Awareness of adolescentc aboat the effect of caffeine on the human body.

The main topic of this Bachelor thesis is the research dedicated to the level of awareness effect of caffeine on the human body of adolescentc population of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of my work is introducing caffeine, its presence in natural items and its use as an additive to food products. A part of the thesis is describing influence of caffeine on the human body. The main part of the thesis is consisted of the research which concentrates on level of awareness effect of caffeine on the human body of adolescentc population of the Czech Republic. The research also includes parts which should establish to which consumers are aware of the content of caffeine in beverages and other food supplements containing caffeine on consumers' organisms.
Buying and Consumption Habits in the Case of Coffee

The aim of the thesis is to suggest possible progress for producers or traders based on research of purchase and consumer behaviour. The target is to find out specific behaviour of coffee users, their habits and preferences. Next target is to find connections among the various aspects. Fundamental aspects (age and gender) were compared. In accordance with the aim of the thesis concrete measures are formulated for the company Matheo, lnc, which trades with fresh roasted coffee. The theoretical part contains literary background research. Background research defines purchase and consumer behaviour, marketing research, fairs and exhibitions. Next part deals with coffee, types of coffee, preparation of coffee, effects of coffee (caffeine) and consumption of coffee in the Czech Republic and all over the world. The practical part is focused on research of coffee user´s habits and sales research. The information and results were received by questioning of at least 200 respondents.
Commodity market

This work is focused on the description of the commodity market as a market in which a lot of opportunities are hidden. This market is an attractive investment for obtaining and saving money. The aim is to clarify the attractiveness of commodities to investors and through the historical development to analyze the commodity market in today's society. Another goal is to introduce commodities as instruments, which have become a competitor to other forms of investment (eg shares, bonds or real estate). Based on the findings from the analysis of the history, current market expert and major investors and investment opportunities will be filled with the main objective of the thesis, ie, prediction of future market development of selected commodities - gold, oil, coffee and wheat - in the next decade.
International Coffee and Tea Trade

This bachelor thesis is focused on the international trade in coffee and tea and the importance of Fair Trade in the world economy. The aim of this thesis is to describe the main flows of the international coffee and tea trade and introduce the major producers and its position on the world market. In the first and the most important chapter, the trade in coffee and tea is analysed in the global scale using analyses of export, import, consumption and price of these commodities. The second part is focused on Fair Trade, its basic principles and the significance of Fair Trade for producing countries. In this part I also concentrate on the support of Fair Trade in the Czech Republic. The third section contains a questionnaire which describes the importance of coffee and tea on the Czech market. The final chapter is dedicated to the interview with Petra Veselá, Coffee Book author.
The Importance of Fair Trade and Evaluation of Its Benefits

This work is focused on alternative ways to help developing countries and foster poverty alleviation through Fair Trade (FT). Based on characteristics and current running of Fair trade the aim of this thesis is to assess whether FT provide producers with benefits or not and whether the concept fulfil its goals. The first chapter introduces the FT concept, its basic characteristics, standards and rules allowing entry into the FT market as well as international FT organizations and the process of certification and licensing. The second chapter gives an overview of recent situation on markets importing FT products and puts Fair Trade market into the global context. Third section describes issues, difficulties and impacts that the presence of Fair trade causes. On the basis of this information the final chapter sums up positive and negative effects of Fair trade, also the importance, efficiency and benefits for involved producers will be assessed.
Trends in the Consumption of Coffee

The target of the marketing research in this work is to find out if there are some differences in the preparation of the coffee between users of various gender, age, education and a size of a place where they live. I used a method of questioning of at least 200 respondents. The next goal of this work is to find out what is for the consumers the most important shopping motivation, if they prepare and buy their coffee differently over the past years. Then I will write something about what they prefer - which brand, type, size of packaging. The theoretical part is about plantation of coffee, how coffee prepares, consumption of coffee in the Czech Republic and in the world, the culture of coffee, a creation of the market in the Czech Republic and a marketing research. The practical part mainly focuses on the research of the end user, sales research, research of product and prognosis. The practical part partly examines the total market analysis and the advertising research. The final part shows the current trends on the coffee market. It shows that over the past 10 years the habits in preparation of coffee has changed because the present trend aims at coffee express. The preferences concerning the size of the packaging has also changed ? coffee directs toward bigger package. The number of people who drink coffee and buy it in the hypermarket has risen. The biggest shopping incentive is the taste. The most preferred is the middle price level. Consumers most often buy the instant coffee in supermarket and in hypermarket. The most common preparation of roasted coffee is express coffee which is preferred by new consumers. Women do shopping in supermarket or hypermarket more often than men and women are more influenceable by an advertisement than men. More educated users prefer express coffee while less educated consumers prefer turkish coffee. More educated consumers more often visit hypermarket than less educated.
Caffeine and its importance in the dietary intake

Bachelor thesis presents the results of studies on the importance of caffeine in dieting of adolescents. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of caffeine, describes both desirable and undesirable effects of caffeine on the human body and presents his best-known sources. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of adolescence, there is introduced appropriate nutrition, fluid intake and the movement in the life of adolescents. Practical part of thesis evaluates the most preferred types of caffeine beverages and dietary supplements, frequency of consumption and their purpose in dieting of adolescents. It also investigates how the caffeine food is got adolescents in awareness, where is most often acquired and consumed. The analysis is based on quantitative research, which was conducted by using anonymous questionnaires. The obtained data are processed in graphical and tabular form.
Importance of caffeine in the diet of pubescents

The topic of this thesis is importance of caffeine in the diet of pubescents. The theoretical part deals with caffeine and its effect on the human body, describes the best known sources of caffeine. Furthermore, the period of pubescence is characterized in terms of development, nutrition and movement. The graduation thesis presents a quantitative research in which a questionnaire is used as the main research method. The targeted group comprises pupils aged 12-15 years. The practical part describes a representation of caffeine in the diet of pubescents including frequency of consumption of various kinds of drinks containing caffeine. It also points to preffered sources of caffeine on pubescents and the reasons for their consumption.
Specifics of marketing communication in the Czech Republic

In order to have successful television advertising spot, it is important to define the specifics typical for the product which are acceptable in the country where the spot will air. The purpose of coffee as a product is to appeal to senses and to whet the appetite, preferably in a good company where peace, joy and pleasant atmosphere dominates. The important part of an advertising spot is also demonstration of drinking and preparing coffee so that the consumer can learn how to prepare coffee properly. This product has clearly delimited target audience. In case of instant coffee, the target audience, are men and women from 25 to 35 years. On the other hand, ground coffee is appreciated by men and women in their forties.
Fair Trade as an aid for the developing countries: Does it help to whom it should?

This thesis explores principles and requirements set by the Fair Trade organisation. It is trying to find out if the membership in the organisation pays off and if the given rules don't limit some potential applicant's entrance. The research is carried out on the coffee market, because coffee is the most important Fair Trade article. The thesis conducts a survey on the coffee market and the specialized. The issues are examined based on organisation membership costs and benefits that arise with participation, particularly entrance and membership fees or minimal Fair Trade price. These conditions are examined in some participating countries, especially Costa Rica. The thesis comes with the conclusion, that Fair Trade is advantageous for its members, but to less extent than Fair Trade can offer, thanks to consumers insufficient demand. The thesis also clarifies, that the conditions set by Fair Trade limits acces to some producers.
