukázky práce s prvním provizorním osvětlovacím zařízením a vyhodnocení výsledků jsou výsledným výstupem první fáze. Závěrečným výstupem druhé fáze je návrh konstrukce a pořízení prototypu originálního osvětlovacího zařízení určeného k certifikaci a výrobě.

Technical image in collections

The work "Technical image in collections" focuses on the systems of manipulation, archiving and exposition of contemporary static materialized images in Czech institutions managing collections. From the theoretical views of transformations and current issues of collections of contemporary photographic images, this text proceeds to foundations of the state-of-the-art utilized printing and adjustment technologies. The aim of this work is to provide an overview of the archiving, marketability and exposure aspects of the physical technical image and to capture the developments in technology and attitudes accompanying this media category, also referred to as photography.
