Strategic Analysis of an Enterprise

The task of my thesis on the topic of "Strategic Analysis of the Enterprise" was based on the analysis of external and internal environment in the firm PROFIL NÁBYTEK, a.s. The goal of this analysis is proposal some advisable strategies for future development of the company. Object of the company is a joinery and business activity. This thesis exploits theoretical knowledges of the special literature. This work deals with terms of strategic management, strategy, process of strategical planning and several types of basic strategies. After a studying of special literature I shortly described the company and then I gave an attention to the mission, an analysis of external and internal environment, enterprise objectives, proposal and analysis of convenient strategies, which should lead to consolidate and strengthen the competitive position of companies examined in the market. Total appreciation and strategy suggestions I made by the help of SWOT Analysis. The thesis gives us more information that may be the basis for further important decision-making and planning development of firm PROFIL NÁBYTEK, a.s.
Analysis of competition in the regional toy market

My thesis deals with analysis of competition in the local toy-market concretely with analysis of two comparable toyshops situated in shopping-centers in central Prague. Preliminary I present and define key terms that are essential at comparison of competition ability (competition, competitive advantage, toy market, customer and his specifics). To make my own research I elected standards that significantly influence customer satisfaction while shopping and determine possible future shopping, and created questionnaire. During valuation I commented point gains, looked for strengths and weeknesses and designed possible improvements. Total score were used to compare competitive ability of both the firms. My thesis is not only instruction manual for surveyed shops and determination of their competitive ability. It could be used as a general guide to increase competitive ability of other firms or as a starting point for further consecutive thesis and researches.

Product line analysis of Janus company

The thesis describes a company that distributes laser printers and copy machines. Using the portfolio analysis, I seek for products that should be on offer further and those that should be excluded from the sortiment. The thesis also describes services that serve as a support of the product. At the end the portfolio of this company is compared to portfolios of competing companies.
Strategy suggestion of the chosen language school

The diploma thesis deals with analysis of the language school's (Bonna Lingua) position in the region of Ústí nad Labem city. This work analysis the position of the company to its surroundings and also examines in detail the internal processes. It also suggests possibilities which may lead to an improved position.
Teorie konkurence a antimonopolní politika

V práci poukážeme na vývoj teorie konkurence v dějinách ekonomického myšleni. Začneme stručným nastíněním problematiky konkurence tak, jak ji chápal zakladatel moderní ekonomie Adam Smith. Jeho názory předznamenaly vyvoj této teorie na dalších 200 let a ovlivnily tak formování neoklasické ekonomie, na kteru navážeme. Poukážeme na některe osobnosti, které spoluvytvářely neoklasickou teorii konkurence, jako byli Chamberlain a Robinsonová a dotkneme se i jedneho z predstavitelů chicagské školy, Franka Knighta, jako jednoho z prvních, kteří formuloval podmínky platné na dokonale konkurenčních trzích. Okrajove se seznámíme s Marshallem, a Wallrasovou teorií všeobecné rovnováhy. Po definování konkurence tak, jak ji vnímali neoklasikové se přesuneme od statického pojetí konkurence k dynamismu rakouské ekonomie a zaměříme se na teorii podnikatele a úlohu inovací ve spolecnosti a ve vývoji na trzích. Rakouský přístup nám otevře nový pohled na formování hospodářské politiky, která stavěla svá doporučení na modelu dokonalé konkurence, a jakékoliv výraznější vychýlení od tohohle stavu, považovala za důvod ke státním zásahům.
Komunikační strategie sport centra Na Zámečku

Bakalářská práce na téma : ?Komunikační strategie sport centra Na Zámečku? se zabývá diagnózou dnešního stavu a návrhy na zlepšení do budoucna. Práce se v teoretické části věnuje povětšinou úvahou nad významem marketingové strategie v současném obchodním styku na národní i nadnárodní úrovni. Metodologická část začíná vymezením oblasti, kde se nalézá největší počet konkurenčních středisek a následně také stanovením jejich výhod oproti sport centru Na Zámečku, z kterých ovšem může toto sport centrum čerpat inspiraci. Práce hodnotí také cenovou politiku, ale pouze v jedné oblasti služeb, jež je jeho prioritou a tou je tenis. Dále práce představuje sport centrum jako takové ? geografickou polohu, historii, současnost i budoucnost. Zhodnocení současného stavu do konce roku 2007 je také důležitou součástí, která slouží především k zamyšlení se nad chybami minulého období. Největší důraz je kladen na poslední část nazvanou ?Komunikační strategie pro rok 2008?. V tomto úseku využívám znalosti, které jsem získala studiem na Vysoké škole ekonomické během bakalářského programu. Tento úsek může zároveň sloužit jako základní podklad pro samotnou komunikaci s klienty sport centra dle jednotlivých typů akcí. Závěr práce vyhodnocuje, zda-li byl cíl práce, který je stanoven v úvodu, splněn či nikoliv. Příloha obsahuje například mapu areálu a logo sport centra Na Zámečku.

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe points of view from which you can analyze web pages and what methods you can use. In practice, the target group of this text would be rather managers than technical workers, because this work is not meant to be a compact "cookbook" after reading which you are able to analyze web sites by yourself. Instead, I'm trying to involve all the web site qualities and help with setting priorities in analytical activities which are fundamental when you are designing a new or running an existing web site. Writing my work I was coming first of all from my own experience having been gained by long self studies and work in consulting companies "H1.cz" and "Dobrý web". The analysis of web pages has been one of the most important services provided by both of these companies and it has been ordered by hundreds of both individual and enterprise clients until these days. The work is divided into major thematically designated parts, each focused on a specific quality of web pages (e.g. usability, accessibility, search engine optimization etc.) with its own particular analytical procedures and methods. I consider this way of division to be the most transparent, even though you can find other possible ways such as dividing all the analytical methods into groups according to the part of the life cycle in which the analyzed web site is situated. Some of the analytical procedures and methods are easier to understand from examples than from the text description and that is why I have used some well-known web sites of University of Economics' institutions as examples.
The competition in the area of money mediums

The object of interest of this work is application of the competition on the area of money. Money mediums competed with each other through various characteristics in the history which changed in the dependence on market circumstances, on concrete shapes of money or on interventions of executive. The aim of the work is to show individual forms and kinds of the competition among money and present them with some concrete historical examples. There were some periods of evolution of money where belonged precious comodities gold and silver which were transformed to other forms of coins. The other point was the emergence of money substitutes, particularly of banknotes and deposit certificates which began to differ with reserve cover. The economist von Hayek offers fiduciary banknotes which would be produced by privat banking against a goverment monopol of money where money compete with quite other ways. The final phase offers the situation of by goverment controlled money of today. The sight at the development of the competition among money mediums is realized by helping of the methodology of the austrian school.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem strategie společnosti na základě zhodnocení příčin úspěchu malého a středního podniku. Součástí práce je vypracování strategické analýzy podniku a konkurenční strategie. V bakalářské práci je kladen důraz na silné a slabé stránky podniku a zhodnocení PEST analýzy, která dává podniku informace o faktorech, které na podnik působí.
