Implementation of application that demonstrates mobile application vulnerabilities
Šrůtková, Karolína ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on an implementation of application for Android operating system that demonstrates mobile application vulnerabilities. Theoretical part contains security of mobile applications and its current state including a description of the biggest security risks and vulnerabilities. In addition, general development of mobile applications for Android is mentioned. In a practical part of the thesis a custom design of the application is described including vulnerabilities analysis, design of basic application blocks and selection of suitable tools for implementation. The section describing the implementation of the application describes the preparation of the environment, the structure of the created application and especially its implementation. The last part contains an example of implemented application vulnerabilities and also the result of its testing.
Electronic clinical study management system with artificial intelligence-based data processing capabilities
Mužný, Miroslav ; Mužík, Jan (advisor) ; Štěpánková, Olga (referee) ; Ngo, Phuong Dinh (referee)
An increasing amount of data are collected through wearable devices during ambulatory, and long-term monitoring of biological signals, adoption of persuasive technology and dynamics of clinical trials information sharing - all of that changes the possible clinical intervention. Moreover, more and more smartphone apps are hitting the market as they become a tool in daily life for many people around the globe. All of these applications are generating a tremendous amount of data, that is difficult to process using traditional methods, and asks for engagement of advanced methods of data processing. For recruiting patients, this calls for a shift from traditional methods of engaging patients to modern communication platforms such as social media, that are providing easy access to up- to-date information on an everyday basis. These factors make the clinical study progression demanding, in terms of unified participant management and processing of connected digital resources. Some clinical trials put a strong accent on remote sensing data and patient engagement through their smartphones. To facilitate this, a direct participant messaging, where the researchers give support, guidance and troubleshooting on a personal level using already adopted communication channels, needs to be implemented. Since the...

The use of mobile applications in the teaching of chemistry
Hrubá, Běla Marie ; Teplá, Milada (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Petr (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on teaching of Chemistry using mobile phones at primary and secondary schools. The theoretical part is dedicated to the research articles and final theses focused on the topic. Moreover, this thesis shows whether and how school curricula and school regulations dedicate to the topic of mobile phones in education. The practical part of the thesis introduces a research of available chemical educational applications and also an analysis of chosen applications based on predetermined criteria. All of the researched applications are divided according to their topics and arranged in a table summarizing their main content. Furthermore, this thesis describes a trial lesson with implementation of mobile phones and its evaluation. This part also includes all materials used in the pedagogical experiment.
Mobile Application Rendering Digital Elevation Models in Real Time
Hejl, Radim ; Tomešek, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with terrain rendering on mobile device in realtime. It focuses on current developement of applications in operating system Android, especially rendering of graphics using OpenGL ES. Mobile Application for Treasure Hunters
Skaličan, Robin ; Škarvada, Libor (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was the design and implementation of a mobile application for devices with the Android operating system. The application intends to simplify the work of findings documentation for searchers with a metal detector. The goal is also to provide an easier way for further communication with archaeologists about the findings. A request was created to extend the thesis assignment by a web application on meetings with archaeologists. The web application displays the recorded data from the mobile application and simplifies any further communication with the data author. This data is stored in the Firebase Realtime Database. The mobile application implements a map view using the Leaflet library and functions based on user requirements. Java and JavaScript programming languages were used for most of the implementation. The result of my work is composed of two applications working with the shared database.
