Experimental Evaluation of Clock Synchronization for Networked Control Systems
Pacner, Jan ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
Within this topic, a testing environment is built, where different clock synchronization methods are evaluated in order to establish a maximal achievable clock precision in a distributed SCADA system based on the QNX operating system. Furthermore a measurement of parameters of communication for different technologies and circumstances is taken. For this purpose, porting of the PTP protocol to QNX OS is necessary.

This thesis deal with Java EE technologies and various subtechnologies of Java EE platform. This work is based on experience designing Java EE aplication network organizer with focus on technologies like DB connectivity (JPA, TopLink JPA), network enabled enterprise application design, remote accessing of bussiness logic in Java EE and security of the system as whole. Primary technologies used are Java EE 5 (core platform), Glassfish (application server), Firebird (database) and TopLink (ORM manager).
AES Tolerance to Timing Analysis
Ondruš, Juraj ; Matyáš, Václav (referee) ; Cvrček, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis deals with timing analysis of the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). The design of {\em Rijndael\/}, which is the AES algorithm, is described here. For the side channel attacks is necessary to know the principles of the cache memory in CPU and its architecture. In this thesis are involved major security problems of AES which can be used for successful attacks. Several different implementations of AES are discussed too. Several types of timing attaks are also described. According to the experimentations these attacks should be efficient to the most presently used AES implementations. Finally, the results of this work are described, possible countermeasures against this attack and motions for the next research.

This term project deals with knowledge areas of project management, specifically areas of time, cost and communication. This is a theoretical basis for the next implementation of tool for monitoring and reporting on project progress.
Hyperspeed Reach - Audiovisual Performance
Kočišová, Lenka ; Vojtěchovský, Miloš (referee) ; Skočovský, Luděk (referee) ; Palla, Marian (referee) ; Ruller, Tomáš (advisor)
This dissertation thesis describes the phenomenon of audiovisual performance in different connotations. A substantial part is devoted to psychological survey into my own subconscious and subsequently to metaphorical processing of this introspection. An important part of the work is a resume of the general knowledge of the physical properties and its metaphorical application on mental and creative processes. This analysis and explanation of internal cognitive models are implemented in terms of the study of relationships, interactions based on cooperation or confrontation, but also the inability to grasp the objective reality from the subjective position due to the merged distinctions of real and fictional. The importance of audiovisual performance is also studied in linear perspective of history, in order to point out the general principle of repetition patterns, which reveals that audiovisual performances is an activity which is a necessary expression of life itself and not just the concept in the field of arts.
The parallel between the concept of work in architecture and music
Lukačovič, Markéta ; Petelen, Ivan (referee) ; Kyselka, Mojmír (referee) ; Koleček, Ivan (referee) ; Drápal, Jaroslav (advisor)
The doctoral thesis preliminary focuses on the comparison of concepts of creation in music and architecture and to explore the connection and possible blending of both arts. The main focus of the dissertation is the research of the parallel between the composition of music and architecture, in their characters, means of composition and methods. The methods of approaching the topic were the analysis's of music and architectural materials such as dedicated books, magazines, internet articles, as well as audio recordings, realisations of architectonic works, printed materials on acoustics, psychology of perception and aesthetics as well as own experience and knowledge in the field of music and architecture and the experiment in composition. Results of the dissertation are theoretical conclusions enlightening the given topic and the practical experiment in the form of the analysis of the music composition and the application of its compositional methods into the architectonic design.

The Phenomenology of Touch and Desire
Vojtěšková, Jitka ; Hanzlová, Alžběta (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
Still life arise from interactions related to a particular situation, location and experience. They are composed of objects that are located on a given place, of my own and borrowed or donated by my "partners". Reflect the time memory. They are a physical reminder of the experience. Still Life is manipulated, staged, composed of various artifacts that are symbolic bearer of facts that preceded them, Images may affect the perception of emotions associated with the concept of beauty, transience, decay, evoking a feeling of emptiness, to reflect the time - an irreversible momentum. Photos show a banal, everyday objects, often so obvious and neglected, What remains for us ... What remains ... What goes around ... What is gone ... Similar scenarios acquire different meanings, finding what is already absent,
