Usage of artificial inteligence in legal services
Hudík, Lukáš ; Beran, Karel (advisor) ; Ondřejek, Pavel (referee)
1 The usage of artificial inteligence in the legal practice Abstract This thesis deals with the phenomenon of artificial intelligence and its use in the the legal practice, as well as its impact on the related legal profession. The main objective of the thesis was to evaluate the current regulation of artificial intelligence at both the general and professional level in this country and around the world. Artificial Intelligence, or better said, the artificial intelligence system, is undoubtedly a topical and widely discussed topic that has rapidly come into the public consciousness in the last three years and has the potential to change the current majority of economic sectors as we currently know them. Its media coverage and often deliberately offensive article headlines, however, have often led to questions such as "won't I lose my job because of AI", even in professional circles? "Why should I use AI?" Thus, the main methodology used in this paper is empirical research into the AI systems phenomena, and the subsequent application of the findings to existing AI-based legal tools. I will thus attempt to answer the question of whether AI is a threat or rather an opportunity for the future of advocacy, and how it should be approached. The thesis also deals with related issues, i.e. phenomena such as forum...
AI-based technology: Legal aspects of data protection and privacy
Hendrychová, Lucie ; Svobodová, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Exner, Jan (referee)
Technology Based on Artifical Intelligence: Legal Aspects of Data and Privacy Protection Abstract The thesis focuses on technologies based on the principles of artificial intelligence and their regulation in the field of the European Union with an emphasis on the data protection. It is divided into three parts. Firstly, the focus is on the term artificial intelligence itself, the definition of which is not simple, but quite indispensable for legal regulation. The second part of the thesis deals with the European Union legislation relevant to artificial intelligence, leaving aside neither soft law, which has an indispensable role in the field of artificial intelligence, nor legislation that is still in the legislative process. This section already demonstrates the legislative shortcomings, which can be divided into two groups. The first group of shortcomings is characterised by incomprehensibility of definitions or excessive vagueness of formulations, which cause interpretative difficulties even in essential facts, which undoubtedly include the scope of the regulation. A common feature of the second group of legislative shortcomings is the lack of reflection on the specifics of artificial intelligence, which can, in the most extreme case, lead to an absurd situation where the obligation laid down by the...
Utilization of artificial intelligence in vibrodiagnostics
Dočekalová, Petra ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with machine learning, expert systems, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, neural networks and chaos theory, which fall into the category of artificial intelligence. The aim of this work is to describe and implement three different classification methods, according to which the data set will be processed. The GNU Octave software environment was chosen for the data application for licensing reasons. Further evaluate the success of data classification, including visualization. Three different classification methods are used for comparison, so that we can compare the processed data with each other.
open source artificial intelligence options
Ostrý, Lubomír ; Kumpán, Pavel (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on open source tools and resources in the field of artificial intelligence, particularly in machine learning. The aim is to analyze current state, possibilities and limitations of work with a set of open source artificial intelligence programs. The first part describes and explains basic terms regarding machine learning, mainly neural networks, their training and use. Following section describes a set of machine learning tools, specifically their main characteristics, compatibility and use. Available sources of open source datasets for neural network training is a topic of another chapter. Lastly an application was created using a selection of described tools displaying their possibilities and use.
Modular tool for creating games with artificial intelligence
Klika, Jan ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Kouřil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of tool for facilitate the creation of artificial intelligence. The tool uses its own universal communication protocol, supports multiple types of games, is extensible for other games using dynamic libraries, supports the display of debugging information of artificial intelligence and is localized in English and Czech.
Steal me your €motion
Rygálová, Monika ; Országhová, MA Kristína (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
The text deals with ways and methods of creating my diploma thesis called Steal me your €motion. The diploma thesis deals with the relationship between machine learning and emotionality. To what extent is artificial intelligence able to undergo emotional relationships and experiences defined by the physicality and experience of the human body. The topic of the work is the creation of a (fictional) inhuman entity that longs to learn from people as many bodily acts as possible that will help it infiltrate the human community. In addition to reflecting the current level of scientific knowledge, I bring an element of fiction and fiction.
Strategic Game Based on Multiagent Systems
Knapek, Petr ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on designing and implementing system, that adds learning and planning capabilities to agents designed for playing real-time strategy games like StarCraft. It will explain problems of controlling game entities and bots by computer and introduce some often used solutions. Based on analysis, a new system has been designed and implemented. It uses multi-agent systems to control the game, utilizes machine learning methods and is capable of overcoming oponents and adapting to new challenges.
Implementation of Simple Speech Recognizer in a Web Browser
Crkoň, Jakub ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The goal of this project is to implement simple speech recognizer for web browser. This paper describes fundamental components required for implementing speech recognizer and techniques which are used for optimization process of speech recognition in web browser. At first, the paper focuses on introduction of speech recognition theory. It describes individual parts and principles of speech recognizer. In next section, thesis describes design, implementation and principles of acceleration of speech recognizer with limited computing resources of web browser. The implementation is divided into modules making up the library for usage in web browser. The library is easily extendable and usable in various web applications. Finally, it discusses potential directions of development and usability of this project.
Web Application of Water Polo
Ludvík, Martin ; Techet, Jiří (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis contains description of a design and implementation of an information system for water polo club. Information system stores informations about matches, players, articles, photos, teams, etc. It stores informations about results of this matches too and also it is able to generate some statistics from this records. Access to this application is hierarchic in compliance with rights of an individual user autentificated by password. It is some kind of simple content management system. System also contains one specific method of artificial intelligence, which links free referees to the matches that should be played. Application is created for effective and synoptical management of informations presented above.
